I traveled to the ranch from Waco on March 12, 2020 with my son and girlfriend. We brought our bassboat and even though it was windy we caught fish. The biggest fish went 4lbs 7oz which was caught by my girlfriend. We all had a wonderful time and hope to return to the ranch again. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

Came for a wedding not fishing. Wedding was beautiful but the rooms need a serious update. Everything was just as it was left in the 80’s. Beds are old and hard, sheets are like sandpaper & the the pillows are the scary grey and white stripe from the $1 store. There were bugs under the bed no working TV’s.But seeing as there is no other place anywhere close it’s better than drinking and driving. The owners were very sweet and fun to talk to. The house has a very interesting and colorful history be sure to ask about it!!! Over all great time but just set your accommodations bar very low.* I was contacted by the inn manager and asked to amend my review. She asked me to be specific about the types of bugs under the bed so it’s mistaken to be bed bugs. No I did not get bed bugs. There was a assortment of other bugs under the bed and in the window seals such as June bugs, flys & other bugs I don’t know by name. It was simply clear the rooms are only picked up before we got there but not most hotel standards of clean. I can’t let my baby crawl on the floor over dead bugs.

THE Staff IS ALWAYS AMAZING!! We come out here to do their Windshields, we own Fullers Mobile Auto Glass from Mabank Texas. Such a Beautiful place, quiet and serene. VERY VERY pristine, edged grass, awesome people on the grounds!! Hoping to bring my entire family out here for a weekend get away!!

Missing this place already, it was a very beautiful place. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the Inn was very clean and the rooms are very nice. Fishing was great on the main lake/pond. Great getaway for the weekend from DFW.

I recently attended a wedding at this venue on 4/28/18 and was impressed by the attention to detail shown by the maintenance staff and owner.

Went here with my son and wife for Cast for Kids. Gary and his wife plus the staff are AMAZING. My son has CP, quite a few physical issues, and some MHMR, and he loved it! I cannot thank you guys enough!

Always a beautiful place to stay. You get amazing views, and the rooms are comforting. Downstairs, they do have a pool table, but the door says Under Construction, do not enter, so Im not too sure whats going on. The staff and owner(s) are very friendly.

Bass fishermans destination. 5 differnt ponds, 5 differnt opportunities to catch a gordita! The inn is clean and comfortable, especially on those hot summer days. Gary and Mrs. Beverly are some of the nicest people around. Always look forward to visiting the BK Ranch.

There Crooks, watch your gear and personnel belongings, we came awayIm there wallet was missing and pair sunglasses was missing. Dont let the maid or anybody in your room because something will come up missing WATCH YOUR GEAR!

We had so much fun.We came to the Bk last october we had the pleasure of meeting Mr and Mrs Yamamoto and Wataru such wonderful people :) oh and all the cute little puppies. We caught fish played basketball had a great time We are planning going back this October yay. Hopefully

My brother and I had an AMAZING day of fishing on the water. We caught over 20 fish between us. Mr and Mrs. Yamamoto were INCREDIBLY kind and hospitable. We were 2 and a half hours late and the first thing Mr. Yamamoto said was that we didnt need to apologize and then he proceeded to offer us coffee (which I accepted and the coffee was delicious btw). It was such a down to earth and comfortable start to a fantastic day on the water. 10/10 would recommend. Awesome people, awesome location, awesome fish, & BEAUTIFUL scenery.

We are not sure how they have a business with the customer service that Beverly provides.There are so many rules on the web site of what you can and cant do to book a room you are forced to call.It took us weeks to get Beverly to answer the phone and once she did we were forced to hear her life story.No email confirmation of stay was given.Once we learned more about the place and tried to call back to book other activities Beverly never answered the phone.Once we did get in touch with her about our stay she was not helpful.We ended up leaving the ranch without catching a fish and without spending the night.If this is supposed to be more than a tax write off they should hire a company to run this place.
