Great service! I came into the store about an hour before close and needed a new grip on my putter. The store was fairly busy and only 2 employees were working. I was going to leave because I figured they were too busy since there were only 2 of them working. Mat sought me out and took care of the grip and less than 5 minutes.

Golf Galaxy is a great golf store. Had a lesson with Louis and hes an experienced PGA member and good teacher. Golf Galaxy has good swing technology and Louis shared videos with me for reference and study. Louis also gave me quite a few drills and changes that will improve my game. The store has an excellent array of golf clothes, shoes, golf bags, clubs, and golf accessories.

Do not come here to see Dan to get fitted for a club. Instead of fitting my husband for a club, he told him he was too bad to even assess. He didn’t even try the different club lengths and said because he was the same height as my husband, he didn’t need extra club length. Instead, go across the street and see Ken Blackburn at Edwin Watts Golf. No one needs a pompous jerk telling a potential high paying customer what is best.

They used to have a decent club repair department but the last handful of times I’ve gone in I’ve been very disappointed. There’s never any attention to detail. Wrong ferrule size, logos aren’t straight, scratched hosel, etc. I’d look elsewhere or online.

A nice big store with a huge selection. Most likely the largest selection in the Kansas City area. When Ive been there Ive been approach by different reps who were very helpful. Bottom line is that this is a huge store the provides different ways for you to try our the merchandise before you buy. Which is always a good thing.

Huge selection. A lot of reviews say no one approaches you to help I have never had this happen to me. I am always greeted at the door and someone asks if I need help within the first 5 minutes of being there. I went in for a club fitting and wasnt charged for the fitting just advised to modify my current clubs and to come back a month later for a more accurate fitting. Pretty great customer service review from me!

Great selection and prices, just not the best customer service when it comes to product help. Sales repos seem to go out of their way to avoid questions, or hastily just say Im with another customer and offer no remedy. Best to go there on less busy periods for one-on-one assistance.

I went here because I needed a few different things (new bag, shoes, and club) and I knew they had a great selection. I walked around for over an hour hoping someone would wait on me so I could get the bag I wanted down from the shelf and test the couple of clubs I wanted to look at. I finally asked someone to see if I could test the clubs so they threw me in a bay and didn’t even give any assistance to what may work better in the long run for me. I took pictures and names of everything that I wanted went to Edwin watts where they started working with me as soon as I got in the door. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me at this store but I know better than to go back now

This store is a disappointment. The selection is the best in town, but customer service is an embarrassment. If you know exactly what you need and don’t require any assistance, this is a great store. But if you have questions you’re going to be out of luck. Associates don’t even greet you let alone offer assistance. It’s hard to believe this store is part of the Dicks Sporting Goods family. I always feel like I’m a burden to the associates when I’m in this store. I only see them talking to each other, but when I ask them a question, I get very lazy answers that just imply they don’t care or I’m wasting their time. I hope the customer service will be addressed in the future because it has huge potential with their wide selections and multiple hitting bays with top of the line shot tracking tech. If you have questions or need help, go to Edwin Watts or go to Dicks. There is one exception in the shoe department. Janet was a huge help. Approached me, assisted with shoe selection, and overall was a big help. She is the first employee in 8-10 trips to the store who has offered to help me. Janet and the variety of inventory are the reasons I gave 2 stars instead of 1.

I dont usually leave online reviews, but I felt compelled to after the great service I received. Keegan was the sales rep who helped me pick out a new driver and putter and was super helpful. He showed me several options for both clubs and watched me take swings to narrow down which ones were best for me. He even gave me some mini-lessons to correct mistakes he saw in my stroke! Not to mention the selection at the store is great. But definitely look for Keegan if you have questions!

I worked with Keegan when exploring new irons. He asked the right questions, was informative, and wanted to help find the perfect club for me. I’d highly recommend looking for Keegan if you’re serious about replacing your old set of clubs!

Employees are seem to avoid customers rather than help. Stood in the store for about 30 minutes by the hitting bay with 3 clubs. Waited for a swing bay to open up and the employee just left and didn’t help at all. I will not be going back.

I originally worked with Dan my first time in the store to get fitted for new irons. He was informative and helped me find the perfect set of irons for me. Today they came in (6 days) and I went to pick them up. They set me up on the indoor range and let me swing away. After about 15 minutes of swinging around Keegan came over and introduced himself. Extremely impressed with his knowledge and I learned a lot! After about 45 minutes of instruction with him I was even more confident with my new irons than the day I went through the iron fitting and decided on them. I recommend not just this place but go see Keegan or Dan. Very happy with my new Apex 19 irons and the customer service I received during my two visits.

I would give negative stars if I could. This place has the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I just stood there for 20 minutes looking at woods and trying to figure out which one to buy, and possibly hit a few balls before buying, while 3 guys stood around talking about which golfers missed the cut, and then two other guys walk right by me without ever acknowledging me at all. You guys trying to sell clubs, or socialize? Won’t be giving this place my business ever again.

Just got home from my first but definitely not my last trip to Golfsmith. I went in in to purchase an entire set of clubs and Matt was great. He helped fit me for a set that I feel really confident with. I would definitely recommend heading there for your golfing needs.

Their customer service is horrible Ive been in there for about an hour trying to make up my mind as to which set of irons to buy about 10 minutes before they close I decide on a set I have to swing one club one time just to make sure that that was going to be my choice the old man back at the demo area said nope were getting ready to close and I said I just want to swing 1 time to decide if I want to buy it he said nope. When I said I guess Im not buying a set of irons then he said I guess not

I went into this store with high expectations and was completely let down. I was fully prepared to spend money on new clubs and a bag. To my disappointment, there were 2 associates walking the floor and never approached me and seemed unavailable to help anyone. I think one associate was actually practicing his putting rather than making a sale. DONT waste your time at this place.

I tried to buy a set of irons yesterday and couldnt get help for almost 10 min..Then he tried to pawn me off on someone else that wasnt even there. There staff is unprofessional and discriminate against shoppers depending on how they are dressed.Especially the guy who looks like a foot ball player. I have been purchasing equipment there since it opened. But no more. Ill take my money elsewhere.

If I could give zero stars I would. I walked into this place no more than 4 or 5 customers in the store, not one person said hello. I waited by the shop to get a new shaft put on and I waited 15 minutes, nobody came, nobody said hello. I stood infront of 3 different employees as they were talking to either customers or each other and none of them greeted me or asked if I needed anything. It would have been simple if they had just said Ill be with you in a minute. The employees here dont care about you or your game, they could care less if you buy anything from them or not.As I was walking out of the store other customers were greeted but not us, when I was leaving I told the clerk (an older gentleman) he might of been a manager, that I was going to take my business elsewhere, as I was completely ignored for almost 15-20 minutes. He just said well they were probably just to busy to help you.I called customer service and its been 3 days and nobody has called back, go to Edwin Watts its not far from Golf Smith but atleast they wont treat you like dirt.
