We didnt love the location being in a mall given the current situation but understand and our kids really liked it. I would expand some of the exhibits and maybe have some cameras so they can see themselves while they are exploring. It was cool!!!

We had a blast at wonder wonder kc! It was larger than I expected and had so many different, unique rooms to snap photos in! Depending on how much you want to interact with the rooms, I would plan 1-2 hours to go through it and make some memories! Currently, they even have a Chiefs room - how cool!

This place was so much fun! The rainbow light room was definitely a favorite. We spent 2 hours there, and definitely could have spent more time. Each room provides the opportunity to get creative with the photos you take. The women at the front desk shared that the rooms change every couple months, and they have a couple rooms that stay the same all the time. We will definitely be back in a couple months to see the different rooms! Attached is a photo of the kaleidoscope room.

WOW, what a FUN place! My husband and I were looking for something a little different to do for a random Saturday night and this was PERFECT. Ive been raving about it all week to my friends and family. For the same cost as a movie we spent the entire time exploring the different rooms, laughing and generally having a ball. Plus now we have tons of photos to remember the evening with! This is a great date experience or would be really fun with a group of friends. We spent about an hour and half there and didnt really spend that much time in several of the sets.It is kid friendly (and kids would certainly enjoy it), but as a mom just know that if you bring kids there is a lot of places for kids to explore. Thats awesome, but be aware that you may spend a lot of time wrangling your children so they dont interrupt other people. One thing I was a little concerned about before going in was how public the shooting spaces would feel. We arent trying to get a bunch of selfies, we were just there for something different, so I didnt want to feel self conscious having people wait or watch us take pictures. It was a relief that we had a designated time to show up. We felt like we were mostly there by ourselves. We saw other people but everyone mostly kept to themselves and there was never a moment where we felt on display (even tho 2 of the rooms are in a store front). The entire experience felt very private.Im a professional photographer so at the last minute I grabbed my camera. Im so glad I did! We took a few photos with our phones but had a lot more flexibility over the darker areas with the camera so we mostly used that. If I was going there in a professional sense a flash or flood light would be necessary (tho even without it we ended up with around 300 finished images). Some of the rooms have amazing light, some have workable light and some are so dark that there is no way you can get a shot without external lighting. The last thing I want to add is about the staff. The girls in lobby were super sweet, very helpful and even volunteered that they could take shots of us in the DIY Room next to the lobby. We ended up with one shot of the two of us at the end that we werent expecting that was the cherry on top of a great night!

I found a deal on Groupon! - Definitely a great buy. I believe it is geared towards younger people, but it was a delight for an almost 30 year old.

This was an amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone! It was fun and immersing place with different themes rooms. The only downside is its new so kind of small. Hopefully the longer they are here the more they will expand, because they are currently adding items now. Its was energetic and not too short. Overall, it was one of the coolest things Ive done in a while. But. As I said, more exhibits are always great!P.S. its a great place for photos!

This is a really cool and fun place! I really love the concept of changing rooms and getting cool new angles and experiences every time you come in. The staff has been friendly and it’s well lit and clean in the space. Really would recommend for family photos, for getting good instagram content, and even an outing with friends!

My partner and I visited Wonder Wonder during our roadtrip to Kansas City, originally I was very excited. I had never been to an immersive art experience and with Meow Wolf being my only reference point to immersive art, I was intrigued and hopeful. When we got there I was still excited. The welcome room and shop are cute, well layed out and make it seem like youre about to step into something magical. I walked in and the disappointment started. This was literally a space built for people to take pictures. Its like an instagram hot spot. There was no experimentation, no immersiveness, there literally wasnt anything to play with and nothing to interact with. I was fuming when I realized I had wasted money to walk through rooms cheaply designed and boring. If I would have known what I was getting myself into I would have gone outside and taken a picture for free. This was honestly the most underwhelming experience of my life. If gluing pool noodles to the wall is Wonder Wonders idea of immersive well they need to look in a dictionary and check the definition of the word immersive. Dont waste your time or your money. Its perfect if youre obsessed with social media and getting that perfect picture. But if youre a normal human being looking to have a good time, this is not the place for you. Taken from Wonder Wonders website ......Wonder Wonder is a new form of experiential entertainment that intends to bring out the weird, wild, and wonderful in ways you’ve never seen before. Our mission is to create an immersive one-of-a-kind experience that is as engaging as it is inspiring. Part art exhibit, part photography opportunity — each room is meant to tap into people’s creativity and curiosity while providing a welcoming environment for all experience-goers. If youre looking to waste your money and buy into false advertising this is the place for you.
