I used to be outside(homeless)in this area and with no where to go during the day.I used to drop in here and they let me hangout here+shower+fed me multiple times. They let me wash my clothes whenever I needed too and shower as much as I wanted too.Now I have my own home, vehicle and have my own mobile detailing buisness.Thankyou Zebra Coalition!

The Zebra Coalition changes lives and saves them. The negative reviews here are just people who complain about everything and are never satisfied. Zebra hosted a prom last year and it was the most magical night. I’m so thankful to the organization and for what they do for LGBTQ youth. Thank you.

The Zebra Coalition is an organization unlike any others with the same mission in town. Ive seen first hand how the staff and the leaders have saved and changed the lives of countless LGBT+ youth. The team works tirelessly to help the kids with anything they might need: including food, housing, showers, transportation, and much, much more. The staff connects the kids with mentors, who help the kids with careers and inspire them to see that it does get better. The team brings the kids to local events: like plays, concerts, soccer games, concerts, and restaurants, which gives them a chance to break out of their shells and meet other people. The Zebra team provides an opportunity for the kids to be leaders and to speak at local and national events which helps the kids realize that they too could conquer the world one day. In addition to providing incredible services, the staff also cares sincerely for every client, parent, and person who walks through their doors. As a teacher, who has had several kids supported by Zebra, I can say that I dont know what I would have done if Zebra had not been there to help. The staff and leaders of Zebra are champions for their clients. Lord only knows how we need people like them in todays world. Thank you for all that you do for these beautiful people, you have and are making a difference in lives of LGBT+ youth now and for years to come.

In the year and a half or so I have been going to Zebra I have received my GED,enrolled in hair school, and have been able to find resources to help myself remain stable. The free counseling is really worth it and I highly recommend it. Both counselors I have had in my time going here have been excellent at their job. They offer a wide variety of services for the queer youth here in Orlando and I am deeply grateful for the help they have been able to provide me with.If you are considering checking it out - do it. If you are willing to receive help, they will help you. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone I know who is 24 years old and younger.

I have had over a years worth of experience with Zebra Coalition and I have to say that it is absolutely amazing. Their staff and counselors work incredibly hard and do amazing things all while showing great empathy and respect while facilitating the creation of a great environment for youth of all stripes. They also offer really great programming on a variety of topics relevant to the LGBTQ community.

This place would be great if you are looking for an after school ice cream social or a Boys and Girls club. Dont take someone you care about here expecting them to get help. Expect to be told to come back again and again and staff to not be available for appointments they set. Very disappointing. They do not live up to their mission statement.

This place was an excellent resource. The core staff have changed. As a result, I question the honesty and helpfulness of the staff. They do offer housing but its in a tough area. They still have helped me immensely which is why Im continuing my case there. We will see what the future brings.

NOTE: a review was posted under my name as spam. This has been reported as abuse. I have previously worked and volunteered with Zebra and think they are a good resource for underprivileged, unrepresented youth. Please disregard this as a someone obviously decided to take advantage of my name to make heinous accusations. Thank you.

Pros: The staff are nice to an extentCons: After a month in the hospital they returned all my mail and refused to assist me with homeless services and left me on the streets for 3 nights before I finally had to go back to the hospital due to new health concerns.

The ABSOLUTE WORSE place to get homeless resources and housing for homeless youths. They are located on mills near E colonial Dr , but they house homeless kids in a drug rehabilitation facility with recovering addicts on WEST COLONIAL AND JOHN YOUNG pkwy on Maxwell terrace apartments. They are 3 rooms, 2 per room and theres cockroaches, stinky/smelly dramatic retarded ill roommates, no stove, little space, no food ,no wifi or tv accessibility. Curfew is at 10pm everyday not including fridays and sat 11pm i doesnt matter if you have a job you need to be there by curfew or terminated by lack of communication or insubordination. I do not recommend this place to anyone! This place does everything through appointments to keep records for their own financial fullfilment. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING. THEY DONT REALLY CARE ABOUT YOU
