Nice facility, with 2 ice rinks. We attended a birthday party which was very well organized by a staff member.

I love coming here every weekend and going to open skates. i used to play hockey and i took a break. when i got new skates and started skating again this place was very helpful in redeveloping my skating skills. the sessions during the day and saturday nights are a little busy but its not terrible if you have good reflexes and control.

Adison: I used to skate here all the time when o was little for like an ice skating practice every Saturday with my aunt everyone thought we were sisters and this was before my grandfather ended up working at hone and on Saturdays when he stopped it was to late to go back I always had a dora outfit a dora jacket dora gloves dora hat and even dora bangs and shoes it was the best time ever I went there once for my friends birthday amazing time and then once just to come also wonderful and I wanted to come for my birthday in April this year but I couldn’t because of Covid-19 amazing and wonderful place! can’t wait to go after Covid-19

It so fun to go and skate at the ice den! I just go for the public skate times, it is really cheap and fun! They also have different types of camps and lessons such as learning to skate, hockey, and figure skating. The open skate can get busy, but it’s never crowded to where it makes an amateur skater like me feel unsafe on the ice. Fun place to go, even if you can’t skate, there is a first time for everything! I recommend going!

Moonlight Roller way is a jam! If youre from FL then you probably know how insanely great this place is! Price is great and has an amazing set up and easily used skates! This place does get packed especially on weekends but still worth it to go.

Employees were rude and negative about their customers and job. Although there was a bad experience with the employees it was a nice place overall and they were very organized in the way that they handled the hockey tournament and public skating at the same time. The food was decent and the place was clean. The two rinks are large and there is plenty of seating and room. Would definitely come here again.

They need to improve on their Saturday drop in hockey. I drove an hour to play in their drop in, and called ahead to make sure I can play. Sorry we do not reserve spots it is first come first serve. So I drive an hour, show up and buy a few things from their pro shop, come out talk to the girl behind the counter and she says sorry drop in is full. Not her fault, and the staff is always very professional and curious, however disappointing to drive a distance to be turned away.So whats the point of driving an hour to play drop in hockey? They should have something online where you can pay and reserve your spot ahead of time like they do in the movie theatres??I will not be returning to a drop in hockey event here unless they make an improvement.I also play in the adult leagues here. It seems as though there really isnt a scaling system for talent. There are players in the B league also in the C league and from the C league to the D league...Overall they have a good group of guys coming out to play. The reffing is pretty good here as well.

I went with a large group for public skate, and the workers were so amazingly nice and accommodating. Loved it!

Disgraceful! How r u going to hava a skate and shoot session with no space to skate? Sectioning off one rink into thirds to triple ur billings? Horrible. Someone gets hurt i hope they sue the hell out of this place

It can get really crowded in the summer when schools out, usually with a bunch of teenagers. They play good music but it would be nice if its a bit louder.

Hadn’t been skating in ages and thought it would be a nice thing to do on a mental health day before my therapist appointment later.About 30 minutes into the open ice session, the police approach me asking for my ID because I was violating a trespass order (my first time ever there). It wasn’t on me, (my wallet was in my locker) and the cops got a bit terse about it.An employee then runs up to let them know they have the wrong person.Somehow, they mistook the 5 foot 6 Hispanic man with black hair in his 30s for a 6 foot tall Caucasian blonde teenager.I didn’t really feel comfortable there anymore after that. I got an apology, a refund, and an offer of a free skate session.Sadly, that doesn’t make up for the new issues I’ll have to bring up in therapy.It’s a shame as the skating was pretty therapeutic before the profiling. I probably would have gone back, but I feel incredibly uncomfortable.In the future, I suggest treating your patrons with a bit more respect, and verifying who they are before sending the cops after them.

The RDV Sportsplex Ice Den is our home away from home. Its a fantastic facility for ice skating, hockey, and figure skating. It offers seasonal programs, advanced travel programs, and recreational activities. There is a fantastic gym with child care built in. The only issue is that the ice programs have become so busy that ice time is hard to come by. They need another sheet of ice.

$12 or $9 if you have your own for 1h and 45minutes.

I’ve come here a handful of times and went tonight with my boyfriend. As expected, 30 seconds on the ice and I busted my butt (totally laughable!!!), but the helpers on ice were so quick and attentive and the manager was so professional and kind.

I give this place a 5 star because though the place is quite old and may need quite an update... Their customer services has been 100%. Its been quite a bit in me going; due to life situations, but over all, I will recommend this place to anyone interested to try something out of their comfort zone, different and fun.

Ive been having issues with my skates and dont have any pro shops near me. I was in town for a short visit and went by for some advice and service, Jeff was knowledgeable and helpful. I wish there was a place like this back home. Thanks so much.

Beautiful rink. Heard complaints at competition that the Olymic rink’s ice is softer than the Pro rink’s ice but I didn’t see a difference. Staff was very nice.

My 6 year old daughters birthday party was scheduled at an outdoor venue. Unfortunately the weather was not cooperating that day so I thought about rescheduling but my daughter had already waited 3 weeks past her birthday for her party. So, 3 hours before the party was supposed to start, we decided to move the event somewhere else. I looked into ice skating at rdv and learned they had a group rate but they did not allow outside food so we wouldnt be able to do her cake. But after speaking with the group sales coordinator Kim, we realized they had a party room available that we could rent by the hour. It was actually quite affordable and solved our problem. We arrived at the skate rink, skated, got the party room (which was all set up for us), had the cake and everything went off without a hitch! Kim even managed to round up some candles and a lighter which got left at home. RDV did a great job at working with us last minute to help my daughter have some semblance of a birthday party...

Too bad no other ice skating rinks in San Fran. Went there for a party. Not enough people behind the counter and they seemed not to care.Slow service, bumpy ice. no more parties there please!!!

Best ice around the Orlando area. Two sheets of ice. One Olympic size and one pro. Adult hockey leagues for all skill levels if you dont mind playing late in the evening. Staff is friendly and proshop price matches hockeymonkey and hockey giant.

Ive been going to this skating rink since I was 14. Im 29 now and though the years have flown by, this place has stood the test of time. The rink is well maintained.

If I could give this a 0 star rating I would. The fact that I have called repeatedly left 2 voicemails and sent an email to schedule my sons birthday over 2 weeks ago and never got a response is disappointing. A phone call to say your booked or short on staff what ever the case may be would be nice. The one place he wanted to celebrate his 8th birthday party has let him down!Update- Ive already made plans to go a different route considering I had to wait 2 weeks with no phone call I made other plans. Thank you.

Bday party for the kids went well. Two ice rinks and a concession stand. You can rent or bring your own skates. They also have a shop where you can buy everything from skates to pads.

So much fun. Nice fair price. Good clean skates. Clean ice. Safety guys out on the ice to help if someone gets hurt.

The place is very clean and they have great staff but they could use some upgrades on their rental skates and their hours are horrible. Most weekdays are only open from 12:00-1:45 or 3:00-4:45 I think Wednesdays are the only days with both except for Fridays and weekends which are open later in the evenings but are packed which makes it hard for people who are there to practice. Basically the hours arent conducive for anyone with school or a job and they dont even sell packages you can buy that will allow you to go multiple days or whatever, instead you have to buy a wrist band every time and it sucks because that really adds up. Long story short, I would never go there if there was a place with better hours anywhere nearby but its the only one in Orlando so options are limited.

My kids love this place. Fun activities for the whole family. Good way to get an excercise too.

My son has been skating here a little over a year and it has really been a amazing experience. All the coaches and volunteers are awesome, theyre so helpful and you can tell they genuinely like what they do and love to see the kids improve. TRUST ME I DRIVE OVER A HOUR JUST TO GET HERE! My son now plays hockey and we are here several days a week as they always have something going on and have multiple programs. Its gonna be really sad when we eventually move back to Boston because this rink has really become our second home. If youre thinking about starting your chid in hockey DO IT HERE TRUST ME!

The staff are nice as well as the ice. The place is clean. The rental shoe are very worn out though. If you paid online you have to go there for a refund. The group lessons are good but the teachers dont help you until you are really struggling.

Food is a little pricey. Skating is a little pricey for only about 1.5-2hrs of skating. Maybe I went on a special occasion but time went by quick. Also, wished that the staff on the ice did something about the people who just zip around people.

What can I say it is just awsome. Trust me you will have fun. Couple or single; with friends or with haters go and have fun.

This place is too reliant on ONE staff member for services. We signed up for the Learn to Skate program, which was okay (not great, but not bad). We decided we wanted to put our daughter in some private ice skating lessons so that she could advance more quickly. I was told that I had to email the supervisor, BJ to line up a teacher. So I emailed her. A couple weeks went by and no reply. I stopped at the front desk again to ask about private lessons and again was told only BJ could arrange. I was told she was busy last few weeks with figure skating competitions. Okay - no problem. They advised I leave a note with my contact info. for BJ. They said she would get back to me. That was at least two weeks ago now. Please start sharing some of the responsibilities so everything is not depend on one person.

Ice was pretty decent. Rental skates were comfy but had zero edges which made it impossible to stop. If your going to rent make sure you check the edges.

Its got everything you could need to work out. The classes that are included with membership are a great way to stay active and motivated. Its the only gym I want to go to.

I have played Ice hockey every other year or so since ~2001 and love the mens league hockey.The college hockey games are also fun to watch. UCF has a great team.

The young kids are annoying. HOW DO YOU SKATE SO WELL YOURE LIKE 2. STOP MAKING ME ANNOYED BY HOW WELL YOU SKATE.In all seriousness, its a fun time. Definitely recommend learning to ice skate.

I liked it but I wish that they had more hours for public skating and maybe 1,2, or even 3 hours of practice time so that I could skate a little longer.

We called before we went and asked the prices and times for the ice skating . We got there and the price was different because the person forgot it was Friday night . No big deal right ? Ok so then we pay $60 for the four of us to skate after waiting in line for 30 minutes. The line wasnt moving at all .. Not slow .. I mean not at all . Complete standstill for 15 of the minutes we waited . We pay . We go through the person checking wrist bands and she says you have until 945. It was 820 at this time ! Are you kidding me !? We had to then wait to get skates... Didnt have my size or anything close so I had to squeeze Into a skate 2 sizes to small . Rediculous ! My boyfriends shoes were to big but its all they had too. We went around the rink once and they announced we had to get off for 15 minutes while they smooth the ice ! Are you kidding me ? So all in all we got to scate for about 30 minutes . I will never go back again ! Also I think it was teen night and they forgot to tell us that part too. There literally wasnt one person older than 16 except my boyfriend and I . Tried to make the best of it but boy what a waste of money and time !

I skated 30 years ago when peggy fleming and Dorothy hamel were the top skaters now Im telling my age lol, I began skating again about 4 months ago, I started with the learn to skate program, have gained some confidence with the help of Kristen Varney my coach. The staff and fellow skaters are all so kind and helpful, there are some really great skaters. I have really enjoyed my time at the rink on and off the Ice. I am so grateful for my coach Kristin she is the best. she has made me feel so good about myself which is an area I really needed work on. ThankYOU for all your kind words!!!
