One of the coolest experiences available at Disney Springs. The wait from check-in to putting on the headsets was about 30 minutes, and this was Thanksgiving at 1pm for the Wreck It Ralph experience.I cannot stress this enough, check in at your designated time and not before. I showed up about 10 minutes prior and was told to come back at my designated time. Not a big deal, I assume this is how they handle the schedule for their shows.Ill start off by trying to be as picky as possible, for those that want to hear the bad news first. The screen resolution in the headsets is low enough to see aliasing on all the character models, if this doesnt mean anything to do you, good. Because it becomes irrelevant within a minute of starting. The motion tracking was accurate about 95% of the time, youll occasionally have to swipe at a critter twice to get your hits to register. The experience is about 15 minutes from start to end, so youll for sure be waiting longer than youll be playing.I was immersed enough to forget all of the faults I listed above, but not to the point where I forgot I was in a virtual reality. The future is very bright for this technology and Im definitely coming back for the Star Wars experience. The price may be tough to justify a 15 minute experience, but to my knowledge, there is nothing like this anywhere else at Disney/Universal/Busch Gardens.

This was an awesome experience! From the debrief to the photo finish! My only complaint was the actual amount of time you get spend in the VR portion. My husband and I went through just the two of us and we were done in ten maybe twelve minutes. We are both newbies to VR and once your eyes adjust it is incredible! SIDE NOTE: The vests are Fluffy Friendly if youre concerned about the gear you can call ahead but they do offer extensions for the vest clips, my husband was quite comfortable and could move with ease.

Really cool experience but not worth the high price imo the whole think probably last about 15 minutes, the staff was rushing us through the whole process and they were very really bad about giving detections my son and I were lost half the time. We didn’t know there would be a puzzle to solve or let us take pictures wearing the suit. Almost 80 bucks you would assume they would at least let you take a snap of yourself to remember the experience but they even sell you that too. I don’t see myself coming back.

My boyfriend did this one without me and loved the experience other than his headset kept falling off. Hes not one to complain but I bet they would have let him do it again if he had asked.I personally think its overpriced. But I dont think any Star Wars fan would care about the price. Everyone I spoke to while purchasing the ticket loves it! I only took off a star because of price and the headset falling off. Maybe staff failed at securing his gear. I dont know. But for that much money, everything should be in tip top shape!I chose not to reserve and to go buy the ticket when we got there. Wait was not long at all. I think we got lucky!

We were here January 1,2020. We had our reservations and showed up about 30 minutes prior to our check in time. We had two groups (half doing Star Wars and the other wreck it Ralph) and it took our two groups 3 hours and 15 minutes WITH RESERVATIONS to get through the “experience”. While it was definitely cool, it was not worth wasting that amount of time on. Staff was friendly and helpful but the overall operation, needs serious adjustments. New Year’s Day or not, a 5-8 minute experience should not take over 1:35 per group.

The program itself was fun and fairly easy to navigate and participate along with. What a fun experience. Me and my three kids went, ages 13, 18 and 20. We had a blast. Laughed a lot at each other because we had no teamwork. It was cool to see each other as stormtroopers. Other than a few minor glitches in the video, we thought it was a great experience. The actual experience we thought was just enough. The guy who prepared us, Briar, was great. We used the Black Friday discount code, so that made it even better with lowering the cost. Oh, we did the Star Wars one. Wow, just Wow. That was a lot of fun. We did the Star Wars adventure (like there was another choice) The full immersion they provide, really makes you think youre in the movie. The recoil of the gun, the sensation you feel from being shot by a blaster, and the heat. SPOILER there is a Volcano scene and you can feel the Heat! Its Florida in summer, please add a Hoth scene. Suiting up is easy and the people at the Void are very helpful. My only complaint is the length. The actual gameplay lasted maybe 10 minutes. $37 for ten minutes.... dont get me wrong, it was awesome and Im glad I did it. I have a family of 5.... you do the math. Maybe if they let you turn around and do the Wreck it Ralph adventure for 20.... that would have been cool. Ive heard there is a Ghostbuster version of this, Yes Please! No footage inside, but it is really cool. Overall great experience and recommend everyone try this at least once. There is an height restriction, 48 inches to ride this ride. Despite the cast, the technology is great! Just make sure your pack is working, visually it looks GREAT, make sure the vibration is on. If it didnt work, ask to do it again because this happened to us about a year ago and we didnt even know it wasnt working. We were here on New Year’s Day.. I’m not sure if that explained the long wait .. even with a reservation time. It’s the best VR place I’ve ever experienced. I really wish it would’ve been longer game play though, considering the wait. Besides the short duration, the whole experience was exceptional. The first person greeting you, controlling the line, was super nice and helpful. When you get inside, the staff are very attentive and courteous. The setup is really cool, and the VR experience is realistic! I felt like I was really in the environment. You actually pulled levers and walked through doors. Bravo! Ive been waiting for an experience like this for 25 years, ever since I fired up the original DOOM in high school, and immediately wished I could wear a visor that would transport my friends and I inside the game. The VOID is just that - youre transported inside a video game, with up to 3 friends. Not just any video game, a Star Wars game. It was incredible, with haptic feedback and even smell-o-vision adding to the sense of immersion. I went with my father, a grumpy skeptic who never likes my recommendations, but he came out of the experience overwhelmed, declaring it the best implementation of technology in an entertainment experience hes ever seen. My friend who went with us said, look at all of these people at Disney Springs just walking around eating and shopping, they have no idea what an amazing experience is lying right under their noses. We went on a February weekday and walked right in, no line. The whole thing was a pure delight, and a tremendous technological achievement. Id have happily paid double, nay, quadruple the asking price for this sublime experience. Thank you VOID, for making a dream come true! My only wish is for even more, bigger, better! Went with friends and family for the first time. The experience was amazing but the wait time was annoying. They have you book appointments ahead of time, but they dont seem to matter as you end up waiting way past the scheduled time (was almost like 45 mins after the fact). Also the site says to show up 10 minutes early, we did so but got turned away and told to come back at the exact time of the appointment. Which is what I think hurt us because a flock of people got in just before us at that point. They need to work on how to schedule these better.

This thing rocks!!! The Void Star Wars experience is the single most incredible Star Wars experience available, even vastly superior to the new rise of the resistance and smugglers run at Hollywood studios. There is nothing else as close to this on the coolness spectrum as a star wars fan. Youre a stormtrooper squad on a mission and its as immersive as you could get. Disney should spring for more of these inside the parks because they are far away the gold standard fan experience. Dew it!!

The one thing I think would make the experience is a more isolated briefing. TL;DR: they don’t take care of their stuff, nor do they clean it, and they don’t seem to care about your experience at all anymore which is kind of the point of the void, it’s their only actual product you’re buying.Ok so this review is only for our experience my wife and I had last night, and is only for this void location. The reason I’m calling this out is the void I went to in San Francisco was awesome. Also the experience we had at this void last year was awesome. So what follows is an issue with quality, maintenance, and customer care.So we did the Ralph one last time and it was perfect but something about the sensors didn’t work right this time and your hands were never in the right place. This lead to the VR experience being disorienting. To add the loss of the experience my visor was broken, the team member from the void knew this and explained it away as “oh this one is a little loose and will open some on its own”. They did not offer to switch me to another pack. Now to top of the headset experience there were TWO more issues. The audio just didn’t work. So we were unable to communicate with each other and it was difficult to hear the game audio. To add to this was the headsets were not regularly cleaned as the team member suggested, mine had someone’s long stand of hair in it and I only noticed after we were suited up (it actually got in my mouth while we were playing...YUCK).So this location IMO is terrible due to poor upkeep of their gear and my wife and I will not be back for a long while. If the void doesn’t improve this then they’ll be out of Disney springs within a year. It’s a shame too because I’ve experienced the star wars one in San Francisco and it’s stunning.

I would not recommend joining a group with strangers if thats an option... they try to fill groups of 4, and the two people with us were confused at times which put a bit of a damper on the experience. Experience itself is very cool, however dont plan on being allowed in any time close to your actual reservation time. We had a 3pm reservation, arrived and stood in line waiting to enter until nearly 4pm when we were finally allowed in. We waited longer for this than we did almost anything else we did at Disney, which is really saying something.I mentioned this in the feedback from they have you fill out afterwards and was simply told that it was normal to wait that long and that we shouldve expected it since it was a peak time. Why take reservations if you have no intention of letting people in anywhere close to the time they reserved? Why not take fewer reservations? Theyve been doing this long enough to know what their capacity is, yet they are obviously taking more reservations than the number of people they can actually get through. I dont know when your peak times are and I shouldnt have to care when they are because thats the whole point of making a reservation.I wont be back and wont be recommending this to others. Paying $30/person, and having to stand in line for an hour anyway is just not worth it for the experience you get.

Reservation times mean nothing. They overbook and put you in a line that moves extremely slowly, and then lie about how long its going to take.We came in at 3:00 and bought tickets for the next time at 3:30. At 3:30 we were allowed to sign waivers and enter the long line in a room with 30 other people and not enough AC.After waiting for a while we explained to the attendant that we needed to leave at 4:30 to make a flight, and we were assured that we would be able to make it out by 4:30. We waited in line until 4:15 before moving only five spots ahead and deciding to just get a refund. All in all it was terrible management of expectations and huge waits in lines. I wish I could say how the VR experience was, but its in no way worth the experience leading up to it.

The experience you will have is nothing short of amazing. The realistic experiences simulate even the temperature around you. The virtual reality experience here includes props and planned environmental elements that can trick you into thinking you are actually transported to another world. Be prepared to be amazed. Be prepared for the emersion into a new reality.

Great experience The VR just needs improving so there is no lag in movement or space between people, but with improvement in the technology this will get a perfect rating Everything else was fantastic

My grandson convinced me to accompany him. At the outset seemed a bit pricy. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Experience well worth the expenditure. Was one of the high points of our vacation!

I’ve been dying to try out The Void since 2016, and it has lived up to my expectations! I believe our guide’s name was Kellen and he was friendly and knowledgeable. From check in to check out, every team member we encountered was wonderful and friendly. You can really tell they all love what they do.The experience is truly immersive and fun for all ages. The best part was being paired up with people we’ve never met all having a great time together.I highly recommend this to anyone traveling to Disney Springs. Would love to go again!

Absolutely loved the VR and the experience itself! Super worth going at least once if you’re a Star Wars fan! My only complaint is that it was a lot shorter than realized and the pricing doesn’t come with a photo $15-$25 extra.

The VR experience was better than anything Ive ever tried. Well worth the 30 dollars and really fun, especially with friends. There was a staff member who didnt believe that this is my actual name due to the unfortunate meme with the same name and I had to pull out my id to show him but other than that all staff were friendly and helpful.

We did the Star Wars one and it was incredible! My mother was saying this was one of her fav experiences of the whole Disney trip, and she was super excited that it didn’t make her sick. Heck, we both got nauseous on flight of passage (apparently 3D VR is a problem for me), and while my mom can ride big thunder, she can only do it once and needs a coke immediately after. Also, none of us can be considered gamers. I’ve played mostly as a kid on consoles like the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis. My mother’s video game experience largely consists of 80’s Tetris and Burger Time (also from the 70-80’s), while my aunt’s video game experience is limited to the Atari. All of us loved this! The staff did a great job making sure everything was properly adjusted - especially the vision in the head gear. The experience/storyline itself was also really cool and fun! We totally want to do more and are only sad that they don’t seem to have a location where we live. Try this - you won’t regret it!

We have a family of four including a 15 and 13 year old, and we had a fun time. We scheduled an appointment for 11:15 for Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire and were in within thirty minutes of our appointment time, which I didnt think was bad. We all loved the experience. Even my 13 year old was raving about it at the end, and she doesnt even care for Star Wars. I highly recommend it.

This was the most authentic Star Wars experience I have ever seen. Really incredible. The integration of the player into the entire environment was amazing. You experience your environment in four of your five senses. You move between rooms, you have to use your mind and your reflexes to get through the challenge. There is humor and characters from the Star Wars universe integrated in seamlessly. The experience is brilliant. I know few people who wouldnt completely enjoy this. Do it!

Awesome experience!I would definitely do it again. Went with my son and his family. Had the best time ever at the Springs. Grandson kept shooting me but it was worth it. NOTE: Do NOT opt out of future emails when you sign in!!! You will not get your results. My son opted out and lost all results (scores) for his whole family. bummer.
