Very good theater for concerts. We even got an upgrade of our tickets. From balcony to 6th row.

Exceptional theater with wonderful shows. This theater has some of the best acoustics of any theater I’ve been in. Artists consistently remark about the quality of this place. Check the schedule and take in a show, or even better, buy season tickets.

Highly recommended; professionally run, well managed theatre for a small city. They regularly acquire top knotch professional travelling shows and performers and tickets are fairly priced compared to larger cities. An exceptional value.

Just a nice place with wonderful shows

We have attended maybe a dozen or two shows here over the year and they all have been exciting and entertaining. The theater is very comfortable and the acoustics of the hall are well done. The staff takes pride in bringing in the best of shows -- quite a feat for a town the size of Orange.

Very nice set ups and people. The only issue is the long staircases, but thats not enough to deduct a star.

Love the Lutcher. They are always so nice and helpful. Thats a fabulous Theater.

Michael McDonalds concert was excellent. One of the best weve experienced.

Not impressed. We went for the first time last night to see a choir of men. The performance was great, so nothing against them, but we were annoyed by the fact that we had purchased balcony tickets in the center front well in advance for the acoustics and the view. But were notified on the day before the show that we were being moved from the balcony to the main floor. We were told we would be given new tickets. Then when we arrived they put us in the way back of the main floor, only to find out by someone else in attendance that the same day we were notified of the move, that the theatre had done a fire sale on tickets reducing them to $25.00 each. That means that we paid more for worse seats because we purchased them in advance. When I mentioned it to a staff that perhaps in situations like this, people who had to be moved because as they stated the remodel wasnt complete should have had the option to be upgraded to the better tickets they had sold at $25.00 she was very dismissive. Also, if they were really renovating I couldnt tell, not that I had been there before as this was our first time there.... but.... it didnt look newly renovated to me. It didnt look horrible or in disrepair, but it didnt look new either.

Very pretty facility (except too many stairs). Saw Chicago, the musical. Couldnt always hear all of the words.

What a wonderful place for enjoying the arts in our South East Texas.The theater is immaculate and I cant say enough about the ushers. So helpful and plenty of them eager to make sure a good time is had by all.I highly recommend visiting and supporting the Lutcher Theater.Kudos to the management for getting the best shows and acts to Texas.

I love this little theater, my mom and I went and saw the Blue Man Group, it was alot of fun!! Always lpoking to see what is coming.town next.

Nice small town theater, fairly easy access for big rigs bringing in shows/loading out.

I absolutely love the Lutcher Theater and have seen two performances in the last week and will be attending another one next week. Jim Clark and Lynae Sanford work hard each year to bring quality shows to Orange County. They not only bring world class adult shows, but they also put together the best childrens series in the south.

My son had a field trip here to see The Ugly Duckling, the show was great! All the kids loved it! It was very clean, and seating was comfortable.
