What a fun place this is! I took my 6yr old son here for the Halloween event. They had ponies, train ride, big paddle boats & bike rentals! So much to do here & fairly priced. Staff was super friendly as well.. Very cool park to go to w family & spend the day.

Its a nice place, you can do a lot of things here, it is a place where children will have a lot of fun.

I really enjoy going to Irvine Railroad Park! Its a great way to spend family time outdoors, with plenty to do besides just walking around. Going on the railroad ride is a must every time! Fall is my favorite time of year to go because they have the pumpkin patch. Theyve also adapted to the current COVID climate and while they arent requiring masks anymore for guests, the staff wear them and they sanitize in between each train ride.

Totally awesome Xmas train ride experience with the kids and family. Wait times were longer than our reserved time but the decorations and experience were on point and well worth it!

There is plexiglass separating each car and some individual seating has plexiglass. They use some sort of sanitizer to spray down all the train cars in between rides.

My family and I had a blast we went hiking we rented a bike for the family for $40 for 1 hour they have water bikes for 20 a half an hour they have pony rides for $6 they have a train ride for $6 they have places where you can have barbecues they have a free playground for kids they have a zoo for $2 a child they have a snack bar there hope you enjoy your experience care let me know about it.

Love the place first time doing the horse ride it cost you $6, railroad ride is $6 too. We rent the boat ride as well is $20 for 30mins. Max of 2 adults or 1 adult and 2 kids. Bike rentals are also available, single or up 4 riders bikes. They have a refreshment place, they serve coffee, ice cream, Sodas, popsicles hamburgers and hotdogs. The zoo is right next to it. Friendly. Entry is just $3. Peacock can sight all around the park. Plenty of green area. Grill are available and picnic tables can be spot everywhere. For just a time of relaxing or family time this is the perfect place to go.

I really liked the urban light installation outside the Irvine Park Railroad. I like how symmetrical the installation is but also how there is a lot of variety in the lamp fixtures as well as the posts. Of course theres a really cool place to take photos or get your selfie but I can really appreciate the hard work that went into installing the whole project.

The train ride is fun for familys. Long wait due to pumpkin patch. Cost $6.00 per person. Infants 12 months and younger are free. After each group rides staff steam cleans the train. Open as of October 2020.

I took my family out here Saturday, September 26, 2020. The country’s in a middle of pandemic with so many Americans refusing to acknowledge the disease, but at Irvine Park Railroad they were complying. It was so refreshing to see so many wearing the masks, social distancing and just looking out for each other. Thank you ... We’ll be back.Highly recommended

Paul at the pony ride and his staff were great treated my little girl like she was family. They made sure her first pony ride was magical. The guys at the train station were Also very nice. Cleaned everything between rids and made sure everyones was safe.

What a magical little place. I remember coming here as a kid to go the petting zoo. I didnt remember much else until I went to the Irvine Park Railroad For Adults night hosted by Oaklandish. I remember seeing Oaklandish t-shirts but I had no idea they hosted fundraisers.

Great for our 5 year old granddaughter. Best to go early especially for the train and zoo to avoid long lines. Zoo opens later than the park activities.

Love coming to this park. This years pumpkin patch, during Covid times, was definitely a bit different - but really happy they had anything going on at all!

Irvine regional park is an incredible park. They have a train ride, pony rides, quad bike for 2-4 people, paddle boat, picnic areas, pumpkin patch area, and much more. My family really enjoyed this place. We will be going there often.

Fun tim here with the kids. During this Pandemic, they were very accommodating in every ride/exhibit. The kids enjoyed the train ride, hay ride and pony ride.

Goes without saying,we love irvine park so.much to do. Bought a couple of pumpkins, worked out at the outdoor gym. Went to the zoo, rode the train . Just had a great morning

Great park, they have ponies and trains and a zoo. Had my daughters birthday party there and everyone had a great time. There is an entrance fee but they take credit card.

The kids love the train ride. Its $6.00 a person kids and adults. Its about 10 minutes long. And they give you fun facts about the park.

My grand daughter and I love to go to Irvine Park and ride the train and see the horses. We like to walk the grounds and lakes with ducks. Great family place.

I checked on Google to see if the zoo was open today and they had it as it was and I got there and they werent open so that was really inconvenient.

Go early because the lines get long for the train. Its a lovely ride.

My little ones loved going on the train, and the conductor was funny. I would compare it like a ride at Disneyland. Short, enjoyable, and informative.

We rented a four person bike, it was fun and a good work out.

We had a great time visiting the park. Its a nice place to spend the day with the family. Multiple things to do so you dont get bored. The staff were friendly and the park was kept very clean. And its not to expensive, will definitely visit again.

The Christmas lights are amazing but the Great Pumpkin weight off in September is so much fun. It’s a must do if you like Halloween! The growers are fun to meet, the stories are great to listen too and a great Instagram opportunities! There are 1,000’s of pumpkins too walk through.

Nice place. A bit of a snaffu with them saying the train tickets are sold out, but the train Appeared to be running empty. There is obviously more to what meets the eye, they opened up a few tickets and we were able to enjoy the ride and Santas village. Amazing hot chocolate.

Train rides start at 10 am and cost $6 per person, for both adults and children. They do a wonderful job of maintaining social distance and safety due to covid-19 including; plexiglass partitions between cars and sanitizing before and after each train departure.

Christmas train is awesome. We do this every yr. Tickets sell out quick though. They charge for parking during the day but its not over priced. The zoo is small but still interesting. All animals are indigenous to the area. Many playgrounds and walking trails. Lake fishing, snack bars, rental shop. Very nice park.

We love Irvine park railroad located inside of Irvine park. There are so many seasonal activities but the best part is you can go down and ride the train any time of year. The seasonal festivities are so much fun and really bring a unique twist to a family outing during a holiday. A must visit is during Easter time, Halloween time, Christmas time, and of course we love any time of year but during seasonal festivities they have extra games, cookie decorating, themed photo opportunities and special events!

All the staff is so patient, knowledgeable of their jobs and very friendly. They are a huge part of why we keep coming back!

This is a fun family place by with so much to offer at reasonable rates. Weve ridden the railroad twice now, gone to the zoo and enjoyed a couple of the playgrounds. There are beautiful wide open spaces to run and play, and leashed dogs are welcome. Ample picnic areas including grills and seating are also available.

This place is very cold in Southern California my whole life. I am 50 years old was not aware of this place. My wife and I took the grandson there had a great day. Lots of shade trees lots of benches very quiet really big. The train ride was cool. The baby really liked it.

There is so much to do here and it is very well maintained. The park staff is fantastic. They are always friendly and helpful. A few favorite activities for my family include riding the train, trotting ponies, Surrey bikes, the zoo, the nature center, and having a picnic at one of the countless shaded areas in the park. It is only $3 to park, $5/ea to ride the train and ponies, and you can often find specials through Groupon on the Surrey bikes. You can easily make a day out of visiting the park and exploring.

This park have lots of goodies for young and old people. Lots of space to play sport or just to chill. Food and drinks available.

Beautiful experience tonight for the first time we attended the Christmas train. Its awesome to see Santa Claus and Mrs. ClausWe took pictures with them and walk around taking pictures at the fantastic Christmas decorations. The family really enjoyed it.And yes we took a train ride, loved it

Fun place to bring your little one. October they have really good pumpkin patch with a lot of things to do for kids. Games, cookie decorating, face painting by witches etc. Beautiful park where you can just hang around and grill with friends or take your kids to a safe playground.Plus, they have small farmers market on Tuesdays.

Had such a good time with my grandchildren. Staff are so friendly and cheerful. I will divinity be back and highly recommend it to my friends and family.

This little park is so cool. Lots of picnic areas spread out over the property, fishing pond, with boat rentals, and the OC Zoo! The zoo is fantastic and super affordable.

Great park. Lots of fun for the family. A great place to see Santa. You get to take atrain ride to see him and when you get back from seeing santa you get to play in Santas village which has games and toys. Halloween is great to and so is the pumpkin patch. People are super friendly

My kids love coming here. They have an Easter egg hunt that we go to every year and have a great time. Always a good time when we go here.

It broke right when it was our turn. Kids were totally bummed. They were very professional and apologetic about it.

Its a place where time has stood still. Not old, not new, but homey with beautiful trees and natural foliage that has not been shaped into boxes... if you know what I mean. It is a perfect place to spend the day with your family or friends. You can actually have a quiet conversation without the TV on in the background. The employees are very helpful and polite as well. I will return.

Usually the Irvine Park Railroad is a good time however I was disappointed with their Christmas train. Halfway through the ride they drop you off to meet Santa. The line can get long and there really isnt much to do other than a snack bar.
