My son has had an excellent experience with Kansas Rush Soccer. His skills have definitely improved, and his team has enjoyed a lot of success, including winning the State Cup in 2018. In addition, he has made many close friends. His team has a great time together, which is fun to watch. Our coach, Randall Porter, is well-respected by the boys. He pushes them to get better, always in a positive way. Randall is one of the best coaches my son has had.I would suggest Kansas Rush to anyone who would like to have their child getter better at soccer and have fun at the same time.

Our daughter has played for Kansas Rush for several years, we were excited to become part of the Rush family. Our objective was to find a soccer club where she could learn and excel. She continues to develop her soccer skills while also learning to work together as a team. We wanted a competitive environment to challenge her, and it has made her a better player. She has had amazing opportunities to play against and with other Rush teams from across the United States requiring her to step outside her comfort zone and become more responsible. Our focus is our daughter and it has always been her choice to play with Kansas Rush.

Our daughter joined Kansas Rush a few years ago. In sports, our goal for our children has always been for them to continue to develop and improve their skills and abilities, so that they have the opportunity to excel in that sport if they choose. Kansas Rush has allowed our daughter that opportunity. Kansas Rush creates a superior learning environment while emphasizing team and family. They recently built a new indoor facility, which has been great to have during these cold winter months for practices and games. I highly encourage anyone who is looking for a soccer family to check out Kansas Rush!

My son has played competitive soccer now for various clubs for 9 years ultimately landing at the Kansas Rush Soccer Club for the last 5 plus years. I really could not be happier with the club! The coaches we have had are very knowledgeable and have been instrumental in the development of my sons skill of the game. Over the years, I have seen continual improvements within the club; a dedicated goalie coach, improvements to the Lone Elm facilities, construction of indoor facilities... just to name a few off the top of my head. The club has teams for all levels and if you are looking for a club in the Kansas City area, I would encourage anyone to take a look a Kansas Rush.

I am a huge fan of this club, its coaches and its technical director. My daughter has played with the club for several years and has had a great experience. She has received some of the best coaching in the country. She has improved significantly over the years and her team has become very successful. Coaches hold their players accountable by challenging them to work hard and really learn the game.Additionally, I have witnessed the technical director make personal sacrifices for players in this club. He really cares about the kids and strives to make them better. This reinforces the family atmosphere of the club.

This facility is new and it is fresh and clean . I am not excited about the parking or the lack of seating available. You have to stand the whole game . I would bring a chair but there is no room for chairs in this place. If you had a grandparent or an person who needed to sit it would be impossible . Not a well designed layout format at all.

Where to begin...I LOVE the KS Rush Soccer Club and what they stand for. This club is has become part of our extended family from the director, to coaches, to players. They practice what they preach and truly have the individual players best interest in mind. The coaches have years of experience and provide players the tools they need to succeed both off and on the field. They teach respect and teamwork and this is evident in the way their teams conduct themselves during games. We have been very happy with our experiences here!

I have 3 current players at Rush and 1 in college who played for Rush in his last year. This club has become second family to us. My children have been members of 4 other clubs over the past 13 years and have decided to call this club home. The level of coaching my children have received, has been nothing short of excellent. The coaches take an active interest in the children they coach and truly want them to succeed at a high level.

If I could have rated lower than 1 star I would have. The Club promises on so much, yet delivers on so little.Kansas Rush is riddled with nepotism from top to bottom. The amount of favoritism that goes on in this Club is ridiculous. Board members and coaches kids are given all of the advantages over other deserving players. The political game that happens within this Club is crazy. Parents, team managers and coaches are all angling themselves to create this circle of power. The overall talent pool is not that good at Rush. Outside of a couple good teams, the majority of the teams at this club are D3 and lower and arent even that competitive. As for coaches, there are maybe 3-4 that are good. The rest are nothing more than glorified recreational coaches. Several coaches have been allowed to coach the same group of kids for 5+ years. If your in the market for your young ones to enter competitive soccer, do yourself a favor and pass on this club.

I have played with Rush soccer for 9 years and they have been very good to me. The coaches are always willing to help kids on the side to improve their skills. I have enjoyed every minute playing for this club but I am sad to see my time with Rush come to an end. This club has given me the opportunity to follow my dream and pursue my athletic and academic career at Hastings College. My coaches have really prepared me for my upcoming experience and I wouldnt ever change this awesome club. My younger sister also has played for this club and loves every thing about it. Our family is and always will be Kansas Rush and it is sad to see such hateful people turn it into something different. If you are looking at coming to Kansas Rush, I strongly recommend your kids to try it and have the wonderful learning experience I did!

I’m not reviewing the program, just the facility at 623 North Lindenwood. Very poorly designed for a new facility. All areas of the facility are far too tight. The building is the minimum footprint it could be to allow for their fields. Barely a foot between sideline and net such that players have to turn sideways to throw it in or risk getting caught up in the net or called for not bringing the ball back far enough behind head.Standing only for spectators. Not a bench to be found and there’s no room to sit on the side. Not easy for a double header. Even just standing on the side you feel like you’re in the way when people need to walk by.There is an enclosed room with glass windows that looks like a rentable party room that has about 10 chairs around tables. You could sit in there and pull a chair up to the window but you are removed from the sound of the game and if people are standing in front of the windows (because there just isn’t that many places to go), you’re view will be blocked.Entrance lobby is a pinch point as well.Overall, just a disappointing design and layout for such a new facility.

I cant disagree more with a few of the recent comments. This is the 3rd area club we have been involved with and the only club that we feel is like a family. My kids play at a high level and through the values of the club, they have been taught responsibility by being the ones who have to contact their coaches if there are any issues or cant be at a game/practice...not send their parents to do their job. They have learned the art of respect by making eye contact and shaking coaches hands, thanking their coaches..whether at Rush, in high school, at college camps... after practices and games. This is something that has translated very well for them off the field as well. They have grown tremendously as individuals through Rush camps and Rush opportunities that allow them to tryout for special teams...learning to travel and make friends from other states and even other countries through their experiences with Rush. My daughter, for one, was one that was originally shy and not comfortable spending the night away from home...she has now been overseas twice and has friends from all over the US she is in touch with daily. These experiences have helped her grow so much and its been fun to watch!!! Last summer college coaches flew in for a camp and forum to help the higher age groups start to navigate their way as they start their college searches. I can go on and on. This club is hands down above the rest. There is not a sports organization in existence that wont have families somewhere at odds with them...it is important to remember that when reading comments...especially the rants. Know that there are many more of us at Rush that are very happy! Good luck at tryouts ! Go Rush!

I have been a part of Kansas Rush for 9 years now, had four different coaches and loved them all. They helped me develop better foot skills, improve my fitness level and always provided a competitive environment for me to play in. This organization would not be possible without Daouda Kante, he always shows so much passion for this game and will coach every player to show the same. This dedication is also shown through the whole coaching staff at Kansas Rush. The coaches and players have had an amazing impact on my soccer career, I would definitely recommend joining this club.

Okay, but there is no place to watch ypur kid play other than behind glass? Only other option is to stand in between the nets and the wall where people are trying to walk. Kind of a stupid set up, parents enroll and pay for their kids to play, and like to cheer them on. Terrible set up for that

Our daughter has grown up with Rush soccer for 8 years and the great lessons on and off the field they have taught her have been invaluable. Teamwork, hard work, discipline, self responsibility, communication skills, and having fun! The staff and coaches really bring out the best in the kids - Coach Naidu and Daouda have been AWESOME and really helped her grow as player and more importantly as a person. Its not a win at all cost club, they truly are interested in whats best for your individual child. The club has helped her become accountable for her own success by having her set goals and then working to accomplish them. I would HIGHLY recommend Rush for anyone looking for a great soccer family.Jake and Heather Ruf

This is new facility and it is poorly designed. There is nowhere to put a chair near the field and are forced to stand the entire game (some people can not do that). Also, it is so cramped where you can stand. Do not like it at all.

The HYPOCRICS of Youth SoccerThe TRUTH that needs to be told is how “HYPOCRITICL” the Rush Soccer Club and the Kansas Rush Soccer Club are overall. The Clubs promote one philosophy and practices another. The Rush Club promotes, it “is committed to making soccer a pleasant, safe, and rewarding experience for everyone involved, REGARDLESS OF ABILITY, and we believe that all players are winners because everyone is afforded an EQUALITY OPPORTUNITY to explore their potential and pursue positive outcomes on and off the field.” Also, “IF YOU WANT TO PLAY, WE HAVE A PLACE FOR YOU.” The Kansas Rush Club promotes, “to offer the youth of Olathe (KS) the opportunity to participate in an organized soccer program WITHOUT REGARD TO THEIR SKILL LEVEL. To stress the participation, enjoyment, sportsmanship, skill development, safety, and teamwork aspects of the game of soccer, rather than being a win at all costs program.”However, the Clubs practice a “win at all costs” program. If the Club feels you cannot contribute to winning or a more skilled player is available, players are released. I know this to be true at the Kansas Rush Club and other Rush Clubs around the country, according to comments I’ve heard from other families at Rush functions.Choose another Club.
