Has a nice trail around the park. A skate park also!

Not really happy about this wire that tripped my son and fractured his heel. The shelter is filthy and after spending $54 to rent it and another $45 to rent the ballfield, pretty disappointed in the whole situation. City of Olathe, parks and rec need to step up the cleaning before someone gets sick.

A short drive in the center of west Olathe with a decent playground for kids. Lots to do for toddlers up to age ten or so. Tennis courts, skate park, baseball fields, and a picnic shelter nearby. Plenty of trees to listen to some beautiful song birds chirp away. Also some restroom and luxary portapotties on site. The skate park is a real plus since there isnt many other places that offer similar especially for free.

Very good place to walk around.

The skatepark is terrible

Skate park is in mostly good shape with a good design. Does have a quarter pipe with multiple hand rails.

Always a great place to go for a walk or jog in the morning. Local teenagers arent a bunch of jerks either, they stay to themselves at the skate park.

Good place to start out if you are going to learn to skate on a flat surface and when you get good the ramps are perfect and there are nice people there

Well maintained park with lots of play equipment, a skate park and great covered picnic areas. Somehow I only managed to snap one pic the evening we were there! We had a picnic dinner, followed by playing on one of the jungle gyms, watching the boys on skateboards and walking dogs. Quick PSA: please take care of your trash and doggie waste to keep Olathe Parks Beautiful!

Nice baseball fields with a pretty good playground for the kids. Parking gets tricky during game time, so be mindful.

I take my grandson here to skateboard. It appears to be a safe and pleasant place ... at least in the daytime when we were here.

There is playground, picnic shelter, skate park, tennis courts, baseball and soccer fields, and a walking trail around the perimeter of the park. If were seeking out a park to travel to, there are more scenic parks than this one. However, its a nice park for the local area.

Pretty sweet

Lots of different half pipes and structures to skate on. Monitored via camera by the Olathe PD-adds a nice sense of safety. Great playground equipment is also there.

Looks ran down to be next to a school. Needs redone or something but overall okay place to go to.

I went there to watch my grandsons baseball game. It really is a very nice facility.

I personally have been going to this skate park since I was a little kid to skateboard and love it. One of my favorite parks to go to. Great for new comers just learning because the park usually isnt very crowded

Several baseball fields that also accommodate soccer, flag football or other sport practices, a skateboard area, and a playground.

They also have tennis courts that are well maintained and lite up for anyone wanting to play after dark!

I dont know. Im not really a skater so it wasnt really for me. I guess they keep the lawn mowed and its nice during the summer and everything but I probably wouldnt go out of my way to go there being as Im not a skater and thats just not my type of scene. If youre scared or you probably like this place so go ahead and give it a try and see what happens.

The kids live this place. Plus its never SUPER busy so my new to skating kids arent intimidated by the bigger kids.

Nice park, just got to keep little ones from trying to get to the skate part. Pavilion to keep in the shade on hot days.

Its a nice park with good bathrooms and plenty of water fountains spread throughout the park, there is a pizza hut and gas station nearby if you get hungry but the gas station is usually fairly bare for supplies

Love skate parks, and I miss skating with my son. :(((
