Such a positive environment for athletes and parents! They have a Knowledgeable coaching staff and awesome communication. Plus my daughter has grown so much as an athlete and in character. Would highly recommend this gym whether your child is a beginner or advanced in the sport.This gym is also highly transparent! I honestly don’t think you will find another gym in the area as transparent as they are!

If you’re looking for a great birthday party venue this is it!! We had the most epic Nerf battle and got to jump in the bounce house for my son’s 7th birthday! It’s a huge space for them to run and they had all of the tumbling mats set up as part of the battlefield. The kids had so much fun! Highly recommend!

We love the TCPKC! We have been there for two season now. We started with out 12 year old daughter and now our 3 year old is on their tiny team! Any concerns we have had Shelby has been quick to chat with us and put our minds at ease about the process! I’m hoping my girls stick this out and continue to Cheer! If so, we will be at TCPKC for the long haul!

This is our first year at TCPKC. The first time we stepped foot in this gym was for an open gym and from that moment on we knew we were going to be joining this cheer family. We drive an hour to this gym so that our daughters can do what they love and it has been worth every drive. Not only have my daughters improved in their tumbling, technique, and stunting, but they have also gained confidence, self-esteem, and friendships. Shelby is the best when it comes to communication and always makes sure to get back to you promptly. We honestly have zero complaints and I know if we lived closer my girls would be at this gym everyday!! Thank you TCPKC coaches and staff for making our family feel welcomed.

️TCPKC ! One year ago my daughter was at a competition with a previous cheer gym and I went on a rant about the state of youth sports. After that day we searched for a gym that centered around developing the athlete as a whole person and building a passion for the sport. Today we completed our first competition. We finished 4th out of 4 teams and I am ecstatic. Why? Because when my daughters team was on the floor the entire group was smiling. When they lost they did it with class. Thank you Shelby Swartz and coaches for all that you do! By the way... the girls got better each day and by the end of the year I know that we will be the ones holding the trophy.

First time in competitive cheer and it has been an awsome smooth expirience. My daughter loves the cheer pitt atmosphere and all the coaches there as well as her team memebers. She has so much fun , and has learned so much. They have to her to work hard and motivate her to keep improving.

I dont do cheer or any related activities, but my experiences with the owners of The Cheer Pitt make me give it an automatic 5/5.I had dropped off my sister for a tumbling event there and was reading a book of mine. When we left and arrived home I realized that I didnt have my phone, which I knew I took with me. It was nowhere to be found in my car, so it mustve been here. I drove back to find it locked, although I thought I could see my phone. I went over to the nearby Planet Fitness, where they got a hold of the owner.Turns out they were just across the street, and would be over in two minutes. While I was walking back, I saw them going down two ~6 foot terraces to get there as soon as possible.Maybe this doesnt mean much to some people, but an owner going out of their way from their own plans to help somebody they dont even know find their phone speaks to how well run this place is and how much thought they put into their customers.

We had my daughters birthday here last month and she had so much fun. The staff accommodated our every whim! I recommend for any childs party!

From the minute that you walk into the gym you get a warm reception from the owner and office staff. Shelby George is an amazing gym owner who truly loves teaching and inspiring young athletes. She enjoys empowering all of her athletes to be their best both in and outside of the gym. If you want to be part of an organization that encourages sportsmanship, operates their business with integrity, and truly cares about each individual athlete than this is the place for you.

My daughters experience at this gym has been so refreshing. She is coached in a professional, positive and motivating way and is a happy and healthy athlete. We have experienced the opposite at other area KC cheer gyms so this has been a healing opportunity for my child.This is a competitive business in the area so the motive of any negative review should be questioned. The owners of this gym are kind, respectful and professional and the best interest of their athletes is an obvious priority.

My daughter has always had a passion for cheerleading and she has found the perfect place in The Cheer Pitt KC to fulfill her cheer goals. The owner and other coaches at the gym are dedicated and caring individuals with an abundance of knowledge in the sport of all star cheerleading. We’ve been a part of their program since they opened and we have never heard of them being disrespectful to other cheer programs. Quite the opposite actually, they have encouraged us all (parents and athletes) to be respectful to other programs and and to respect the hard work that those other program’s athletes and coaches are putting forth. I am so happy that my daughter can continue to develop her skills in such a posistive environment! We love TCPKC!!

The owner of this company is unprofessional. The owner and fellow parents will gossip about your children and slander their name. They create chat groups to talk about the children and other parents. She discloses your childrens personal information with other parents in the group. This business is unorganized. They are indecisive about competition dates, and expect you to leave your other children and family behind for several weeks for her several out of town trips. If you have ever seen the show Dance Moms, this is the local version of that show. If you love constant drama and childish women, you will enjoy your time here!

The Cheet Pitt is a positive learning environment with trained coaches and a family atmosphere. Athletes are treated with respect while instilling a great work ethic.

I asked our daughter on the way home from a flex class why she seemed more receptive in these tumbling classes than she did at KC Cheer and she said it was “because of the gym as a whole. Not just the coaches but the other girls and everything and no one makes mean comments but everyone helps each other!” Good testament to the gym being built here From the moment we met Shelby we knew this was the gym we needed to be at. She and every coach/employee on staff welcomes (with open arms) every athlete/parent/family! My daughter struggles with some anxiety and the previous gym we were at unfortunately exacerbated it, she was leaving practices and classes upset that she was being made to feel like she was and never would be “good enough”. From the moment she stepped foot into TCPKC she felt like she belonged, like she was good enough and she has even told me the coaches push her in a positive way to want to get better! I’ve even witnessed countless times the older girls in Open Gyms, willingly and on their own stepping up to help the younger girls master a skill (this is what I want to see in an environment like this)! If you haven’t been to TCPKC and are thinking about joining I HIGHLY RECOMMEND coming! Come to an Open Gym and watch these athletes cheer each other on... there is power in positive feedback and reinforcement and at TCPKC it runs high!From my personal experience at the other gym, I was never made to feel welcomed by the coaches or the parents of other athletes. I’m not sure why there was such a disconnect but at TCPKC you can walk in the gym and every parent and every employee there will strike up a conversation with every other parent no matter what team/what level their child may be on. We are a FAMILY!We couldn’t be more PROUD to wear TCPKC!!!!!!
