Definitely family friendly. I love how everything is open and spacious enough to have a view from a far to keep an eye out for your kids while having adult time at the bar. The food was fresh and reasonably priced. I like that the staff was constantly sanitizing surfaces respectfully around us. Highly recommend!

By far the best experience my daughter and I have ever had.. The employees and managers went well above and beyond to insure my daughter had a wonderful, almost magical time while we visited today.

I dont want to make this too negative since I didnt get to fully experience everything they have to offer here...But I will say that the bartending for a drink was lengthy in service time.Waitresses were friendly and very helpful.The bathroom was well maintained... especially a good sign during this pandemic

Very friendly staff! Covid had the place cleared out so the family had it to ourselves which made it almost magical. Very clean with solid food. Bring your money bag because the place is not cheap. Solid value. 3.75 .

We are currently bowling on lane 1. The manager came over and asked that we wear our masks while up and bowling. We happily complied. There is no one near us for three lanes. He looked at all the rest of the people bowling, without masks, and just walked away while saying nothing to them. I guess were the wrong demographic to be treated with the same courtesy. I would take a picture of the rest of the bowlers, but I dont want to invade their privacy. I loved this place until a clear case of blatant discrimination made me change my mind. This will be my last visit. Unbelievable.

I scheduled a birthday party for my daughter who really wanted to go. I researched online for the different options and then I called to schedule and get details, d/t covid they do not offer the main event birthday package- not disclosed on the website. Each child had a meal included With 4 options and unlimited drinks, reception told me they could only order one food and that’s what all the kids get. One child was vegan and the only thing offered was a side salad and an entree salad with All vegetables and no protein. They received their drinks and were thrown away and towards the end all kids were thirsty and had to go get cups of water. We had the room until 9 and they began cleaning up and removing the table clothes around 7:30. We ordered food for the adults and the menu was very limited. The nachos looked , “sad,” according to my 13 year old daughter and the pizza was alright. I went to order a drink at the bar, the guy said he was counting down his drawer and would do it shortly. I waited 6-7 minutes before going back and he still hadn’t done it, he started to make it, I went back about 5 minutes later and finally got it. It was mediocre at best and he kept my debit card which we left overnight and the bartender Who we picked it up from said they typically don’t hold cards. We traveled about 20 minutes to get there and overall I wouldn’t go out of my way for any of it.

Staff were very attentive in the bowling area. Escorted us from the entrance to our lane and continued to serve us.

Was having fun playimg pool with family until we turned our back and someone stole our triangle.. complained to the bar.. they didnt have any extras.. so that ended our evening and nothing was done to make it right.. will never return

Our first time here and we had a great time. The employees were wonderful. I would have given a 5 star review, but have one concern. Kansas has a mandate to wear masks, Main Event had a sign that masks were required, but there was a big group of teens walking around games and prize shop with no masks and no one seemed to enforce the law.

Everyone wearing masks, lots of sanitation stations, games spaced out. We had a great time! Food was adequate... but not awesome. Service was excellent.

Visited for a work event. Staff was professional and helpful. Facility was very clean and well-maintained. Our team bowled, played laser tag, and did the gravity obstacle course. It was a daytime event, so we had no wait times and very little competition for the staffs attention. Food was quick and came in large portions. Prices for drinks were a little high, but overall the cost was okay. Great time!!

It is a family venue. Your kids will have all the fun in the arcade as well different physical activities while you shooting pool and watch all the weekend sport matches live on the flat screen TVs all around the bar and the adjacent walls. They have varieties of draft beer with fully stocked bar. You can compliment your drink with chicken wings and nachos or you can have a dinning experience with the whole family. I went to the place with my wife and my two boys. We all had an excellent time. It would be a shame on my part if I finish my review with out putting my two cents about the staff. Both the bartender and the waitress were amazing. They are polite, friendly and are determine to make your stay at the venue pleasant .

There were so many people in there; many of whoch were walking around without masks. Ya they check your temperature at the door but youve GOT to make sure people have enough room to social distance if we still want to be able to go out and do fun things, and this place was p a c k e d. This is gross and i hope that no one ends up getting hurt bc of this.

This place is amazing! Heads up though- you have to sign up for the zip line thing and laser tag..and on busy days theres even a wait for bowling and billiards. Get the unlimited pass..its worth it!! All in all..6 happy kiddos on spring break. Also..the food is FANTASTIC and worth the price. Kids eat free on TUESDAYS. Youre welcome :-)

Came here for our anniversary, had a great time with the arcade games and bowling!

Went there for a corporate team building event. Tag team bowling and laser tag were the best parts. The food was good and I highly recommend the wings. They do have a full bar so not just a place for the kids. The place was clean and everything went smoothly. The only thing I would suggest is having the buffet line pulled out and not up against the wall for large groups like ours. That would make the line for food faster :)

When we can afford it, this is one of our familys favorites, and their b-day parties must be affordable because weve been to and LOVED about three of them this year alone and my daughter wants hers there too. Very fun, very clean and organized. Excellent food (better than most bowling or arcade places). Highly recommend. It can get a bit pricey, but not extremely.

We had a company Christmas party here. Food was good. Wait staff was helpful and professional. We had the BBQ buffet...ribs, chicken and sausage. All the meat was tender and quite flavorful! One of my co-workers described it as a warehouse of fun. Everyone had a great time!

Great place for family fun, events or date night. Something to do for everyone simultaneously! Their amenities include pool, video games, laser tag, bowling, zip line, ole school classics like skee ball, basketball and they also have 2 eateries and a bar. Their prices are very affordable and pretty much fits anyones budget!

Good place to take the family to have some fun on the weekend. There are things to do for all ages. You can go bowling, play billiards pool, arcade games, laser tag, air hockey, they have a big obstacle course in the air that is fun for all ages, and they even have a bar for the older crowd. They serve food which looked good. I didnt try the food though. Just went to have some fun. You will spend a pretty penny but would recommend going for a good time.

I had to repost and reword my review i literally had just posted it and we waited 2hrs for our marker to ring for a bowling aisle we paid almost 50 or more for and we never got to bowl i asked one of the cashiers how were others going to bowl when we have been waiting for you to ring us for 2 hrs and you said it would only be an hour and a half at most totally messed my mosthers day gift all the way up i ended up getting a refund and leaving the cashier who then rang my marker in front of me and it went off then says to me sorry technical difficulties no real apology nothing was made right i will be going to North Kansas City location very bad first impression for me. The bartenders were the only highlight of my night they are truly awesome.

We went on Monday night where you can pick arcades or activities for $10.95 from 4pm to close. Wish they had a pass that could play all of them, but a great way to have fun as a family. We had dinner there and the was good. Recently we went to Dave and Busters and Chuck E Cheese and hands down food is better then both places. The five stars is for the entertainment and 4 stars for the food.

Main Event is a great place for people of all ages. They have activities such as bowling, billiards, and laser tag and a full service bar with employees that are very welcoming and accommodating. I loved every minute of the seven hours I was there!!!

Great place to host a company event.

I love the idea of a cleaner and more family friendly Dave and Busters. Main Event provides an excellent Daddy-daughter date night (here she is beating me in Skeeball) and or corporate event. Daughter has done the ropes course and loved it. The bowling lanes are not regulation sized. I worked bowling lanes, I know from experience.

This was a fun outing for the kids. Fun for grownups too, with a full bar. However, woefully understaffed. Waited nearly 30 minutes in line to get our passes, bar and restaurant service was slow, and a manager that walked past the long line to get in four times and didnt jump in to help, call for additional staff or facilitate the line. They need a greeter to help people who havent been there before determine what passes they need so when they get to the cashier, they can quickly pay and move on. But still clean and fun! Also on the pricey side.

This place was very clean, and the bathrooms where spotless. Good job guys!

Went for 1st time. It was clean and orderly. Prices of food are high, like theater pricing. Fries are amazingly good. They give you a good portion for the price, I was surprized at that too. U will be back. It was fun.

Its a cool place to hangout with your friends

Company used this place as a holiday outing on a Wednesday during the day. Staff seemed incredibly unprepared for us. We walk in and no one could tell us where to go. Eventually a staff member told us a meeting room and that turned out to not be the right place! There were 45 of us and they only assigned one waiter. The lunch buffet was a very strange assortment of food. Sadly, food including the meat was cold. I just felt like the entire event was unorganized.

I think this is a place where youth can enjoy themselves safely. Im a little old for these sort of places, yet I had fun with the laser tag.It cost a little bit, so if youre down to your last $5, you need to save up for another time. But when you do come, enjoy the games!

Wonderful variety of games and fun things to do!

There is definitely a lot to do at Main Event but it would be nice if they had an all inclusive package that included both the bigger features (i.e. zip line, bowling, laser tag) as well as the arcade games. It was also frustrating that bowling shoes was no included in the bundle price of the actives we purchased. On a good note, the food and drinks were pretty good!

Lots of fun. Bowling, pool tables, video games, shuffle board, and laser tag. Also a great bar. Service was outstanding. Not a place for serious bowlers as there are a lot of distractions and the lanes seemed to be super dry. Great place for corporate team builders, kids birthday parties, or a fun night out with friends. Ill be going back and not exactly sure why I have not been there until now.

All I experienced was the arcade and I did not like the selection. It does have bowling, laser tag, a sky walk, pool, and shuffle boards. Those all had waits on them that our group did not want to wait for. I thought it was pretty weak sauce but Im sure plenty of people have a good time there

Whoever the bartender was with the man bun he’s the slowest person ever to mix drinks and check out transactions. Super slow.

This place is awesome they have good food in a ton of options on their menu. They also have a variety of things that you can including bowling and arcade and laser tag. This place is a little expensive but it is definitely worth it. This is a great place to go on a day where you are really bored and have nothing to do. This place is like a bigger version of Dave and busters with a lot more things to by the way Dave and Busters is still good. This is just like a better bigger version of it. I would recommend going here because this is a fun place to go to.

I took my 12, 7, and 5 year old grandsons. They all enjoyed laser tag. And bowling. The gravity ropes only the twelve-year-old did. The seven-year-old was afraid and five-year-old was not tall enough. Food was excellent. The seven-year-old got his fingers smashed on shuffleboard which he should not have been playing though. Overall. Fun time. My adult daughter and I just watched and walked along with them in the laser tag event.

Plenty of fun and good food. Played laser tag, bowled, and ran through the arcade. A nice time for adults and children 8 & up. Small children will be out of their depth though.

This a great place to come hangout. We came here with a group of friends on a Saturday night. I recommend getting the $20 unlimited wristband. You get unlimited bowling, laser tag, gravity ropes, pool, and shuffle board. Overall its a great place to have a great time with some friends.

Went in on a Tuesday 3/10/20 place near empty. Went to the bar & the bartender saw us sit down yet waited for close to 5 mins to come over to us. We asked for a drink menu, she gave us the menu then NEVER came back. After watching her walk around we finally gave up & left!!! The games are fun but the service sucks!!!

Great play area. Hopefully they will include better food options as they continue to grow. The food option I saw was more of snack/appetizer kind of food.

Love Main Event....had good deals....kids enjoyed the different activities. Only thing was that they did not communicate that there was a private party and would be closing early on their website, so we did not get to stay the whole time we had planned.

These guys have always put on a place for fun. The other night I was there with my son and an young man named Angel went out of his way to make my son’s night extra special.We love the fun memories from this place.

This is a very cool place! Lots of colors and bright lights as this place is truly an entertainment center. I had attended a company meeting here yesterday. They have two party rooms in which they had provided breakfast and lunch buffet style and all of it was fresh. They were very accomidating and polite contuning to ask us if we needed anything and if everything was okay. There was some technical difficulties with some of the monitors they had in the party rooms. However they were very helpful in getting the technology up an running again. This place is pretty neat as they have an arcade section, a lazer tag place, a restaraunt, a bar, and pool table, and a bowling alley. The bathrooms in this entertainment center are very clean and neat. Thier prices are steep in some areas, however they do have deals that you can utilize. If you have some extra money take the family out and have fun. I believe you will enjoy it.

Place is fun but we had the worst experience. Server only came by twice in the hour and a half that we were here. He got our order wrong but hey it didn’t matter when we found out he didn’t submit all of our order because he never came back after we got our food. We payed on the little thing on the table. I had to get my beer twice from the bar and refill my kids soda there too.

A place with many different things to do. Video games, carnival style games bowling, adventure walking above the arcade and also includes a sports bar and an Italian restaurant. There are also different party rooms for events. A very nice place.

A lot of amazing people working there and lots of fun games. it was very clean inside and I loved the colors.

The kids love the place. I do believe they should adjust their pricing and have an all inclusive package that includes everything including activities AND arcade.

Place was busier than usual but, we still had a good time. The employees did their best to be attentive to us even and the food was fresh and delicious.

Had a good time, but it was almost impossible to get waited on. We finally ordered through the bar. Its more for kids, not adults.

Service was really good for both food and games. Food itself was not the greatest. Burger tasted like a frozen patty from the grocery store. Dessert was the special for October, cute and tasty. All the food was wildly overpriced which I had a feeling would be.

Main Event Chain awesome no doubt about but its customer services for reservations or answer a call is very bad after waiting for 1hr 30 min on line none has responded the call not sure whats happening.

I almost had a complete shut out on the air hockey table against a friend 7-1 after this he banned himself ever going there again put himself in the black book like it was a casino.
