Ive been painting with Nina over a year now and shes a wonderful teacher and very encouraging. She really loves art and its apparent she loves teaching it! Ive learned quite a bit from Nina and enjoy painting at her studio. The light in her studio is great as well as the atmosphere. Its always good to have an experienced artist like Nina to provide real help in developing a painting and the artist!

In the 10 months I’ve been coming to A Painters Pallet LLC I’ve found Ms.Nina is one of the nicest sweetest caring ladies I’ve ever met and an excellent teacher. She has definitely help me become a better artist and advance through the many techniques she has taught me. The atmosphere of the art studio is great everyone is so nice and you can tell Ms. Nina really cares about every one of her students. I’m glad I found the studio and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking into taking classes.

I have recently started classes with Ms Nina. I took classes before I moved here from the east coast but have come to realize I was never taught anything about color theory or how to apply paint...Ive learned more from Ms Nina in the 2 months Ive been going to her studio than I learned in the whole 2 years of classes I took before. I literally learn something valuable every time I go in. She is so supportive of all her students and takes time for each individual person. She raves about all her students and praises them and makes each one of us feel so special. I learn something valuable each time I walk into the studio. So thankful Ive found Ms Nina and will continue learning from her for as long as am able.

I moved to Ocala a year ago and had been thinking of taking an art class for a very long time. I found Ninas website and immediately contacted her. I wasnt sure what I really wanted to do and initially my goal was to continue to draw and maybe learn new techniques since my last drawing class in college which was many years ago. When I met Nina and showed her some of my old drawings, she convinced me to try oil painting. I must say I was very nervous to try it as I really didnt know anything about painting. I took a chance and now I truly enjoy it! I have learned a lot from her. Nina is very nice, patient, encourages our creativity and really enjoys being around her students. We all have a great time in class and the time goes by way too fast!!!

In just a few short weeks my daughter has learned so much. She absolutely loves going to class. Nina teaches from experience and knowledge. She knows what she wants from a student and she expresses that very well. We are very pleased that our daughter was able to attend her school. My sons art teacher at his school recommended Nina. She thought my son had natural talent and would blossom under the guidance of Nina. She was right! Nina has a unique way of tapping into the differences of each student and interacting in a way that brings out the best. My 15 year old son has been taking classes for over 2 years and he still looks forward to getting up on Saturday and heading over to her studio. She was welcoming, yet serious about working with talented students. After reviewing my daughters art (self-taught), she accepted her into her class. Since then, she has inspired my daughter to not only pursue art but she has taught her how art can be use to positively influence our community. Awesome teacher of art. I have known Nina Lovill a long time, sharing the our love of art for many years. We have both painted together and taken classes together. Presently I am retired and taking full advantage of her beautiful studio and teaching. Her guidance and opinions in art, and her critiques are a plus. Her studio has a great environment, with both wonderful lighting and natural light with big windows showing lots of foliage and big trees, making it very conducive to produce great art work. It is a learning atmosphere of sharing information with students who both encourage each other and share opinions. It is a very relaxed environment where everyone gets along and the art produced is amazing.

Ninas class was exactly what I was looking for and needed. The moment I crossed the threshold of her studio she put me at ease despite the lack of confidence I felt after 15 years away my from art. Her warmth of spirit and immense knowledge are palpable on first impression. Her students literally enfold any new student to the class with love and interest. It is an awesome class. The studio itself is fantastic as the outside and inside feels so earthy and conducive to inspiration. Nina immediately laid out how the things worked in her studio and that helped me relax. She showed me the Rembrandt method right away and it has made all the difference. Becoming a student of Ninas is making my life round again. I would be lost without it now.

Very rude owner. Decided not to come here because when I called to get some info, she kept interrupting me and cutting me off before I could finish. If youre gonna have a business, learn to be friendlier and be open to when people ask questions. Will look for another art studio now.

In the short time I have been taking classes, I am extremely pleased with the progress I have made. The studio environment is great. Students have freedom to paint, while Nina shares her vast expertise and knowledge. I highly recommend her.

I found A Painters Palette sort of by accident and I was a bit hesitant because I didnt know what to expect. But on my first day, Ms. Lovill welcomed me with open arms, literally! She is a very loving, caring, encouraging person and she wants to see everyone do their absolute best. The atmosphere is great and relaxing. Coolest studio ever. I cant imagine taking lessons in any other place!

Nina Lovill is the best art teacher you can wish for.She will treat you with respect,kindness and love!I am the youngest in her class but I have been learning how to draw better every single time I go there!From drawing by hand to painting the World...she knows it all!!!If you were finding a place to get better at drawing I would 100% tell you to go to Nina Lovill’s place.

Could not ask for a better a better environment to learn in. The studio has excellent lighting, ventilation, and space. Oil, acrylic, watercolor, pencil, etc; I love to see the variety in the classroom. Students young and old are all very friendly and fun to be around. Nina will quickly become a good friend who will reveal the talent you have locked away. I have produced pieces I could have never dreamed of producing without her guidance. I have been attending for a year now! I love when a new student is introduced, so come join us! Oh and theres always snacks!

Mrs. Lovill was my high school art teacher and I learned more from her in those 4 years than I did from my teachers in college. Even after moving a couple hours away, I still make the trek up every once in awhile to attend a Saturday class. She has an eye that can spot problems in a painting that I dont even realize. She is very helpful and attentive in her class. She cares about all of her students so much and really helps them unleash their talents. Whether beginner or expert, theres something for everyone in this environment.

Nina is an absolutely wonderful instructor who pours her heart and soul as well as her vast artistic knowledge into her students development. Our daughter has learned an immense amount and grown remarkably in her capabilities, but even better than that... We feel like weve gained another family member in Nina. In late elementary school and throughout middle school, Nina Lovill was my art teacher. As an adult, I have reconnected with her to rekindle my love for art. In grade school, I learned many techniques and worked with many different materials. This time around, I chose oil paint, since I had no experience with the material. I usually attend one class per week, and I have completed 3 paintings in about 6 months.From working as a teacher for many decades, Nina has the ability to discern each students talent level, abilities, and style. Able to work with a variety of students, Nina can improve anyones abilities, regardless of skill level. If you are looking to learn drawing or painting, or would like to improve, I could not recommend anyone more highly than Nina Lovill at A painters Palette. The group lesson setting provides a welcoming environment; there is a great group of students of all ages and skill levels sharing their love of learning, and of art itself. You wont find any art snobs here! The lessons are very inexpensive for the level of personal instruction she provides. Come join us-you will not be disappointed!

I have been taking lessons at A Painters Palette LLC here in Ocala for the past 4 years. What a difference it has made in my paintings. I have learned how to execute the Rembrandt technique of painting in oils and she has helped me tremendously with composition and color. I have learned to use reference materials in my paintings for exactness and accuracy and I have had great success in the execution of 11 beautiful paintings the last ones of which have grown in size up to 48 inches. Everyone in class whom I have met has been awesome to be around and we seem like a big family when together. The atmosphere is calming and one of creativity and enjoyment, a real escape from real life. I really love to get away and lose myself in my painting in this beautiful place. I have also learned to frame my work and that has saved me a huge expense. Next year we are having a show at Gateway Bank in April 2017 and I am really excited to show my paintings.

Absolutely love this place!!! Mrs. Lovill (The teacher) is one of the most experienced and helpful art teachers I have come across in my schooling. When I first came to her classes, I was very nervous and had actually been recovering from 2nd and 3rd degree burns. When I got burned, my hands were the main thing I was worried about. I thought Id never be able to draw or paint the same way I used to. But, mrs. Lovill helped me grow, she saw potential that I didnt see and she taught me things I didnt know. She is not just a teacher to me, she is my friend, my mentor, and part of my family. Im so very blessed to have met mrs. Lovill and thankful for her teachings!

I remember walking in and being down right terrified I never drawn anything from outside my mind but as I come my art has grown beyond what I ever dreamed and I feel like I have joined a new family I have never been so happy in my whole life about my art!
