Beautiful place to hike! Theres also a beautiful picnic area that can be reserved through the East Bay Regional Parks Department.Theres parking up top in a lot off of Redwood Road. Plenty of surrounding trails too. There are restrooms and picnic tables in the Meadow itself as well.

Pretty nice, moderate trail traffic on a beautiful Saturday. Sites are well cared for, no poison oak, no trash.

Horrible, terrible, filthy and very very dangerous park, you definitely should not visit. Im pretty sure there are bears, mountain lions and coyotes prowling looking for food that wouldnt hesitate to snatch your little dog or small child and eat it. There are meth labs, marijuana grows and bootleg stills on the trails. Armed gangs guard these locations and frequently get into shootouts with each other. Stay away and tell all your friends not to go there.

Wonderful area to run, hike, or just relax in one of the many picnic areas. One main paved trail is interwoven among many other dirt trails. This is what Id call a hidden gem.
