Great trails. Definitely need maintenance to mark the trails better. Easy to get lost. Lots of shade and amazing finds.

We took Edmund Hill woods Trail which was around one mile plus and was exciting. Tall pine forest formed on the bed of glacial Lake Assabet. Sliding boulders on steep slopes. Numerous American Chestnut sprouts. Vernal pools. It takes you up the hill and all the way it was well marked. On the top it was pink ribbon on trees that will guide your path. Otherwise this was red triangle marked on trees. However by looking at the trail I realized that it would not be very easy during the rainy season. But otherwise come and have an exciting trail.

Great easy trail. Most all trails are pretty flat except the Summit trail. If youre in half good shape the Summit wont be challenging. Id wear hiking boots as it can get a little muddy in parts and a little rocky. Its easy to navigate too. The trail markers arent kept up so which trail youre on can be confusing. At the top of the Summit is a Wegmans sponsored trail marker. Is great trail to bring the family.

Nice place to hike w dogs but bring & use bug spray. Heavy wooded area provides lots of shade on warm days & but also lots of nats.

Great trails, lots of space to disappear in the woods and enjoy some solitude. Bring bug spray, the mosquitos and ticks are prominent.

We saw a fox in the middle of the day! The trails are gentle and short. The signs need some maintenance (permanent wood routed/painted, instead of laminated paper that has fallen off). Hard to get lost though, because the blazes are clearly visible on trees. Re-signing the trails could be a great small-scale volunteer project. There is plenty of parking. Watch for poison ivy in summer and wear bug spray.

Very nice hike, clean grounds, good bridges to keep you out of muddy areas, which was useful after the recent rains weve had

Loved walking around the loops with my dogs; we explored for a little more than 45 minutes. We parked at Rice Ave yesterday and up by the Senior Center today. As an out-of-towner, I would have loved a map as I got lost and my google maps didnt work (hard to keep up the trails, all the trees made it hard for my phone to accuratly tell me where I was.

Attempted to take route provided by Google Maps. Not only did I take a completely unnecessary detour to do a glorified U-Turn, but it led me not to a public nature preserve but a mans backyard.
