We usually go at least once a year. Its a small rose garden probably about 3 acres. There is an outstanding variety of roses. Even though we went this past weekend which is late August the roses were still pretty much in full bloom.usually early to mid July especially mid-july is probably the best viewing time..

Fuller Gardens was absolutely beautiful. Between the Rose bushes, cacti, and Japanese wooded area, it was a wonderful sight to see. I could spend hours there, relaxing with a good book and enjoying the ambience.

Well tended gardens with a variety of settings and plants to enjoy. From the formal gardens to the exotics in the greenhouse to the shaded Japanese garden to the perennial garden - each one is spectacular in its own right. Located across the street from the ocean, you couldnt pick a lovelier spot to spend a few hours.

Im not much of on flowers and plants, like nice landscaping and such but my wife now thats another thing. So we were staying in Hampton Falls so I Googled what to do in the area other than typical beach things. Well drive up Rt. 1a and check out the scenery and stop at Fuller Gardens was one answer so I Googled Fuller Garden. Ah now that is an idea I thought ,my Wife will Love seeing being the everything plant person she is. So I will simply say she enjoyed being there very much and I did too, it was a very nice large array of plants from around the world.

Arrived at 5:10 with my two girls, the two women in admissions didnt even let us come in because they closed at 530. And they pretty much threatened they close the gate right on the dot at 530. Rude. Ive never even done a review this is my first but I felt I needed to tell about my experience.

Have been going to the gardens for years. There about every 5 years or so. Was disappointed in what I saw. Being an avid gardener with about on half acre under cultivation with a good size koi pond, I know a good garden when I see it and one that is on the downside. While the show is the roses and dalias which are yery nice all I saw in the perennial and Japanese garden was neglect. The perennial garden is a jumble of overgrown plants with no attention to placement or color. The Japanese gardens which have historically been interesting have been reduced to a collection of trees. Nothing interesting was going on at the garden floor. The koi were colorful and healthy. The water was begging for more filtration. Roses worth the trip but maybe not the price. I hope the give the other parts of the garden a good overhaul - then it would be worth it.
