Being an artist myself, I frequent Michaels for all of my supplies. If you become a member, you earn rewards incredibly fast and they take a significant amount of money off your total. They always have an excellent supply of a vast array of categories to choose from. Im here atleast once a week.

I am just getting into making small beaded bracelets, the bead selection is fantastic, I was able to spend right around $35.00 to stock up on a variety of beads and a case that holds 36 different beads. Its always a fun & exciting time when I go , because everythings so pretty.

Not much to say about this one. They have all the craft supplies you could need at reasonable prices. Theres always a coupon for like 20% off if you look online. I once got thrown out of a Barnes and Noble for shaving in the restrooms. Nice people working here.

I understand a lot of places are doing pickup because of the virus. But pickup took forever at michaels. It took like 4 days for it to be ready.And I bet a lot of the workers there are great! But there was an older lady at the curbside pickup that was doing the orders. Very rude! Things like that make you not want to shop there again...

Always has good sales

I scheduled to pick up an order in store. I went previously the day before to see if they could just process the order earlier. They were rude to me and told me no. Wanted to pick up my order the next day just to be told no and that I had to try to process my own refund. I will never go to this store simply because the employees are rude and they dont care! They deserve no stars!

Interesting stores with nice displays. I shopped for yarn today. It was well organized. Check out was very slow. Clerk was fine, but orders were large. Backup clerk was slow arriving.

Great Place for Crafters!!The staff are always helpful. The store in Normal has a great selection for all types of crafts. I love Michaels for staying open extra late during the holidays! Michaels often offers great coupons and in store deals all year long. Weekend craft workshops are awesome for the kids!! The frame department works hard to get your custom frame order just perfect! If you havent tried Michaels, your missing out!!

Love Michaels Im not a crafty person. I can spend hours and hours in the store. Im the type of girl that wants to do all the projects but doesnt know how to do them. I do however buy allot of stuff for my girls in there they are extremely crafty..

I was picking up my mobile order and this lady literally threw my order through my car window????? I get we need precaution but ma’am???? that’s my stuff???

The staff was not very polite. The frame purchased was mildly scratched but the last one available so chose to purchase it anyway. When it was mentioned to the check out staff, they were indifferent to the damage and made no offer to discount the product which was disappointing. It is a nice clean store with a good selection but I believe Hobby Lobby in Normal has a more robust selection of products and items.

Good selection. Aisles are too close together, not sure why they moved to a bigger location because the new spot is just as crowded.

Great selection, 40% if coupon weekly if you have the app, friendly cashiers. The one drawback I can say is that they usually dont have enough help working at any given time.

Found a ton of great thing for my nature projects from moss to mushrooms to oil pastels for the background. So much more I had a lot of fun here!

Michaels is definitely a good stop for what its there for. It has most everything I ever find myself needing as far as crafting supplies go, though I feel like their layout is not the most self explanatory layout in the world. Most of the time I have to ask someone to help me find something. On the bright side the staff is always very helpful in that regard, though I feel like I only ever see one or two people working at a time, which becomes a hassle not only for the patrons but for the employees when things get busy.

I love the bargain bins. Recently when I visited they were having an unannounced sale and that was awesome!

Went there to get our decorations for Angel Tree was not disappointed, the only problem I had was they didnt have enough of one of the items that I was wanting but I should have got there sooner.

This is a very large craft and hobby supply store. They also carry a lot of seasonal and holiday items of this nature and the pricing is reasonable and they have some good sales. The employees have always been helpful and friendly when I have shopped at this location. Ive never had to wait very long in a line to check out.

A nice selection and always a better choice than Hobby Lobby. Many of the prices are quite expensive as they use coupons and advertisements to get people to shop. Therefore, prices are inflated to make their coupons and sales seem like good values. The store seemed poorly organized. For example, different types of paints were in almost every corner of the store with paintbrushes and other accessories scattered throughout, some items nowhere near the paints. Employees were nice. It was super busy with a long checkout line from the time I entered the store until an hour later when I left. The cashiers were efficient and friendly. Checkout didnt take long, there were just a lot of customers.
