TL:DR:Boat ramp, not for fishing, there’s no playground, picnics here are great, get here early.Google is misleading there is no playground here for children and I don’t recommend fishing as this has a boat ramp. The dock is NOT for fishing. When I see people fishing when it’s crowded with boats and families trying to dock it’s kind of rude because it’s truly not an area for you set up a chair and all your stuff. The last thing many confused boaters trying to get these boats on or off a trailer need is some clueless person literally in the way.The park is good for family picnics. There’s benches and shaded areas. No grills. I don’t recommend swimming here as I mentioned before this is a boat ramp.The boat ramp is really nice however it gets very busy so get there early and return early. If you don’t return early then come back later as there’s usually a long line to get back in.

The atmosphere in lions park is always very calm. People are always visiting here to look at the water, get on their boats or just to chat with some friends. No riff raff here

My favorite place to relax, look at the peaceful waters, people watch the boats putting in and out of the bayou, cool breeze, lots of shade. I can sit in my car and nobody bothers me! I love it!

There are a couple covered pagodas to get you in the shade and a nice boat ramp. Decent amount of room for the kids to run around and a great water view. Its also a great spot to see fireworks on those holidays.

A small but beautiful Park with boat launch along boggy bayou in Niceville. Its a great place for sunsets or simply relaxing the day away. Sports several table areas and enough green perfect for frisbee or other lights sports without being too much in the way. Its clearly a beloved spot as theres always people about.

When it is not busy its nice. The 1 dock 2 ramp design is horrible for our busy boating community. Great picnik area.

Pretty good fireworks display nowhere near as many people as normal this year probably due to the virus.

VERY NICE AND PEACEFUL

Its a great launching point for kayaking around the the bay!! Theres an awesome boat ramp that is split by a long dock. The best thing is that the dock makes it possible to launch a kayak, a canoe, or even a small boat during the busiest times of the day when the large boats are using the ramp to put in or pull out.

A really nice basic park with wonderful scenery. Great place to have a picnic.

First time here and did yoga and meditated. Love this little piece of heaven.

I love Lyons park. Just being able to sit by the water and watch the boats is so peaceful. Its so well kept and I feel safe there.

A great little park overlooking Boggy Bayou. Its clean and well maintained. Lions park has a boat ramp, parking, bathrooms, benches, covered picnic tables and a beautiful view.

A beautiful place to feed the seagulls, watch the boats move a bout or stock up on daily bait fish with the cast net.I grew up eating lunches here with my girlfriend, who is now my wife. Soooooo, I guess it has some magical powers of love. 13 years and two kids later, the woman still loves my not-so-gracefully aging rear end.Do yourself a favor and eat some lunches at this beautiful spot with the woman/man of your dreams.

Good boat ramp decent park. Could use more trailer parking. But no more room to add it. Also would be nice if the bathrooms were locked earlier. Putting a boat in at 5 am and they were locked.

It is beautiful park with benches along the water it also has several small pavilions with picnic tables. The only draw backs are the fuel barges that are there, blocking some of the view and the parking. The parking spaces butt up to the road and make leaving a chore.

A nice place to relax. Many launch their boats from here. There are restrooms too (no soap though).

I like the serene atmosphere, excellent view of the sunset, amazing sound of ocean waves, and good view of all kinds of water activities. I also like the benches and the covered picnic stalls, the whispering pine trees, and easy access by foot, bicycle, car, and sea. It has a good boat ramp and it is meticulously kept. Five stars!

Nice clean park. Lots of benches and picnic tables under small shelters. You can see beautiful sunsets here. There is a boat dock, but I do not have a boat so havent used it. There is not a sandy beach here, but you can step down into the water.

We always have a good time but it would be great if there was a couple swings, slides, etc. For the kids.

This is one of the nicest parks around. I have so many good memories of this place. This is our favorite place to stop for a picnic.
