A place of serenity where devotees and mediators can find quiet space for inner reflection. It is also an education centre where the curious and interested can learn more.In addition to the statues, books and other media are also available for reading and purchase.Shoes and photographs are forbidden inside. The architecture, size and scope of the buildings and monuments on the property demand quiet contemplation and are rewarding upon closer inspection.Stopping in for a visit rewards viewers with interesting and impressive craftsmanship and a connection to an ancient practice.Absolutely worth the stop / tour / visit.

Really a hidden gem in the Niagara Falls area. An absolutely beautiful temple surrounded by amazing sculptures. Highly recommend to visit if you are in the area, it is just opposite to the white water walk.

Would You Walk inside its breathtaking and so Zen. The bottom line is I couldnt take any video or pictures on the inside but I want to try to describe a huge gold Buddha and then shelves thousands of Buddhas it was very cool. There are places that you can pray and there is somebody there that kind of gives you a little bit of a understanding in a tour. Now the outside is pretty remarkable as well and Im going to post some of the pictures that I took its a huge parking lot but tons of statues and very cool music playing throughout on the outside. This is right across the street from the White Water walk so I think its definitely worth it to have the time to go and see that especially if youre doing the bus pass for we go because its right in front of the green line that takes you back south.

The place was closed, I understand under the circumstance they might not be able to open however they could update their information in Google for the world to see. I called to double check and the lady as soon as she picked up just said “we are closed, bye”

The main building with 7 floors is the Museum. The temple is in the building on its right. The parking is free. The temple complex has some beautiful statues. There is a tour of the museum on weekends which allows visitors up to the seven floors. On weekdays the tour is only available to the ground floor of the museum along with the temple until 3 p.m. it is a quiet place if you like to meditate. There are incense sticks in the temple that you can light but you have to place it outside the temple in the large pot. We were told that this is the biggest Buddhist temple in North America. Since we went on a weekday after 3 we couldnt see the museum. We would love to return on a weekend to have a tour of the museum.

An amazing temple with a large space. Beautiful statues in the main hall as well as many tiny but equally beautiful Buddhas lining the walls. There are books near the front that teach about Buddhism in different ways - so those are interesting to peruse. I wish more signs were in English however I totally understand the way everything is placed now. Amazing place to meditate!

Very cool to see, we are not Buddhist but enjoyed learning about the art and culture. We didnt go in the tall building, but the other building was open. Very neat. Our hotel was right next to it so we also had a nice view from our room. They do have free parking on sight. Everything is free to see.

This place is wonderous. The Buddhas are quite small and located in the building beside the Pagoda. There are things to buy and the outside sculptures are amazing. Prayers happen during the day, when I went it was at 9am right when they opened. The inside is amazing, feel free to enter.

We had visited the Temple on the New Year Day 2019. Excellent sculptures and well kept place. We are ourselves Buddhists from India and were delighted that we could see our temple at Niagara. Unfortunately, we were disappointed at the attitude of the Monks and the devotees who pretended not to understand English and walked away. Even when we had made attempts to understand the temples rules of worship - they were getting irritated with WHY ARE YOU HERE attitude on their faces. After a while a load of Chinese devotees had walked in and everyone from the temple were serving them - why this Hypocrisy ?? They are not following the philosophy they are preaching and following. The religion was exported for its great philosophy not hypocrisy.VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE.

I found this place by accident. I needed to get a metal clothes hanger because I locked my keys in the car at Whirlpool Aero Car parking lot. I asked around in motels and stores for metal hangers and no one was able to help me. Luckily a young student from the temple was able to find a long piece of metal and gave it to me. I took to my car and was able to get my keys out and unlock the car door.It was my saviour.Apart from that, the place looks amazing and carefully put together. There is no temple like this. It is huge. Free parking inside. The people there are very nice.I prayed there and donated money by placing money in the box. Do not wear shoes inside. Respect the place. A must see.

It is very peaceful place to visit. There are different sculptures of buddhas. But it is not allowed to take pictures of inside of actually temple. Because of some reasons. The opening time of temple where prayers are going on is 10am to 5 pm. But you can see other stuff after time as well

It is a bit of a drive away from the falls. Still a little different trip from the falls and see a buddist temple. Also they do have a two story high Buddha statue indoors but the tower is only open during certain hours so check before hand. The other building is open everyday and house over 10000 little statues. Also the outside grounds are nice to walk around to look at the artworks.

Very neat place to go and check out. Right across from White water walk. This place is huge ! So many amazing statues all over. They were even giving away free books on Buddhism which I really liked. Kinda quiet area though so you really soak in the religion and can hear the monks chanting. Great picture opportunities too I just didn’t like how we weren’t able to go up the different floors of the museum because we went on a weekday.

Excellent environment. Excellent experience today. After chanting, I ate a vegan lunch, shopped for buddhas paintings, joined the tour of the Sarira Stupa with 19 other visitors. The tour guide Wan is proficient in three languages, and gave excellent introduction of statutes, art, and basic teachings of the Buddha. Very thankful for his volunteer service as he has a busy job. Off course, best of all, I saw the Sutra written/curved on leaves ( original Sutra from thousands years ago) and Sarira ( remains of the Buddha). Whoever saw what I saw today must have good heart or good Buddhas nature. Thank you all. The tour is not available when volunteer tour guides are not available.

Everytime I am back home in Niagara my husband I must always visit here. The centre is so peaceful, the monks and staff so kind, so many books to learn from. If you are there when the temple is open to see the Buddha, just breath it in you feel so small and it feels like power peace and love. Take your time when there, not for selfies, but to really look and listen and learn, it is magical in it own way. Love this place and I am not a buddhist.
