I love that the instructors are attentive and also helpful in pushing you to go a little further with the babies.The locker rooms are also decently clean for a public pool. The best part is the customer service and friendly staff.

SwimJim has teaching kids to swim down to a science. The instruction is very consistent even between different instructors. They are excited and serious at the same time, and very aware of developmental needs of children. Both of my children who are now 3.5 and 5.5 have been swimming with SJ for the past two years. They love the water and are confident swimmers with a desire to become even more independent in the water.

When it was time for my son, who was very fearful, to learn to swim, we tried three different learn-to-swim programs before finally discovering Swim Jim. What a game changer! His first instructor Will was the most patient, confidence-inspiring, encouraging teacher. He got my child into the pool, soothed his fears, instilled trust, and most importantly taught him to swim. The progressive instructive methodology was developed with great knowledge and care and leads the children develop amazing technique. We have continued with Swim Jim for several years and my son is a brilliant swimmer of all the strokes, even butterfly!

Our daughter started lessons at 10 weeks old and she had lessons till she was 14 months. We only stopped as we moved. She absolutely loved it week in and week out. Kyle was our instructor and with his guidance, she became a strong baby swimmer and was excited to get in the water. She anticipated each of the activities and the repetition built her confidence. Id highly recommend the class.

I have had children swimming with SwimJim for 24 years. The swim instruction system Jim has developed is exceptional and the instructors Jim and Kelli find and train are peerless. Each instructor is diligent, thoughtful, kind and fun. This was not my experience when I first tried other programs.My sons, now in college, thought of Jim and his staff as family. My daughter has autism, but that did not deter Jim and his staff. They conferred with her therapists and teachers, and continue to do so, in order to create a swim program that addresses her behaviors and her complicated way of learning. She is a terrific swimmer now and thinks of Kelli as her best friend. When Kelli is away, instructors she has trained step into the pool beautifully.I have watched children (and a few adults) for all these years happily learning to swim, improving their skills, and becoming, in some cases, Olympic-level swimmers, and, in other cases, thrilled recreational swimmers, I could not recommend anyone for any task more highly than I do the people at SwimJim.

Both of my children have taken classes at Swim Jim for over 6 years and they have loved every minute of it. I give Swim Jim particularly high marks in customer service as anytime Ive had a question or concern they have responded immediately with a constructive solution. They emphasize developing swimmers who have strong technique with a lot of correction until a student masters what is appropriate for their age and level. My oldest is ready to try out for a team and I feel confident that he has a solid foundation so all he has to focus on is building speed. Great program, great teachers, and great fun.

Wonderful! Super Skilled and precise. For the youngest and those anxious about water they are right with them every second. Then so carefully communicating confidence to float and then to move. In two years of watching lessons I never saw one child take on water even to cough. They have a curriculum which is deeply thought out. The older kids (young teens) become breathtakingly graceful and swift, they swim like fish! SwimJim was very open to children and parents coming to watch a class (from outside the pool) to get a good feel if it would be right for them.

Weve had a great experience with SwimJim. Our daughters instructor, Kyle, has been amazing. He really pushes our daughter yet keeps it fun. This has produced great results and much improvement in her skills. As an ex-swimmer and ex-swim instructor for all ages I really am impressed with Kyle and SwimJims teaching philosophy.

We absolutely love swim jim. My kids have been growing within the swim Jim ranks and they work hard and it truly pays off. The coaches are amazing and the customer service is really extraordinary.

SwimJim is great. I love that its flexible you can enroll a month a time so you can figure out which months are good for you and stop the membership on the months you cant commit. The actual classes are great and the instructors really friendly and great with the kids. The size of the classes are perfect. Really great experience.

My son loves to go his swim lessons!!! The staff here is professional and kind. My son has sensory issues and they never make him feel any different in the pool. They know how to work with kids of all abilities and make each child feel special and important. I would highly recommend this program. My son learned how to swim in just a few lessons! A+++

Great experience with SwinJim on the Upper West Side (NYC) for our 2yr old son. He started swim classes when he was 6 months old and we havent stopped since, building his confidence and trust. The staff, from the office, to the swim deck and instructors are great and very patient with kids and helping them overcome their fears. I highly recommend SwimJim to all our friends with kids.

I took my daughter from age 4 months to 2 years and she loved it. The free intros were a great service and then she learned a lot about the basics, plus it was a nice Mommy & Me opportunity.
