Dont. Just dont. They conveniently stand near the TKTS booth to deceive you. Theres a ridiculous mark-up on tickets (labelled as services fees) and no discount whatsoever. Youre better off checking directly with the theater box offices, you wont be paying ridiculous service fees there.

This place has to be shut down! We bought our tickets online and went there to pick them up. They sold us tickets with 100% mark up. I understand that you have to make money but 100% mark up is a bit steep. Dont you think?

This company does not hesitate to lie and be deceptive to make your money. They charge higher price and yet provide you with the very bad seatings.I could have booked 2 $89 tickets (plus fee amounted to $104 each) with better seats online. But the Americana Tickets people told me that if I book with them and pay the total rate of $115 per tickets, I will be getting more centralized seats on the right or left orchestra section. So I gave up my much better online seats to purchase from Americana. When I pick up my tickets from Americana ticket window inside the Marriott Marquis Hotel at Time Square, I got the last row with the two seats furthest to the right.When I ask when they can help to fix the problem, the counter person said nothing she can do but I can go down to the main office on the 3rd floor to see what they can do. So I did and spoke with another Americana rep. About the situation. She said nothing she can do but I can go down to Time Square the office where I purchase the ticket to complaint. I said NO thank you but I won’t do business with you again.This happened on August 9, 2018. Good luck if you want to buy tickets from them!

I wanted to purchase tickets for a sold out Broadway Show. They had tickets with great seating. Sold out broadway shows are sold at high prices due to demand. Enjoyed a Great show thanks to this company.

There needs to be a 0 star rating for these absolute con artists. They told us we were getting a 40% discount. We were charged $115 per ticket for seats in the worst section of the theatre - we were told pay now, collect just before the show. When we collected the tickets from them just before the show the print on the tickets said $79. We asked how that adds up... We were told they get a discounted group rate and the $79 reflects that. The other $36 per ticket was a booking fee. After the show we asked at the box office of the theatre and were told he standard price for our seats was $79. Run the other way and go straight to the box office of the theatre directly. If there hadnt been torrential rain we would have shopped around and not made this rooky tourist error. Bastards.

This place is awesome! They got me into see the World Series at a fair price. I liked the face to face talking instead of buying from somewhere online from who knows what website. Highly recommend.

These guys know their stuff, just flew in from Nevada and they helped me jump right into a show. First time seeing a show on Broadway and the gentleman at the desk recommended Jersey Boys, Great show I must say I could see it again!. Going to book a sporting game with them next. If you dont know what to do while in New York look these gentleman up.

Please be careful. I purchased $135 tickets and when I got the physical tickets they were $45 each. I went back to the store to complain but they gave me a story the show was sold out. You would expect this from a street vendor these people are worst. If I can persuade one of you not to purchase tickets from there I’ll be somewhat consoled.

Position there reps close to the Tkts booth and imply that they work with them, they then say you can skip the line by going with them and lead you just down the street. Tickets had a 50% markup, supposedly a service fee which is not itemised on the receipt. Make sure you go to the actual Tkts booth and dont get taken in by these scam artists, their modus operandi is to ripoff and take advantage of tourists trusting nature. Be aware.

Bought tickets for Chicago. We were told they were second tier but were in fact what I would call third tier and had a restricted view. Not impressed. Make sure you see the seating plan. Dont be taken in by sincere friendly employees.

TOTAL RIPOFF!!! Me and a few of my girlfriends visited NYC this past weekend and were stopped by the women offering tickets on the street, we entered the store to purchase tickets for a broadway we wanted to see he said the cheapest with discount was $85.00 and that we couldnt pickup our tickets until day of 30 mins before the show. They do this to hide the fact that they mark up the price- on the original ticket provided from the venue itself said $60.00- they add their service fee which they NEGLECT to tell everyone they sell to. This is a bullshit establishment and they rip people off daily. -If you want to buy tickets go to the venue itself.

This is a lier company using the ignorance of tourist! when I came to TKTS,there employees stand by,seems they belong to TKTS. I asked a girl about the tickets and discount, she told me if i buy directly will have no discount but if i fellow her will get it.she led me to this nearby store. the staff told me ticket of cats is 95$, when i asked is has the price been discount,she said yes. but the truth is the ticket is only 67$,and they charged 28$ fee without any description. i got ticket half hour before the show so i have no time to argue with them. yes they can explain that they never say they are TKTS, but the whole thing they do is misleading and cheating. Shame on you!

I was provided with extremely good service, The sales agent was patient in taking care of my exact needs. The ticket was much less then it would have been at the box office and I didnt have to wait in that extremely long line at TKTS to get something I didnt want.

I love this company! Always gets me the best seats for the best price!

This place is hidden inside the Marriott on level 3. Look for The View. Gentleman at the counter was helpful.

Bad serviceI bought two tickets for the phantom of the ópera, they gave me the price of $80 USD per ticket, but the tickets real price was $55 per each one, I understant they will make a charge for the service but $25 USD service per tickets is so expensive a 50% of the real price. Avoid to buy tickets here, is better directly in the post office of each teatre. Even they say yo cannot find tickets available of course you can.

One star for now. I purchased 2 tickets that came out to $400 and my account was charge 3xs that. $1200 for 2 tickets??? So to my shock I called and I was told they do a pre authorization which supposedly charges 3xs the actual cost..??.. Be aware! Dont be surprised. They did mention that it is an issue but my money should be back in my account within a few days. How very inconvenient. What an headache... Oh and they said if i dont get the money back i should call them in the future to get this resolved. Thanks for the help but if i had known i would have purchased else where with no fuss and waste of my time or my money being held. I do not appreciate being brushed off like it no big deal because it doesnt affect them. So now a rep from americana tickets will discuss with whom ever to fix my issue and call me back. I will re post after the phone call.
