Pier 17 is one of the newest piers that is surrounded by beautiful sculptures and decors. There is so much to do and amazing places to eat. The sign of peace love and harmony is so touching. Then you go by the pier where they have built a pumpkin arch for Halloween right by the water front overlooking the Brooklyn bridge. Upstairs on 4th floor they have a place called the green where there are sections of lawn which you can rent and enjoy the NYC skyline. They also have wonderful place where we brunches, called Malibu Farms which offers amazing food and drinks.

I really loved this place. I went there on a rainy day and it was really really cold and windy in New York that day but still I couldn’t miss the chance to see the Halloween decorations inside the Malibu Farm. I saw some pictures of it and then I was like you know what I have to see it in person. It’s so amazing at night with the water view around it. so I went there and I made a video and post it on my fb page. It looks amazing . People loved it.

My friends and I went to The Greens, and while the whole setup was great in theory, the lady that walked us to our room (who never explained her role) failed to inform us how the process worked in that place before leaving. We had exactly one hour and a half to eat, however when we pressed the call button no one ever showed up. By the time we went out to look for someone and ask what the holdup was, they THEN explained how the ordering worked through our phones only! We were rushed through the rest of the process because they had other reservations to get to. Pretty unprofessional to say the least, management should really be on top of getting their workers to inform the customers on how the process there works. The place itself has great potential, I hope this does not become a recurring issue for future customers.

Pier 17 is a a staple in N.Y.C. I have been coming here since childhood. There is always something to see. Something to eat. This years highlight was the arch of pumkings. With a great view of Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridge Its definitely a Kodak moment.Just sitting along the Hudson River brings serenity. Its a great place to bring the family.

The Gardens is such a great atmosphere. You have your out outdoor space and food ordering on your phone very simple!!!The cleanliness is spot on and on top of it too, people leave the area cleaning crew right at it. Food was simple and great and music was at a nice volume that you can chat even close to it!

It’s fine. I’m sure big events there are fun. Overall it tries to be too cool and trendy for it’s own good. The beer on the Heineken deck is inflated enough that I’d rather go elsewhere. Restaurants can be good but it’s easy to fall into the trendy but mediocre category depending on where you end up. Roof top is fun for various small events and ice skating. You used to be able to go up there if no events were occurring precovid. I don’t think that’s the case anymore. All in all, I’m not mad if I end up there while I’m out but I don’t search it out. There are some great views if the bridge on the actual pier which is nice for a stroll and to relax on the benches.

Great place. Love to walk here time to time. Great attraction for City visitors as well. Close to Wall St., Not far from Freedom Tower and Battery Park. All walkable distances. You also can catch a NYC ferry to Downtown Brooklyn just for joy ride (tickets are round-trip if used within 2 hours), or you can take NYC ferry to other parts of NYC (watch for line signs)

I had been missing the old South Seaport for years but have to admit, the place we are getting now is so much better! It’s very modern and top-notch.They have a lot of free events with this gorgeous view. I attended some great movie nights, sports classes, and block parties. Everything was perfectly organized, the personnel is always friendly and attentive. Summer concerts are awesome and I highly recommend to get VIP tickets. Specifically “The Greens” rooftop at Pier 17. If you’re dumb enough to spend $50 for a weekend reservation to this place, then this is the food you deserve. It’s all middling quality at absolutely exorbitant prices, served in boxes, and dropped off by servers who act like they have an urgent selfie they need to go take. My favorite was the hostess informing us they don’t have tap water, but you can order a bottle for $4. Would not go back.

The location was fun and different, the precautions they took were great, and the staff was friendly.HOWEVER, they did not buy properly ventilated umbrellas and cannot open them if there is anything more than a light breeze. This poses a problem when youre sitting on a Manhattan rooftop in August. In the 90 minutes we were there, we probably applied sunscreen four separate times and still got scorched. It was warm, not overly hot. However sitting in the sun was rough and we constantly sweat the sunscreen off.Everyone else one the roof was complaining about the closed umbrellas and the response we got was, the managers are constantly evaluating the situation.Cool place, but absolutely avoid it if the sun is up!

It’s a cute concept BUT... the margarita machine couldn’t handle the demand for frozen margaritas. The jalapeño was a weird touch to the margarita. The food is pricey for what you get. Only good for bar snacks, not food food especially if you’re seated on “The Greens”.I had sent back an order of their corn, the manager said the the refund takes 2 days. It’s been a week & still no refund. The staff were accommodating kinda sorta & the “frozen/not so frozen” margarita hit. The Dj was was good too.It was cute for a Instagram story, but I wouldn’t go back due to the fact they haven’t refunded me yet, and you can get more for your money else where.

My very first impression of the renovated pier 17 was that it was not as inviting as old pier 17. It has become much larger than it used to be and the concrete makes it less cosy than the old wooden construction, I thought. But I changed my mind after visiting the new building. You should definetly go to the roof and enjoy the view. Its amazing. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Theres always something to do (movies, concerts, ...) so you can come back a dozen of times and still not get bored.

The views of downtown NYC are breathtaking (especially after far) with the Brooklyn Bridge as a backdrop to the stage.Plus, despite being a sold out show (Squeeze) we had room to breath and dance unlike many general admission shows where you’re packed in like sardines. The staff was friendly and helpful and the surrounding location has lots to do.Good drink options but would liked to have seen some snack options [maybe there were but I missed them?].All in all I highly recommend catching a show or two there. The Greens at Pier 17This was an awesome social distancing safe activity in my opinion. Reserve a private 14 x 14 lawn for up to 6 people. Lawn chairs, cooler, usb chargers, and umbrella included. Game lawns also available.Order food and drink (and pay) from your phone by scanning a QR code. Minimizes contact with servers. Each lawn is thoroughly cleaned after each visit. I went early at 12 noon and it was not at full capacity. Only about 8 other lawns were occupied.Such chill summer vibes. ️ I am so glad I ended up going. This was my first time getting on the subway since March 13th. Also first time eating out at any restaurant since the pandemic hit. Food comes quick and in covered plastic containers. I need this day, it felt somewhat normal. I highly recommend The Greens. Pier 17 itself has gorgeous view of the Brooklyn bridge and the waterfront. Places to just sit and chill, enjoy the breeze.

The South Street seaport is amazing! Since the reconstruction after hurricane Maria, it is ablaze with lights that change color and twinkle at night. The restaurants are beautiful, a bit costly, but worth it to be able to sit under the stars and enjoy a meal with friends and family.
