The Big Apple Circus at Lincoln Center What a great time I had the most amazing time all by myself. I felt like a kid at the circus every seat is a great seat. Bring the family, friends or go by yourself. Beverages, snacks and souvenirs are sold before and during intermission. You can even take a picture with circus performers at the end.

To be honest I wasn’t expecting much, but ultimately I was pleasantly surprised. I came with a couple of friends just looking for something different to do.The show was had a variety of different acts and most of them were pretty good. The show lasted about two hours and has a twenty minute intermission.As far as food. It’s your typical circus fast food. Hot dogs, cotton candy, pretzels and candy etc. it’s a very small venue, so there really wasn’t a bad seat in the house.You have to pay to park. The closest parking garage was across the street. If you plan on staying over three hours it will cost you $20.

Feel yourself like a child again.Please don’t expect luxurious environment. It’s is circus at its purest : simple seats , cheesy music , colorful atmosphere ,sweet air scents and simple snacks. The show itself was amazing, the acrobatic tricks are breathtaking and animal tricks only includes cats. Special admiration to awareness for disabled artists : one of the numbers includes 2 gymnasts, one of them in wheelchair but perform amazing tricks , deep respect for that.For the circus , show and atmosphere I definitely give 5 stars out of 5Thank you for a great time

This was a great experience. On a cold rainy night. First circus I’ve been to in ages! My little munchkins enjoyed the show. The Circus staff was amazing and polite. The shows were fantastic. We got upgraded seating which was super cool. Alcohol was served, woo! Overall a fun experience. However, I felt some of the acts were a bit long for what they were.

Fun for all ages with lots of different acts to keep everyone entertained.

The overall show was good but there were some acts that felt drawn out, and not as exciting. Great for young kids, though. Theres a 20 minute intermission for snacks; which includes your usual cotton candy, hot dog, and popcorn($8!!) Theres beer for adults :)

Ive gone here every year since I was a baby and its very good! I love it. The performances were great and they had so many food options and I liked how they give out goody bags at the end. They had great stuff at the gift shops and so many people to take pictures with like clowns, performers, etc.

The.clown is a crazy pigeon who learns to fly and the trapez artists are amazing. Hang on to your seats..my neck is stiff from looking up! :)

My first and last circus ever.What did I expectI feel bad for those horse. :( half of the act are boring I was done in 30min.The good thing was the drink was delish.

Great circus show for any ages, young and old. The performers put up quite a show. Truly enjoyed it from start to end. The tent is heated so dont worry about the cold weather. Highly recommended for a friends or a family outing!

Big Apple Circus in the Big Apple! Its the best way to experience it in the big city. Its a relatively small space with a relatively small ring which makes the experience all the more intimate.When entering, youre greeted by jugglers, a man on stilts and a contortionist; they really set the atmosphere for the events to come. You can purchase all the circus staples before entering, like cotton candy, snacks, drinks, light up toys, and a bar is also available to buy alcoholic beverages.This is a traveling circus and you can tell by the big tent the event is under, the temporarily erected big top, the worn seats, which are a bit small(you sit shoulder to shoulder) and are worn. The bathroom situation is less than optimal because they offer porta-potties and a trailer with restrooms which are for women only.The acts are beautiful and youre definitely engaged with the wonders of the circus. Big Apple circus isnt like the old huge Barnum & Bailey spectacular with lots of exotic animals and clown acts. The only two acts with animals included horses and the other was with cats.When youve experienced the old time circus, this may seem a bit amateur in comparison. Why dont you go and experience it and judge for yourself.

Great experience. My nephews loved it. You should get there early. My only complain is the line to get inside is long but they start the show on time. Expect to wait around 20min to get inside.

This was absolutely stupendous. The website didnt even list the full acts, so pleased with the whole experience. Kids 4/3/2/8mo, had no issues with noises, acts, animals.

Only 2 hours before showtime purchased a Groupon deal for the least expensive seats of $15 yet still sat just several rows from the circle/pit/staging area and was Wowed from start to finish! In modest and humble fashion the shows charm, exceptional talent of both unique skill and incredible athletic/physical prowess was absolutely awe-inspiring. Combined with the cost, cannot conceive of a better value and way to spend a couple of hours in the circus namesake city. Might even return for an additional showing before its close in early February.

Great experience, we came there with two kids, and everybody have a great time there.

We loved the show and the crew, the staff is great very energetic and happy. The show went by and we didnt even realized the time. You enjoy so much. The music is great the performers are very professional. Highly recommend it. Will be back!

The show was amazing for its price. Since we purchased tickets with a thanksgiving deal, it was very cheap, which made us want to donate.Its classic and family friendly. Not a fancy modern thing.The tent is small, so you should be able to see well enough from any seets.The show is for 2 hours with 20 minutes break time.It was impressive that there was an interpretor of hand sign. friendly for everyone :)Bathroom for woman was not too bad because you xan flush and also wash hands. For men, there are only portable toilets though.

Wasnt expecting a lot out of this circus since it looked tiny, but I guess I learned to never judge by size. It was great. A lot of really good acrobatics and other acts. Would definitely recommend and return

I thought it was great! The cats were adorable. The horses, unnecessary. Definitely some abuse tactics used to get those horses to perform like that. Even though the horse guy was very gentle. Its still not good. Just have people performing. Loved the ringmaster and her singing! Loved the pigeon lady! Loved the opening act - the two girls, beautiful and seductive act, maybe borderline rated R :)! Loved the chinese pole act! Loved the umbrella juggling! Loved the act with the guy whos in a wheelchair - both of them so strong. The other acts pushed it a bit and made me a big nervous. Not sure why things have to be so extreme these days in order to entertain. Not necessary in my eyes and its dangerous. Fun night. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thank you!

A must must see! The Big Apple Circus is fun for the entire family. You can see from all seats and the acts are all amazing! They’ve been around so long and every year we love & enjoy it!! Price is affordable and also check other sites like groupon, etc. for special prices as well. Go for it! A.

We went to the big Apple circus at lincoln center.It was our second year in a row. This year our extended family joined us. Although all the kids has a great time and i even sang alot... Lol and i danced the Show didnt excite me as much as last year.... It was a good show, dont get me wrong ...but i was just looking and waiting for the elements of last years show that i loved.

Nice entertainment for the kids ( better to go with 4 years and up ) my older son enjoys and love the show.

I thought they were absolutely unbelievable I cant wait to go a second time. All the aerial acts, the wheel act, the tight rope, the strength displays it was all amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Such an overall incredible experience for the entire family! I absolutely loved that there was no animal cruelty in the show and how inclusive it was!! Pigeon was my favorite!!

Honestly one of the best entertainment experiences of my life. I went with my two children and my husband and we all had an incredible time. The acts are outstanding and engaging and awe-inspiring. I would have gladly sat and watched them perform for hours even with my little one. Parking obviously depends on the city you attend the show in, definitely cant fault then for that but personally we were parked maybe 30 seconds from the entrance on a Friday night so definitely no problem there. Decor is stunning, a really old timey aesthetic that we loved. Food was standard circus/fair goodies, the candied apples were delicious. The live band was outstanding. Id honestly attend every year if I am able.

Every native newyorker loves the circus! All these fugazis that are transplanted here colonizing & gentrifying NYC wouldnt understand!

Took my grandson this past Saturday , in a snowstorm, to see a a show that was compromised of subgraded work visa aliensNot a show for childrenLast years was great!!Payroll must have been cut and they couldn’t book any good to great actsNot one clown!!Save your money!!!

It was okay but not worth the $ I think popcorn was bad didn’t even bother trying the other food .... loved everyone who performed tho good job guys !!!

We go to see the Big Apple circus every year. We were so sad when it was going under, then delighted when it came back better than ever. Beautiful tent. Live music. Good acts. Reasonable prices. This is a circus everyone should check out.

Such a fun family day! Kids and parents had the best time! Not a bad seat in the house! We’ve gone seven times and still love it! I do miss Granny Clown and Bello! They were the absolute best! Funniest most talented clowns ever!!! I cracked up laughing at every show!

Awesome show! Fantastic service. The snack representative brought me a pretzel to my seat b/c they didn’t have enough at the time of my purchase. The ushers were friendly and helpful. The only negative of our experience, and why I am not giving 5 stars, was at the end you can get pictures with the stars. It was a crowd with no organization. We jumped in, like all the people before us, and the female dancer star got annoyed and visibly showed annoyance including rolling her eyes and exhaling heavily at our children. She wasn’t kind. Such a shame.

It is a very good show, entertaining for kids and adults alike.

This is a much slicker production than the Big Apple Circus of 30 years ago and really emphasizes technical circus skills over antic humor. Their skills are undeniable and certainly impress, but I miss the zaniness and spontaneity of the old show. Moments of comic relief are few and obviously scripted. Its all WOW and no fun. Even the band is tasteful and sophisticated. Somebody send in the clowns!

The circus was very limited in scope compared to past shows. Also, the lowest cost ticket purchased at the box office on site was a bit over $40 the same as the online prices plus fees. They still charge the extra fee even if you buy at the box office.

Enjoyable classic quality circus for all ages.

It was pretty boring. The acoustics under the tent are horrible no matter where you sit. The best part was the pony’s other than that just a few magic tricks and amateur trapeze act. Food from the concession stands weren’t good either.

My daughter loved it, and so did I.

It was a wonderful experience and great show.

Ball juggling guy was especially amazing and the box acrobatics and the ladder guy and.... Great show and well-priced in my opinion.

My toddler and I both had popcorn and some cotton candy from the concessions and we were sick all night when we came home.

Mediocre to good show but the 1-star comes for the food. We bought different things and couldn’t eat any of them after the first bite. Unfortunately, the first bite was enough to give me diarrhea. The chicken tenders were fried with something that smelled really bad. The chili smelled so bad and heavy, we didn’t even try it. I hope the city is actually looking into the food situation here.

Very fun time for the family, talented circus personnel, big parking lot.Only they need to work on their exit after show ends, was a bit chaotic, largely due to the crowds leaving at the same time.
