The club has a long history dating back to 1902. Ive paddled with a few of the folks here during various multi-boathouse events (like City of Water Day), Governors Island for the People, swim support, and others) over the years and visited the boathouse from the landward a couple of times and even stopped by during circs and a few times taken a break a little offshore during the winter. Good people, great spot for a boathouse.
