A friend took me there to watch his kid play basketball with other kids on a team. They have two referees per game going on and each team had his own coach. It was surprisingly fun. There is very limited seating and there are many basketball games going on at the same time. There is parking outside for I believe $25 and a food truck for something to eat.

Great basketball courts, competition. Parking is $20, which sucks and it can be hard to find parking on a busy tournament day.

If you know someone who plays here often and has for a while, it may be worth entering a league with that person. If you dont, be prepared for the refs and the guys working the scorers table during games to know everyone on the teams youre playing against and call the games in their favor. Not to mention the fact that there are 10 games going on at the same time so its hard to even hear the refs blow a whistle. New teams arent welcome at this place, its a small fortune to join a league, and the facility is on the east river far away from everything. Ive played in significantly better basketball leagues in NYC

A great summer basketball camp for kids. The facility is amazing! Getting there by car is usually fairly pain-free, and parking can usually be found close by.

This place is open to public. Really nice place, bathrooms were super clean last time I visited there. You can hold matches here. They have referees and score taker. If you love playing basketball you will love this place. Its an indoor place but its by the water. Once youre done playing you can take a nice stroll by the water.

Each and every time I come to an event here, I have a great time. The location is very easy to get to and there is usually parking available... a lot of parking available. Mainly the Basketball City hosts structured athletic games, but every once in a while they will have a fun event that may use Basketball as the highlight, or something completely unrelated. The space is HUGE, so there is usually no worry about capacity...unless the organizer didnt rent enough space, but there shouldnt be any reason for that. The acoustics can be a bit reverby due to the cavernous nature of the space, but on the whole not too distorted. If you get the chance to attend an event, I think youll have a stress free time and enjoy yourself in the large space.

Came here on January 18th. They immediately attacked us at the door, by they I mean 2 older black men wearing blue rubber gloves and one eating chips. Told us to get out. Despite being in there because we were told to wait in that building specifically. So while trying to explain this to them they wanted nothing to do with it. Wouldnt even let any of us speak. Just kept yelling and literally at one point put their hands on another gentlemans kid and pushed them out the door. Ive now met the most rude and down right most awful people in NYC.

Extremely corrupted facility that overcharges people $200 for the use of a basketball court for an hour.Their attempt to corrupt the game of basketball should not be mistaken.

The Summer Camps are the best in the city. Hands down! I have brought my 2 kids here for the past few years and they can not get enough of this place. The facility is beautiful. The coaches are amazing. My sons have learned so much during their time at BBC and they can not wait to come back this summer. Definitely recommend!

What I dont like about this place is that it is so far away from everything. What I do like is that it is easily transformed for special events. I went here for a Heineken Event and G Shock Event and the set up was nice both times. The sound system had issues both times.
