This is one of my favorite galleries and full disclosure one of the partners at DeLuca is a good friend. The most recent visit had a show of Claire Sherman and Milton Avery. Claire Shermans works are large beautiful landscape paintings which are essentially ruminations on light. Of course the Milton Averys in the back room were all beautiful and Ive attached two photos.

Inviting gallery hosts wonderful artists who are hugely under-appreciated, like Yvonne Jacquette, my favourite. Many artists shown are female painters, some from the cool Pattern and Decoration movement. Friendly staff, lovely art books available. Always a pleasure visiting.

Been seeing one excellent art exhibition after another for decades at this gallery in several locations over the years and presently in Chelsea. Always someone there to help you appreciate the art exhibitions.
