Beautiful venue and very friendly people. While visiting you have to try Gambo and fried seafood sampler.

Ambiance is always nice. The service was excellent. Ronald was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. And the best Duck ever!

Great place for sailing. My kids are going through the junior sailing clinics there.The 1849 Bar overlooking the harbor and lake is a great place to grab a drink and an app.

I have been working here since 01/04/2018. It takes a lot to find something I can love and this place I love. The place is fantastic. The employees are fantastic. Most days when I work, I feel as if its home. All of us act like a huge family amongst each other.

Decent place to visit. Awful place to work. No holidays off because members must be served. Employees are objects to serve members and not people. Glad to be rid of it and sad that friends still work there.

The Southern Yacht Club is nice. Im talking very nice. Its iconic building is always a sight for sore eyes after a long day on on the lake. Lots of events, lots of boats that people have access to, all around a great club.They even have a gym and a pool.The only problem is its astronomically expensive to be a member so, start saving now.

Now before I start to say anything let me just tell you I have grown up at this yacht club. And I have had so many bad experiences it is ridiculous. Most of the staff is rude and the food service is terrible last month I waited almost an hour for someone to box my food. The reason for that is because the person boxing it was to busy talking to his friend in the back. How I know this I got fed up and went a looked through the kitchen door window. Now I just had another terrible experience there today I go to the gym with my brother knowing the rules which are if you are under fourteen you need someone that is 18 for you to be able to use the weights. I get there and sign in and all then the lady came and told us that you have to have a parent to be able to use weights if your fourteen. Now the rules state if you have someone 18 and up with you you can lift weights. The lady say she will call my father and tell him that we are not following the rules of the gym. So I told her calmly and politely to call him she refused. I insisted and she called she reached voicemail and I told her feel free to call him again. At that point I left about 20 mins later I recived a call from my parents saying that the lady said we were very disrespectful and that we said that we pay her and that we should be able to use the gym. That was a huge lie. And I have to say Southern Yacht Club Is the ABSOLUTE WORST club I have ever been to comparing to all of the about 25 clubs Ive been to . The reason why is because the staff is so disrespectful. Ive been to clubs where they remember your name in a day. Southern well they cant remember your name after 10 years nor 20 or 30. So Southern great job.
