My experience at Joe W. Brown Park was an amazing experience I go there almost everyday they have really fun activities you can indulge in every week or so I go to Archery every Thursday it is a very fun stress relieving activity I love to participate in ... You can come and fish there its a great place to bring the kids to have a family pick nick there are multiple playgrounds for the kiddos and it is very safe and clean there I would 10/10 recommend you to visit Joe W. Brown Park

Thankful to have this park in our community of New Orleans East! It is well maintained and used by the community. The only issue is if it allows fishing why is the foliage allowed to grow high around the water areas limiting you to only the dock by the gym.This will not stop me for going and enjoying the rest of the park.The park offers shelters, play areas, a great track and walking paths.

This is a nice park in New Orleans East. Its got a walking path that meanders through the park, a running track, sports fields, gym, pool, playground equipment, and outdoor activities. During certain times of year, they offer free canoeing and fishing for the general public on Saturdays. NORDC has done a good job with this park.

The weather was nice. The grass was cut and the trails are awesome.

Its always clean. Not too crowded. Most people waved or said hello.

The park is really well kept and spacious.

While I like that this place looks a bit like an abandoned sports complex map in like Fort Nite or whatever, there aint nothing at all to do in this park unless youre part of an official sports event, which obviously no longer exist in the apocalypse. Great for drug deals, probably.

Gorgeous facilities. We used the victory track and field for our O-D All American Bowl games. Bathrooms and concessions were as good as any High School! The parking is a little confusing and you can end up going in circles if you dont know that there are large Lots if you keep going straight back!

The track here is much better than City Parks and you dont have to worry about people having their dumb dogs off the leash in the workout areas!!!

I attended a yoga & aerobics class with my mother & sister...we really enjoyed it! the instructor was great & the music was fun! we will definitely be back!

Fun,. Not enough play space for the smallkids. Come on yall 2 swings, no baby swing one slide set. No very accommodating.

Very nice park. I just wished there was some shade by the football stands. Bring your umbrellas and drinks if your watching a game in the summertime.

Nice place to work out. Plus they have well maintained tennis courts.

Love going to Joe Brown so many activities you can do no one have to stay home unless they want to

Joe Brown park has really improved since my childhood. The Outdoors experiences- canoeing, fishing, hiking, and camping are superb for beginners. They have everything you need; just bring yourself and get in touch with nature. You can also enjoy several other sports such as tennis, track, baseball, basketball, and swimming. Ample parking and innovative playgrounds.

They ran out of mask to early but was able to get case water very thankful

It needs physical security cameras are good too and some more play ground for toddlers

Good morning work out

Has a trail for walking and a good track for running. Last month I saw two alligators in the pond.

Love this park. It’s so clean and very pretty. There are a lot of green spaces and many fun things to do like tennis. The trail and the track field are my favorite.

Walking the walking trail and also water Aerobics. I enjoyed myself, the work out was intense but we had fun!!! Loved It!!

Theres not enough playground equipment to accommodate the number and different ages of kids that frequently there .Heritage park in Slidell is a much better park !

Lots of activities, very active park for youth and adults. Something for everyone

The security was oddly rude and controlling, During the McMain vs. Carver Game. Definitely dont understand the reasoning behind seating arrangements. The guest was very upset after being moved several times. I dont have any future plans of returning. Its unfortunate.

Went there on 13 June 2020 water looked yucky. Doesn’t look like any fish could live in it. Grass was high all around it. Park rundown. A lot of people walking. Sucks drove from gulfport.

Possibly one of THE BEST parks in the entire city. Its easily accessible from the major roads, not far from the interstate, beautiful scenery and nature scenes, plenty restrooms (even though you have to bring your OWN soap because they NEVER have any), plenty covered picnic areas, boat and fishing lessons free, huge rec center, plenty benches to sit and watch nature, Audubon Nature Institute is inside it, plenty nature trails, and an ample playground. They do need to install baby swings though, because there are children of ALL ages that frequent this park that could better be accommodated.

They only have about 4 swings. Need more swings for the kids to swing on the playground. There he about 30 kids out there waiting on a chance to swing. Oh and they need to also put baby swings. For the little babies who would like to swing.

The instructors, water aerobics sessions, and the time spent in the water is the best Ive experienced. Thanks

This is an excellent park! My fiancé and I had a chance to learn how to play tennis yesterday. Our instructor Kamal was great! He took his time to teach us proper form and different techniques. He was patient with us and all his students, also very knowledgeable. It was a fun activity and we look forward to coming regularly. We also come during the week to run on the track. I look forward to seeing what else the park has to offer.

Clean well maintained, open space, playground, tennis courts, track, walking trails. Very pleased with such a beautiful park/complex. Even has an entrance to the Audubon center (the gate closes at 4:30pm).

The park was very clean and lots of Room to sit and enjoy the Championship Game

They have done amazing job at Joe Brown! Its so nice and clean. I love walking on the track and seeing all the beautiful trees and cranes.

We came in the summer and it was so beautiful with so much to do! Now, we are here in the winter and its very clean, and indoor bathrooms!

Joe Brown Park and its rec is nothing short of beautiful with an array of activities to become involved in. The park is clean with frequent lanscaping.I highly recommend visiting Joe Brown for a picnic, a walk, and more.

So fun. We love it. Olympic pool, indoor bball, camp, foot ball and track stadium. Fishing pond, raft & so much more.

Its a great place to visit and have fun with the family. Great walking paths, swimming pool, a fabulous revitalized Nature Center. Clean bathrooms, great shelters for family gatherings.
