Best Place to Dance on Bourbon Street! The Band is Something Else! :)

What an excellent place, I cant remember the name of this band but if you looking for authentic funk music this is the place.

Great place to see live music. If you wanna go see a band up close and dance all night this is true place to go. Its a dark dive bar but the music is loud and the drinks are flowing. The shot girl walks around with test tube shots, she tends to be a little pushy but she is entertaining. Stop by and check it out.

Love this place. Atmosphere is great. Ive been going to this place for yrs. Im a local and still love it. I would like to mention the quality of the shot girls have been going down. I went on 10/11/19 and got into an argument with the chick because she tried to sell me shots she wanted me to take. When I asked her what other shots she had she accused me of having an attitude and tried to have me thrown out! Hate to see this place lose long term customers over temporary workers

By far my favorite place in New Orleans, that band was great and keep me wanting to dance all night, we tried a lot of other places but each night we would end up back here.

Popped in here because the music sounded good from the street. Left two hours later and could have danced there all night with my Bestie!

The bartenders and bouncers were nice. And The band changes so this is only my experience one night, but man was the band cringey. Watching 50 year old men make jokes about Justin Bieber being gay is incredibly pathetic. They had the sense of humour of 14 year old boys from 2012.

We set up a new orleans-style bachelor party experience for our clients and they report it to us that this place did not treat them well. Unfortunately, because we do set up a lot of bachelorette parties for a private client to New Orleans and we will not be recommending this place again

The BEST club with the BEST music! We had so much fun! And it was right across from our hotel (Four Points by Sheraton) you can literally walk across there.

Ive been to this place several times and there are a couple of good consistent trends. #1, the band is awesome they play old school, new school, R&B music and there is always a good vibe with them.#2 the bartenders are good they just get overwhelmed sometimes.#3 the bathrooms are relatively clean, which is a commodity on Bourbon Street. I wish they would do something different upstairs, appears to be a waste of space.

First time in N.O club was right across the street from my hotel they have live music and great drinks the band was good. I had a great time.

Was told I have to buy a drink for every set the band played or I had to leave. It was crowded and I know you want paying customers but there has to be a better way.

This place is pretty nice. The music changes (this visit was Queen, Bon Jovi, and some other recognizable stuff) and the musicians always seem to encourage audience participation...singing along and such, not dancing in on the bar if thats not your thing! Ive been here on at least one other visit to New Orleans, and Im sure Ill be back.

The warnings about the Shot Girls are fairly true, but they are rather nice.The music and the vibe are great. My favorite non-jazz spot on Bourbon St.

I had the best time ever, havent been out in years. if not for having to go home the next day I would have stayed there all night. The band was amazing!!!!

Great place for live blues! Black Diamond was AMAZING! The shot girls were annoying! However, I dont think they were specifically for this club. I noticed them coming in and out of several clubs. One of them came to me trying to get me to take 2 shots she had put in her mouth. I was drunk but I wasnt that drunk. I did have to give 5 stars for the music though!

Their drinks taste really good, i had the hurricane and they have a nice dance atmosphere. The live band sounds great!

One of the best clubs in New Orleans great friendly people and security guards keeps things safe and the live entertainment is second to none

Always has a great band, drinks are average so stop off and grab a hand grenade on your way there.

BEWARE! The shot girls steal from you. She came up to me and fed me 2 shots while we were dancing. Only then did she proceed to tell me it would be $8. She took my $10 bill and never returned with change. She disappeared and the bartender didnt give me a refund. She claimed she didnt know anything about what the shot girls do. I got in an argument with her and was thrown out.

Funky Club 544 is THE best bar / club on Bourbon Street. The Jagwah Band featuring BRW is the best band / group I have ever heard, very polished and not to mention the drummer...... OMG I LOVE this place. I will be back again and again and again.

They had water leak on the dancefloor. And people slipped. They were aggressive when it came to paying overpriced drinks. Overall wasnt that great
