Took the tour on a warm February Saturday. Started off delayed because our boat had some trouble. We were in the large boat with 30 people. Didnt really get to see much except two lazy alligators. Was expecting to see a lot more wildlife. Even the one at the office didnt seem very alive.

Had an absolutele blast! One of the best tours Ive ever been on. Saw alligators, racoons, vultures and lots of other local birds. Excellent guide!!

Enjoyed the airboat experience. I actually verified that this was the correct place to see the big alligator named vickie. Drove 90 minutes to get there.Didnt see Vickie, the 14ft alligator who is part of the tour. Spent more time sitting idle, too much talking not enough riding.I would recommend Honey Island Swamp Tour.We saw houses in the swamp, alligators, raccoons, snakes, birds a much better experience. And local, in Slidell.

A thunderstorm came through and we were given the opportunity to wait it out and finish the tour once it passed.Our guide did mention more alligators come out at night, so I would consider an evening tour. If your schedule allows.

The airboat tour was good, but the problem is that the tour is actually operated by another local company. Big Easy Swamp Adventures is just a booking agency located far from New Orleans in New York and the problem is that communication with the actual tour operator is very poor. We booked an entire boat only to find out that our pre-paid boat left without us when we were just a few minutes late for the tour. We were told that they just picked someone else. This should not have happened as we pre-paid for the entire boat and the captain should have waited for us. The tour operator didn’t know the details simply because the booking company did not communicate them. We were offered a later tour in leu of the missed one, but it affected our schedule for the whole day. I recommend avoiding booking with this company and to book directly with the operator. This company is not what it represents and it is dishonest, unprofessional and unethical.Response to owner’s response- please see photo for a proof of company being a third-party from New York. I did not threaten a bad review- I actually posted review detailing our experience. It is, in-fact, poor practice to resell the boat when we booked an entire boat. None of us was intoxicated and it seems that you are the one who’s confused.

We did the small boat air tour and it was awesome. Our captain was very knowledgeable about the swamp and the various animals in ot.

My boat driver Dylan was a really funny and entertaining man. Making jokes and talking about the alligators in an informal way so we could understand it better was so interesting. I can’t stress this enough how wonderful it was my first time with swamp tours seeing alligators. It was so majestic and a different experience than living in the city of New York. It had two parts of excitment and fun. Hearing Dylan make jokes with an upbeat down to earth attitude and seeing the alligators. Wonderful experience try it sometime !

Was looking forward to seeing some alligators. They dont tell you you probably not see any, because they are not coming out in the cold. Paid money to freeze on the boat and see 1 alligator for a few minuits. Large boats are limited to where they can go. After the cold ride our driver tour bus was over a hour late driving us back to the hotel. So the trip was 7 hours round trip. Wasted day of vacation!

Our tour guide was the best. He was very knowledge very entertaining he had us laughing the whole time. He let us touch his pet alligator and he also kissed one that was in the swamp. I highly recommend this tour I would definitely do this again.

This was the best experience our family had while we were in NOLA. I recommend this place to all tourists. We were able to hold a baby alligator and I felt very safe with our tour guide. At first he looked meqn, but after we all loaded up he changed into a funny great man who entertained us the whole trip. I want to go again!

We went on a day where it was overcast and we were told that we would mostly not see any gators. I was quite disappointed with that. We did see one which I think has been put in a location by them. I don’t blame them for an overcast sky but I felt paying 75$ for boat ride was not a very fun experience for me.

Really fun outing. Got to see plenty of gators and it was exhilarating flying through the narrow channels at high speed.

I booked a private airboat tour for my boss and they were helpful every step of the way to ensure that we were taken care of and it went seamlessly. They answered all of my questions and really went above and beyond for us. His family thoroughly enjoyed the swamp tour as well!

Went on the small boat with Shawn on 4/8/18. It was so much fun! Learned a lot about gators and the Bayou from Shawn and the other guides who were hilarious mind you! It was a chilly day, so no big boys but they did catch a baby gator that we got to hold. Shawn then sped us through the swamps doing all kinds of fun turns an manuevers. I would come back to New Orleans just to do this again.

Booked and did not text or email me where to meet up. so i assume we meet at their google map location. their tour guide called me 5 min before the boat departs and asks me where i am. requested for refund and they ignored. i then booked from another swamp tour company and it shows where to meet up on their website and they also call us to confirm the meet up location.

The best tour we had in new Orleans and we went on about 6!I had a great time and they know all the great spot to see the real Louisiana swamp. I strongly recommend everyone go visit them to get a real Louisiana experience.

Went down for my brothers bachelor party and took a private small airboat. A great experience that solidified our trip. Nice to get away from bourbon street for a few hours and see some wild life.

Went on the Small Airboat tour this morning, it was so much fun! Our guide was great and told us all about the area and the different wildlife we saw. We only saw one alligator due to the time of year but it was still incredible. Suggestion for those planning on going - dress warm!

A must do for tourists or even locals who dont have the means to enjoy the swamp.Its priced fair for what you get.The tour itself is about 2 hours long with some swamp and gator fun facts.The airboat is a definitely the way to really get to enjoy and explore the swamp, but they slower more easy going boat tours for the less adventurous.Mitch was our captain/guide and he seemed to enjoy his job and kept us entertained.Highly recommend and would do it again.

We loved our swamp tour! Our guide, Ernie, was hilarious and informative and really knew his stuff! He let us hold a live alligator and we learned so much that we didnt know about alligators before. The air boat ride was ballin and we could have stayed out there for hours. Highly recommend!

Went down to New Orleans for a bachelor party. We all still laugh about how the highlight of our trip wasnt bourbon street...but the airboat tour lol. We had a cooler of drinks on board a private airboat to ourselves. Was a perfect pregame for the night at our 4 o clock tour. Alcohol and high speed airboat with a bunch of your old college buddys should be a must before you get married haha

Unacceptable customer service and Joe is extremely rude. The tour was canceled as we were on the way so part of our day was wasted. The reason. For the cancellation was due to the boat being broke. I was suggest find a better company for a tour.
