This is a fantastic venue! Lots of space for people and art!

I attended an art function here, and felt to boast about what a wonderful venue this is. Two levels within this wonderfully aged building. First level has a bar, small stage, facilities, and a classic freight elevator. Second level is wide open, and a staircase adjoins the two spaces as well. This would make a terrific space for many types of events.

We had the pleasure of meeting and working with Connie and Christian, owners of The Building and I must say it was about as smooth and perfect an experience as we could have asked for. We plan and execute events professionally and have lots of experience working with a wide array of venue partners, and working with Connie and Christian felt like working with family.We were in a bit of a pinch after another venue fell through and on a whim reached out to inquire about the space. I heard back from Connie, one of the owners, within about 5 minutes and she was so gracious to offer to accommodate our wedding reception event. They were amazingly supportive and flexible, staunchly committed to ensuring our event went smoothly as if it was their own. They connected us with local vendors and proactively reached out to coordinate logistics with them, helped us ensure that all our needs for the space were met, and were on-hand throughout the event to make sure everything went according to plan.And the space? Absolutely beautiful. They feature Black art from local New Orleans artists on the walls and have created a space that has the feel and ambiance of an upscale private club that welcomes you as if you are in a friends home.We would highly recommend this space without hesitation a million times over.Thanks again for hosting us!

I love the Building!! The atmosphere is AMAZING! Love the art work! Different then any other place I have been to. The owners are wonderful people! Check it out!!

Excellent venue with amazing owners who were flexible and professional. They have done a wonderful job decorating the space and its very functional. I would definitely recommend this space.

I had my birthday celebration there and everyone loved the venue. The owners and staff were wonderful. The place itself, is spectacular with an artsy feel. Very nice, clean, and beautifully decorated with art. I would highly recommend for a gathering.

I was invited to this space for a friends rehearsal dinner and not only was the venue perfect, but the space was so beautiful and the art was spectacular.
