This has been our 3rd visit to Pam’s art gallery. Each time has been a wonderfulexperience! Her paintings on reclaimed slate from Katrina are my favorite. She is truly a talented artist and a true gem in the quarter.

Myself and my husband visited Pamela’s shop while on our honeymoon last tear and this is one of the experiences we really remember. Pamela couldn’t have been more lovely! We popped into have a look and come away with a lovely piece of art work! And we are now hoping to order another piece for our new home as we have seen nothing else like this in England! If we ever go to New Orleans again we will be sure to visit again!

Purchased a nice piece this past week. Loved her style of painting and eye that captured the uniqueness of a festival in the rain! You can hear the music and feel the spirit of the players. So much fun! Brings a smile to my face every time I look at it.

Pamela Marquis is more than a delightfully amazing artist. Yes! her drip paintings are absolutely stunning in their harmoniously colored, irredescent surrealism. I would love nothing more, than to one day buy a car and commission Mrs. Marquis to paint it...using her drip technique and her splendid color choices!!!Her love for New Orleans, American culture, life and more importantly people is apparent when you meet her. We were rudely kicked out for asking simple questions about her technique. Really?

There was an open sign on the door but she was incredibly rude and told us we werent allowed in unless we made an appointment. I dont see the point of having an art gallery that advertises itself as open to the public if its appointment only.

Walked in to check the art out. Was asked if we were there to buy or if we were painters in the first 30 seconds and the lady abruptly shut us out, with her wine glass in hand. Incredibly rude to my daughter and I. I have never been treated that way in my life. Awful!
