This snug little gallery is tucked just around the corner from the Presbytère, on St. Ann. I was lucky enough to visit days before the CoVid-19 shutdowns, and look forward to stopping in again when the French Quarter reopens. Joseph’s photography has a quality of ‘Street on Steroids;’ vivid images capture the heady, eclectic elegance of New Orleans’ architecture and life. His focus is sharp and lends itself to newer, hi-tech applications as well as traditional prints; much of his work is printed directly on metal and the result is a deep vibrancy that would enliven any space. The gallery is a Millennial’s answer to last century’s Art, and the marriage between old and new is perfect.
