Come here every so often for drinks with friends. Recently stopped by on a Saturday evening for a quick drink and was instantly transported back to Ireland. The owner was behind the bar entertaining the crowd with Irish folk songs while a friend accompanied him on the guitar. Magical. You instantly felt welcome and included. It was the best. Cash only, but this place is one of those secret gems that cannot be missed.
Stopped for two beers to kill time waiting to pick someone up from the ferry. Good tap selection and a friendly bartender. Seemed like it could be a fun place. I was there at like 4pm so it was a little slow. Only got to spend a half hour or so.Seems like a good place for a beer and a burger.
While visiting friends in nearby Groton, we stumbled accoss this bar after trying all the others in the area. This was by far the best. The owner sang Irish songs while his friend played guitar, they were really good. There was a wide choice of beers to try, and the food was great too.I will be back next time I am in the area.
