Great place to kill some free time,friendly staff.Not the best i ever been but good enough for some fun,price could b much better(small track)Place hidden behind a storage so be careful when navigating here for the 1st time.

My son and I along with my good friend Lewies went here 10/17 to celebrate both of there birthdays. We had an absolute blast. My son just turn 8 and reached 48. His first time racing and definitely not his last. The staff is great and very efficient. We will be back soon.

The staff are friendly and its a great place for a birthday party! Definitely would visit again. I only wish they had two seaters go carts for kids unable to drive to ride along with someone.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I wanted to share with others the experience I had today. I went with my husband and 2 kids today. As soon as the owner noticed that one employee made a mistake with the turns, he took care of it immediately and respected our turn in the line. While my daughter was driving, she had an accident because she was driving too fast. She got scared and didn’t want to continue, so both of us left the area. The owner Bill not only took care of my daughter and offered ice, but then gave us a reimbursement for both. He was really concerned and provided the best customer service ever! I would give this place 10 stars if I could, not only that the place is great but also the owner is a wonderful human being!

Hands down the best racing environment Ive ever had the pleasure to experience. The prices are great, every race and experience is different and never the same or predictable. I love it there.

Good go kart races, plus axe throwing!

The worst run go karting facility in the Tri State area, no flag system on the race course, employees are not even watching the track when karts are on the track, horrible safety barriers where karts can easily go underneath. Completely disorganized setup when you arrive, employees have trouble using their own computer system. They blast rap music in the lobby, and outside customers are hanging out smoking weed in the parking lot. Was there on 8-1-2020, DO NOT take your friends or family here.

The place is good, all fun and entertainment but a bit costly. Just one thing; dont leave your kids alone otherwise they might get hurt. The staff will help you for sure but safety should be YOUR first priority. Overall good merriment.

The races here are fast-paced and intense. Every lap you feel like next lap is going to be your best time yet. It’s hard not to be competitive here. The staff is great and 8 minute races last much longer than you think.

Don’t even leave reviews on anything ever but thought this was necessary. Used to go here all the time when I was younger and it was fun, now they’re probably the worst go karts I’ve ever driven. They were unorganized and some karts are fast and some feel like they have an anchor on them real inconsistent.

Mid-Atlantic Grand Prix leaves much to be desired as far as a karting experience goes.First, there is the track itself: The track is an indoor racetrack situated in an industrial unit. This results in a very slippery floor and a very short track, taking only 30 seconds to complete a lap. The track itself has no fun corners or long straightaways. Just hairpins and 90-degree bends.Due to the tracks surface and geometry, crashes and spins are very common. One crash will ruin your entire 8-minute, $20 race (whether you were involved or not).Pricing for non-members is almost double the dollar-per-minute price of some other locations I have visited. Much lower value-for-money for what is a much less enjoyable experience.That being said, this place has its good bits:Events are quite common and staff are very nice. If there is an accident on the track staff are quick to suspend racing to ensure your safety.Kids and beginners will love this place. As a first experience in a kart this place will be great! The lower speeds and simple corners (turns) allow them to get to grips with driving with no prior knowledge of the apex, cornering speeds, or braking zones. Be careful if you kid is too young, as a crash could seriously hurt him/her (keep in mind this fact is at no fault to Mid-Atlantic, as they try to avoid instances like a kids birthday party and a bachelor party together).The Verdict: Great for kids and beginners, but not avid racers or even with experience elsewhere.

Carts are fast, boys had a great time. Only 6 working carts when we arrived, so we had an hour wait. Would have done another race if we didnt wait so long.

Just spent my lunch break there....I was the only person there until I went to leave at 12 and people were showing up. I have raced at Arnolds in Oaks, PA and Speed Raceway in Horsham, PA.Its definitely not cheap, but the other two places I mentioned arent either. I got the online deal of $57 (includes $2 sock/cap) for 3 races (8 minutes each). Got around the track about 18 times which is $3/lap.i was not drastically impressed with the track, because it doesnt have a great straightaway and is on the small side. The karts do not go 45 mph as advertised online. Youre probably hitting 35-37 mph on the one small straight away.The staff was awesome, helpful and fun to talk too. I drove 3 different karts which was a little bit of a bummer waiting for the tires to warm up, but all 3 were in great condition and the laps were alot of fun.I would definitely go back and plan on bringing people.

Awesome gokarting experience

I hate this place this was our first time and also our last . My son almost broke a finger and his back and my older daughter got a hard bad mark on her face. And we just spend a lot of money to be happy but the opposite happened they did not even make us get our 75 $ back. They did not do anything .and my daughters car had aproblem and it stopped twice and went so slow that someone could just hit her and my son car was going to flip ..I hate coming I never will go again if you are thinking to go DO NOT .even when they were playing at the beginning they were so scared of the speed .my advice is to never go.

Very professional staff, but 25 dollars each person for an 1time 8 minute drive is overpriced. And the amount of personal information you have to fill out about yourself is ridiculous. DONT BE SO NOSY AND EXPENSIVE.

Fun spot they keep track of your averages and laps and give you pronounce at the end. They have helmets are you can use your own. It has a little arcade so good for birthday parties.

Most fun youre going to have for 25 bucks

I this this is probably the best go karting track in Philadelphia area. This place is not like other stupid go kart places you have been to, where you don’t have to use your brakes on turns. This is serious stuff, karts are fast and requires a lot of work to handle them appropriately on turns. Racing at this place is like a workout session. The only thing that I would say is that the tires in the karts are old and worn out, the karts slides/drifts a lot on turns, but it’s still really good. They should update their carts soon. This place can be really successful if they update the place a little bit, some food options would be nice.But other than that, you won’t find any other place in Philadelphia area with this serious karts, no kill switches.

Took my team there and it was a BIG HIT!! They are still talking about it a week later. Austin was super helpful with the planning and everyone had a wonderful time.

These things are super fast and driving was a thrill. 3 races was more than enough. One thing we tried to do was make a reservation and were told we didnt need one for a group of 14. Took us over 2.5 hours to get our races in. We got there at 11am and didnt leave until 1:30.

Amazing experience, the employees knew what they were doing, and safety is first. I do recommend gloves to anyone under the age of 20 because we tend to white knuckle the track

My wife and I decided to give kart racing a try as our night out. I wasnt sure what to expect. Mid Atlantic Grand Prix def got it right. The staff from the front desk to the race track were awesome. We told them it was our first time and they took the time to make sure my wife and I were ready to race. Fast karts plus great staff equals a great experience. Definitely gonna be back soon.

Great place! I come here often with my dad and have gotten a lot better since we started coming last year. I noticed some of the reviews mention league racing but did not find anything about it on the website. Is it still a thing?

Fun place for a young adult party

I started going to place many years ago. I enjoyed it then and even did league racing. Now its even better with go-karts with better acceleration. The staff is really cool too. The go-karts are well maintained and are pretty equal in performance for the most part.I really recommend this place to anyone up for a thrill ride. Like most go-kart places, be prepared to spend a decent chunk of change though. They have a membership program that makes it a better value and weekly specials.

We came here for a work event as a group of eight. It was the first time some of us had written go karts in their lives. Veterans and new guys had just as much fun. The facility is laid out well, the staff is very friendly, and we had an absolute blast.Im hoping we can come back next time the team as a get together.

Great place and great staff! My girlfriend and I stopped here randomly one day and we were very pleased with the experience. Its a great place for beginners and experienced riders. They walk you through the whole process the first time and they seemed pleased to do so. The carts are not governed and you can go as fast or as slow as youd like. We highly recommend it for all kids and adults.

Nice karts but track officials dont use blue or black flags , employees are not attentive to racers racing on the track. Employees stood in the corner carrying on their own conversations.

Clean and well maintained facility. Only drawback is the pricing, $25.00 for 8 minutes ride. I am not sure they offer discounts on Groupon or any other website, if it does, then its worth it.

U get a free race on your birthday when u sign up. And its worth the sign up. Very addictive especially if u love racing. Plus u get your own racing name and a print out each time you race. Excellent atmosphere for family friends and get-togethers.

One of the staff yelled at me because I didn’t stop at a red light, and I was in the junior division. Plus it was my first time taking on the course and going to this arena, so I was still learning my way around and learning what everything meant. During the orientation the lady spoke very fast so I couldn’t understand anything, which did take a toll on not knowing some of the information needed. They also did not go over simple things like how to tighten your seatbelt or (how) to put your visor (shield) down on your helmet. The staff was okay as most of them looked unhappy and seemed as if they were dreading to be there. But the service was great! I had a lot of fun driving.

I have been going here for four years, only once or twice a year, only because I cant afford to go more. I bring my kids and have had some of my co-workers come out. It is always a lot of fun. A great memory for the kids they always talk about it.

Mid-Atlantic Grand Prix is an excellent family destination. The ma nagement and staff is very accommodating and extremely friendly. My father who is 70 years old and my son who is 11 years old both race in the League and if you are serious about racing this is a great place to race in the off season. They have sponsored the biggest event of the year at the Blackbird Quarter Midget Club for the last 4 years and they host our monthly club meeting.

Do not recommend!!..they did not inform me that my children different ages would be racing separately!...for the $100 I paid for 4 people to race an 8 minute race,,..wish Id have known he wasnt racing people he knew!, and we were celebrating his brothers birthday!....Manager Alyssa..said that just doesnt happen, that we werent informed of the difference in races due to age,.but it did!!...We will never go back!!!

This is my favorite place for releasing my racing passion. Nice management, great deals for member, they use powerful gas engines which allows advanced racing skills. I always race on Saturday morning as their first customer of the day. So that no one block my way... :)

This is a fun, exciting experience for kids and adults alike.

Super super fun for the whole family. This place takes go karting to a new adrenaline fueled level. You can stop in for single rides or join a racing league and compete with your team and even have a party. After going through a training course you get set up to race your heart out.

The employees allow what they call “problem customers” race with you, who will break the rules without being punish and then yell at you for trying to beat them. They’ll then proceed to grab you and scream slurs at you. So unless you feel like being assaulted I would recommmend passing on this place, especially if you’ve got kids.

Great indoor racing track. They e were patient teaching my son his first tinge. They keep drive histories and data sheets of each lap which is fun.

Fun for kids of all ages. Went with my family and had lots of fun that was well worth the time and money.

Great experience! Staff were all very nice and helpful. Prices are consistent with this type of business and i thought they were fair. They dont offer much in the way of food which probably helps them keep costs down. Dont eat a big meal before go carting, you are kinda cramped up in the cart and a big meal will just make the experience uncomfortable.

My 9 Year old son and I have been to Mid Atlantic Grand Prix multiple times now and its always a blast! The staff is excellent and the other drivers have been great sports. Normally we try to get there early so that my son and I can race together, which is an awesome experience!We have purchased multiple race packages, which can help to keep the cost down and will be back to race soon!

Had my sons 12th birthday party here in Nov 2013 and it was amazing! He had been there a couple of times before the party. The staff did a fantastic job of ensuring the all of the boys safety.They first took the boys 5 at a time to watch them race. Then they took them all at once. Having ten boys between the ages of 9 and 11 race could be tough, but they had two adults in cars on the track to help keep things in line.Safety was always top of mind and, as a mom, I would happily recommend the team at Mid-Atlantic Grand Prix!

A+. Newer Honda engines, track surface is pretty grippy, balanced steering and chassis on the 4 karts I used. They check the tire pressures everyday which is a bonus. All the karts are pretty consistant as a result, its a competive environment. The staff will happily give you pointers in order to improve your times. If they hold a tournament Ill be ready.

A young friend was celebrating his birthday

Ive bringing my 9 yo daughter there for a couple of years now. She loves it, and has shown pretty good improvement. She lapped a bunch of 12 YO boys a couple weeks ago. The lobby is very clean and the staff very helpfull. The cars are very fast and the course is challenging.

What at a bachelor party here and had a great time with competitive carting with my friends. The staff was also super friendly.

Everyone is cool as ice, easy going and straight to the point rules of the track. If your feeling angry and need a place to blow off steam then this is the place to go. Who doesnt want do go down a narrow track around 40 mph, get that adrenaline pumping because its going to be a good time .-Scooby
