This is my everyday place for morning and evening run. They have nice paved trail with good elevation maintained throughout the path. They have sitting area and portable washrooms near the childrens park. There is also grill areas and desks. The trail is mostly covered with tree shed so you can also walk in afternoon without fearing the harsh sun!

I had always visited this loop while I used to live in the apartments near it. Today after 2-3 years I visited the park as the weather was great. To my suprise the park trail has been upgraded significantly with new road and new entrance across Park and Ride in Brittany Farms Rd. Anyways during this Covid-19 times I was excited to see some of the beautiful stone are which has been placed all through the trail. There are not many people on the trail, so it was a fun walk for an hour. I would recommend visiting it.

Nice pool, our 1st time, didnt know that swim toys, goggles for swimming, kid snorkel gear or small swim floats are NOT allowed. There were about 20 (not even joking) 16 yr old (lifeguards in training ?) And a total of maybe 8 guests. I had a feeling the teenagers on duty would be whistle-happy... I wasnt wrong But hey, with a low turnout, I guess they needed something to do .. . ...As a family, we always follow the rules, no problem.Were from a big city. We like to have fun at our public pools and are very safe in the process.Heads up- Its totally doable!!

My granddaughter loves it there an thats all that really matters. Hopefully next year Ill be able to take her too the water Park.

Nice park with plenty to do. There is a public pool that is fairly new. A nice walking trail runs through the woods behind the pond. It isnt usually too crowded, so it allows you to be able to enter nature while still being close to the rest of the city.Update; There is now an entrance at Village Square Drive, off of Hartford Road so you can enter from the backside. The trail has been tarred over and looks like it is a bit busier than it used to be... It is still nice, just more crowded.Picnics areas are available for large groups from the city for a small fee.This park is a fun place for a kid to explore...Over the years, I have seen crayfish, snakes, eels, and fish in the park, not to mention birds in various locations throughout the park.It is also the home of the New Britain Little League.

New pool. :) park is great. nice plays ape for the kids, nice river to watch. amazing cookout spots and love the trails. but the best part has to be the pool :)

Fishing, skate park, tennis, outdoor fitness, playscapes for kids, soccer field and walking trails. Something for everyone.

Great child and dog friendly park. It is a perfect place to go take your family to. Park offers Swimming, 1 big pool and a kitty pool up to 2 ft. $4 for nb residents 2 and under free. next to the pool is a playground its a little small but enough for your child to enjoy. there is a little stream with a little bridge where you can deff. go and slash in. there are many pick-nick tables and grills . Newly redone path around the pond i take my son for bike rides. most of the path is in the woods where its shaded and cool.(!!!!MUST PUT BUG SPRAY ON!!!! Mosquitoes!!!!).The pond you can fish in and even see fish from a little dam is.Feed ducks.

Loved the pool ! When my family and I got there, we were able to grab a seat and place anywhere we wanted. Pool was decently clean, but having to get out because of “contamination” the first hour of getting there, I didn’t like. Telling us no food is allowed but employees seeing others eat food and didn’t say anything about it. Kids were not allowed to use floats, which was weird for us.

This covid has turned the experience of being at the pool so not worth it. We are unsure of what we can and cannot do.

I was there to release a rehabilitated Great Blue Heron which had been rescued there a few days earlier. The park is very nice. There are some construction upgrades which are wrapping up which will improve the park and its amenities

Its a great place to go with pets and kids, but half of it has been under matanance for about two years now. This area includes the public pools, which used to be very popular. Im sure it will be much better once the construction is complete but it is taking a while.

Its a good sized park, good for hiking, fishing, swimming, and has a small baseball field. However when little league is meeting up, it gets quite crowded and there is very little parking. As far as the people, most are friendly, however there are those who claim they own the best areas for said activities and will purposely try to ruin your good time. Just something to look out for. All in all not a bad place.

The park is a great place to walk your dog. It would be even greater if some people used a leash and picked up after their dogs. Its an ordinance that should be enforced.

Its okay to go for a nice walk with the family and have a nice picnic how ever it does get crowded pretty fast and if you have kids the playground kinda small

This park is remarkably clean for a public park. Even the pool is pristine. Theres a zip line place for the adventurous among us, where for $58 you can zoom down a mountain at about a hundred miles an hour whilst clenching your cheeks afraid for dear life.

Great 50M long course ....TRUE Olympic size pool. Great for doing laps. You only get about 6 weeks , so get it while its HOT!

Lots of grassy areas to sit. A little stream running through. Some kind of Zipline attraction there, but I never really paid much attention to it. Theres a public pool. Never been there though. Smallish playground. Actually a little too small for the number of kids usually there. Lots of trails through a big wooded area. Places to have big picnics with family and friends. Overall, a few shortcomings and unfortunately, too often the adults hanging out there leave a little to be desired, with obnoxious loud music on the weekends... Animals running around, barking at you... but what can you do. We still take the kids there regularly, on weekday afternoons when its quieter to go play a bit.

We had a great time and enjoyed the event nothing better than a family gathering at a very nice park
