It was great fun at Centennial Park. Did not bring my dog as I had never been there before and wanted to check it out. There were almost 20 dogs there and everybody got along period it was a great thing to see... All those dogs playing with others. Owners being very respectful and aware of their dogs.I will go back there and bring my dog soon. He will have a blast!

A very well maintained park, with a gorgeous view of the replica Parthenon. With a nice pond in the middle with wildlife, a mile length track runs around it, making it a popular place for runners. Pets seem welcomed, although we did not have our dog. This was a main stop on our visit to Nashville and we got some great pictures from it. When we went there was some construction so there was a lot of fencing.

Use the restroom before you visit. I would have rated this higher as the Parthenon is beautiful, but COVID-19 and 2020 renovations in the park has closed the restrooms and it took me an hour to find one. There is also limited map signage to know where in the park you are.

The park is free but the Parthenon is $6.00 and probably the cheapest (but awesome) experience in Nashville. It is the only one in the entire world that is fully restored and built in scale. The bottom entrance is where the gift shop and ticket sales are. If you are around downtown I would def recommend visiting it. Everyone is friendly and the guides are free. They also over tours at 2 PM. Looks like they are getting ready to expand from all the gated off spots and equipment. It wasn’t crowded at all on Sunday around 12:30.

These photos were taken back in March but I am posting them now. This park is absolutely gorgeous. Lots of walking trails with a giant grass area perfect for picnics or any outdoor activity for that matter. Unfortunately the pantheon itself was closed for remodeling but is beautiful nonetheless. This park is really close to an area popular for Airbnbs so it was a nice morning walk. In this park you can find people walking their dogs, ducks & birds in a pond, kids playing sports, and kids being toured for school trips. There is plenty of parking lots inside and all around this park.

I absolutely loved this park. There is a lot of space for you to walk around and explore the grounds. The gardens are beautiful and when it gets a little darker you can see the fireflies there. There is also the replica of the Parthenon in Greece and its amazing. You can go inside and look at the statue of Athena. They have great artwork inside. If youre a college student they offer a discount so make sure to bring your ID!

It was so beautiful I enjoyed myself very much I would definitely go back and show family the experience. We dont have very many awesome buildings like this in San Antonio. I would leave 5 stars but the CEASELESS CONSTRUCTION that has been going on for over a year around the Parthenon makes much of the park an unaccessible eyesore. Even still, the Parthenon is beautiful, as is the man-made pond adjacent to it which has a nice walking path surrounding it. The park also has gorgeous magnolia trees and a variety of flowers and greenery throughout. Can’t wait for this construction to be over....in like 3 years.

It is a little underwhelming buts its still pretty cool. There is a lot of construction going on so you cant actually get up close to it, you can look at it from behind a fence or you can wait in a line and pay $10 to go into the museum. Nice park overall. However, the park is currently under some sort of construction, rejuvenation so a lot of the open space is closed off. Nice art museum in the Parthenon. Really enjoyed the art and history of the Replica and it cultural and economic significance. The Parthenon replica was nice. but it doesnt compare to the one in Greece. The concrete construction is no match to the historic real one in terms of its natural stone construction. Nice tribute area for the role of Tennessee and its strong women in getting the 19th amendment passed.

I recommend to take the time just to go see and walk the grounds. The structure and the time spent building this is absolutely beautiful. Going inside to see Athena is just amazing. The detail they put into her dress, shield, helmet, etc. is gorgeous. This is an incredible outdoor location with amazing features. It has a great paved walking path, a beautiful historical building, a large water feature, and wildlife! For a place in the heart of a big city, it is stunning. It also has a wife variety of visitors, from turtles and waterfowl to people playing the bagpipes, you never know just what you will find in this park. It was THE surprise in Nashville. The largest replica of anything in the whole world. The Parthenon is huge and spending about 2 hours here made me feel the urge to travel Greece and Italy. The Parthenon replica is made in University campus and hence has more than serene surroundings. It was super hot but we managed to cool down with the couple of popsicle and crushed Ice treats just served outside Parthenon. There are several water bodies containing fishes, tortoise and ducks etc. University students are seen candidly roaming around in their scooters all over. You find them parked all over. The huge. Statue of Athena Parthenos is made in stunning gold color. The original in Athens had some 23 kg of gold. The building currently hold art exhibitions etc on regular basis. Nashville is also called Athens of South. A must see when in Nashville. I managed a power-nap under a tree , a bonus for the evening outing in downtown️

This is in the heart of Nashville. Beautiful, green, colorful, almost always buzzing with activities year round.Easily accessible, limited parking space during events otherwise there is ample parking space.Lot of history built into the park. There is also famous Parthenon temple located inside the park.Good lot of hiking paths, only and most notable lacking is the public restrooms. There is one back of the open theater - which is almost unusable!! Smelly and disgusting. Have to use it in case of emergency needs.Overall a great park in Nashville, just needs some updates and maintenance.

It is in total chaos. I have spent my entire life in Nashville. Why they got rid of those paddle boats out there in the pond is beyond me. Unless it has something to do with liability and insurance. You could always make the guest sign a waiver Metro would not be responsible. And all these people coming from other states are bringing their ways and do not want to simulate with the ways of Nashville. Which by all accounts was kindness understanding compassion and most of all good old southern hospitality. Waving hi saying hello letting people know that you acknowledge them with a nice courtesy of eye contact and a smile... but I guess thats too much to ask for in this political correct Society. Lord bring back the old Fairgrounds with the roller coaster the Tilted world the haunted house and the dodgems. Oh well!!!!
