Im going all in on this one! What can I say its, small and cozy, just a fantastic spot to take in live music. You can reserve tables on the 1st floor but IMO the best seats in the house are on the 2nd floor mezzanine.Upstairs they have a standard table height bar top and chairs right up against the railing and this is were you need to go. The entire band is in full view and its almost as if you are sitting right on top of them, best seats in the house! Our server was super attentive and always eager to bring food or drinks to us. They have a great selection of fried bar foods from chicken tenders to gator bites, so good!We saw Stacy Mitcharts set and I think he is a regular, if you get a chance check him out...amazing blues, they call him the Blues Doctor ‍

This is a fantastic venue for Blues and a great choice for something a little different from the honky tonks on Broadway (which are also great). My insider tip - go to the website and for a few bucks you can reserve seats right in front of the stage or along the upstairs railing. Well worth the price!

The 5* are for the house band, Stacy Mitchhart because they are .. AMAZING !!I wish I could leave ZERO stars for the bartender tonight ..rude. Sorry. But true. Work on your customer AND mixology skills. We did not consume the Smoke N Honey nor the BOF .. both very strong and unappeasing. And she did not remove from our bill and that is a HUGE no no in the service industry. So while we may return in future to the location, we will only order tap or soda.

Paid in advance to reserve a seat which I would say is worth it for a good view. Heard some great live music, very talented Angela Easley band, she was a great singer! Also enjoyed the Sax and bass players, the band was very eclectic in what they played and quite funky. Drinks were good and reasonably priced, never had to chase down a waiter.

This is a very fun place. They have rock bands playing and doing a show. On the mezzanine you can watch them with a whole crowd of people drinking, eating and having fun in a theather like way.The food is in The category of bar food and you can find a couple of good surprises like gator and catfish burgers. This looks to me like a very traditional Nashville spot for locals.Good beer, music and food.

Love the vibe in here. Its a long narrow space, with an upstairs spanning the length - bar upstairs and down and wait staff will come around to refresh. Very intimate feeling with the band! We were there on a rainy Sunday afternoon in February. Good crowd and fantastic super talented band with a great crisp sound system. Saw some folks looking over a small menu, but we only had a drink. We will return!

Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar was the best time I had in Nashville. Hands down the best music I heard over five days was here and the place has a great vibe. The bar staff are unsurprisingly attentive and the prices are about what you would expect. That means cheap beer options are available, while a cocktail will set you back twenty bucks. When I head back to Nashville, I will go here night one and skip the larger honkytonks on the main drag. This is a big recommend.

This is a decent intimate venue to listen to blues music. The food is good! We had their fried green tomatoes and grilled chicken. They also have excellent vodka mules. The musicians are good, we saw two different acts. The reason I did not hate it a 5 is (1) the single guitar player was WAY TOO loud. It made it hard to hold a conversation. (2) in the second act, the guitarist walked table to table with a bucket attached to the guitar neck, to collect tips. While I understand the importance of tips and supporting musicians, this fistracted from the show and the experience.

Awesome back alley place. My wife and I are in town because of a convention she has for her company. Im not a huge country fan and found this spot in our search for a spot to chill and enjoy live music that wasnt country. Perfect spot. Straight from New Orleans. Very small venue with an upper level and bar that over looks the stage. Great music. Great drinks. Great service. Havent really eaten anything here yet. Will try tonight. But its basic bar food.

We love this bar! Even though they need to open the upstairs seating more often. We’ve been there many times and had to stand by the stairs and the bathroom and you’re always moving to get out of the way of people coming and going. Visited Bourbon Street a little while ago, myself, my wife and two friends arrived late afternoon and got a table in the upper section.Shortly after we ordered our second round of drinks, we were informed that a mistake had been made, they didn’t reserve enough tables for another parties reservation, and needed our table to add to the reservation. Without any compensation or offering us another table we were simply told we needed to vacate our table and we were still asked to pay our full bill. Needless to say we were not very impressed. Not very respectful to their customers.

I liked it, good music. We went on Saturday to hear Big Monti and then came back on Tuesday afternoon. The place has a really good vibe - love the upstairs. My only minor gripe, its so busy, the wait staff do their best but its tough to keep up. My wife and I ordered a couple of drinks and the waitress wanted to hold my credit card.
