My group and I had a great time here. Went went for my birthday (September 18th); I booked the time slot online. They have a description of each game along with a few pictures so youll have an idea of what youre choosing. Be ready to work your brain while having a good time! I totally plan on going back.

This place is awesome. I have hosted several birthday parties here and the staff and management are always so helpful and accomodating. One of the most entertaining activities in the river region for adults, kids, or the whole family.

Having played escape rooms throughout Alabama, we are firm In Our beliefs that none come close to the Escapology brand! With Tanner there to help us master the room we were equally challenged and taken care of! He is extremely invested in the guest experience and seeing that he has a background in psychology makes me feel like I have been absolutely toyed with! Thank you! My husband and I will be back.

My family and I just visited Escapology and had a fantastic time! All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Ive worked in and played in several escape rooms throughout my life and this one is the most interesting, well put together and well managed ones Ive been to. We played the code room, and I cant wait to go back and try the others! Highly, highly suggest.

The games here are amazing! High production value, super streamlined, and with a great hints system. We did four games in one day. Also, as a nice bonus, theres restaurants and bars so you can get a meal between games. Parking is free on weekends so try to go midday on a Saturday, thats what Id recommend!

Interesting. I had no idea that anything like this existed in Alabama (until today). Met up with a friend here and we did the COD3 story - which involved finding clues to stop a [fictional] hacker from releasing sensitive material to the public... Within an hour. No videos or photos are allowed to be taken during the event, but once the timer runs out, or youve solved the puzzle, you can take group pictures in the designated area. There, they have a few props and costumes that players can wear (for the picture, anyways... You obviously cant take them home).It forces people to work together in order to find a solution.As for the building and area:Its a really nice, clean area in downtown Montgomery... Honestly pretty romantic. Theres a few different food choices and upper class bars within walking distance, so its perfect for dates!Free parking is available in a parking deck only a couple blocks away.The building itself is really modern and cozy with interesting architecture and plenty of seating available in the lobby (so you can sit comfortably while waiting on other teams to arrive).The staff seemed nice and coordinated.Ill probably go again. Definitely an interesting and memorable experience.

Highly recommended activity for a couple, some friends, or coworkers! The location is great near many restaurants and bars, and the building itself is beautiful. The interior is nicely decorated and a great place to hang out while you wait for your session to start. The escape rooms are very well thought out and require a lot of investigative work and thinking outside the box. The incorporation of technology with the rooms is an excellent addition and makes things feel more real.Ill definitely be going back for more!

Interesting experience. My husband and I went for a date night and had a great time working as a team on trying to find clues to avoid a war with Cuba. It was our first escape room and it was much harder than I expected. Very beautiful location and friendly staff. Somewhat pricey for regular visits but not bad for an occasional activity.

This place is amazing. It is so much fun to work together to get clues to find away out of a locked room. The staff is wonderful they are so friendly and helpful. If you have as n hour to spare check it out. Planning another trip soon.

A great night of escape. Was our first time in an escape room. What a wonderful set of guys to help us understand the escape and how it was done. The rooms are styled beautifully to fit the story and the game masters guide you through. Want to do something out of the ordinary? This is it! Worth every penny. Great for family, friends, date nights.

Visiting Montgomery for the weekend and me, the bf, and the bestie decided to stop in. Tanner was really nice and helpful so we booked TH3 COD3. For three people it was challenging but so much fun! Our gamemaster Preston was really nice and helped us out. We didnt escape but still had tons of fun! The lobby looks really cool and customer service was top notch. I highly recommend yall give it a shot!

Place was great! Would recommend for a group of friends while hanging out downtown. We picked Th3 C0D3 and it was a good challenge, figured it out with 8 mins left. The host were friendly and joked around to keep the atmosphere light. The lobby was decorated with a bunch of cool artsy items. I would do it again next time Im in town.

This is the second time my wife and I have been to Escapology. Both times the staff was phenomenal! The atmosphere is welcoming and engaging. The puzzles have been challenging but fun. We will definitely be back.

Lots of fun, plenty of moments that will make you ask yourself why your so stupid. Only went through one room but it sounds like other than the themes, the puzzles are kind of the same. Great team building for all the military classes which make up 90% of the crowds downtown.

Fun experience. Very engaging and time flies by. Much harder than I thought it would be. Older kids 10 and up enjoyed it too.

This is a great venue with several really fun escape rooms. The decorations are fantastic and the staff is polite and professional. I have done all the rooms now and will definitely be back when they add new rooms.

Val was super cute and helpful. I went with my wife and a girlfriend. We did The Code and I got distracted by the Atari and the Gameboy. We failed which was probably my fault, but it was a lot of fun. Mustache guy also had a pretty fantastic mustache .

Different levels for different groups. Done 3 so far and all have been a fun challenge with unique puzzles.

Helpful staff and nice location...Only complaint is that it is very expensive compared to other Escape rooms in bigger cities.

Escapology is such a great place to come together and work as a group. It’s great for team bonding as you’re locked in a room and have to work as a team to open the doors and be set free. They have different difficulty levels so if you want it a little easy or a challenge, you’ve got a choice. The environment is a cool and cozy atmosphere and it just looks enjoyable before you even enter the room. It was just all in all an amazing and fun experience. I will be coming back. You won’t regret coming to Escapology!

A wonderful escape from everyday life to have an adventure with family or groups of all kinds. The artwork is jaw-dropping, the staff is as kind and helpful as one would hope. This is a must do activity for one of a kind fun!

Went with my parents and wife. We did the Train themed one and had a blast. Escaped with about 7 minutes to go on the clock. Cant wait to try the other rooms.

My co-workers and I went to Escapology this past week. Everyone was blown away with the attention to details in the room and the customer service. I highly recommend trying to escape one of the rooms it is a fun activity that will not disappoint.

Went here with a group of co-workers as a paid event from our job for the purpose of team-building. I liked it so much that before we left I booked a room for my boyfriend a me to come back during vacation. Friendly, helpful staff. Cool, clean, unique, aromatic environment. Really fun activity that will get you thinking. Everything 100% even the decor! Its such a clever idea for thinkers. I told them that Im gonna tell everyone I know. Its not often Im willing to do that.

Escape rooms are awesome in general. This place has a great setup, but the room was a tad small for 8 people. I would love to go back.

Good Experience Overall, if not a little pricey.I came here with a team, and did the Arizona shootout puzzle. It was pretty cool, but I dont know that Id do another room for the price.

Awesome! We had 5 in our group and I had never been to an escape room. It was a 60 min time limit and the room was very cool. The clues were complex and challenging, and completely enjoyable! There is currently 6 games available and I will definitely be back!

By far the best escape room in Montgomery. The staff is amazing, the location is perfect, and the games do not disappoint. The price difference from other rooms in the area is completely worth it.

Pretty good. They dont allow phones in the rooms but thats understandable, kind of hard to find from a driving standpoint and we had to park down the road at a meter, so not in the best location. Not the best part of town either, would recommend an alarm on your car or good locks at the very least.

We have visited this location twice now (Budapest Express and Shanghaied), both games were challenging and the staff were awesome. They didnt allow us to sit stranded, it was professionally balanced with the challenge of the rooms. We look forward to smashing records and working through all rooms, especially with the classy, knowledgeable, and laid back game masters!!

Absolutely the most fun, entertaining attraction for all ages! I highly recommend Escapology. The staff was courteous and attentive. The escape rooms were exciting and challenging because you have to solve puzzles, find hidden clues and beat the clock to escape the room in an hour. They need a satellite branch in Wetumpka!!

Wonderful, fun, worth the money! I have been here four times and have had the same experience, amazing! The only issue was not getting my picture when finishing a room which after a small complaint about that, management fixed that problem. Never had an issue since. Its almost like a theme park in Montgomery, or at least thats how it will leave you feeling, like youve been on a ride for one whole hour of intensity. Definitely check it out. Prices range around $32 a person. Like I said, worth it. I suggest you bring some real thinkers into the room as it can get confusing, but the good thing is that the game master watching you wont let you fail as much as possible.

Had a fun time with friends. Its pricey, but escape games usually run about this much ($25-30). This one has a far better experience than Breakout on Taylor Rd.

Absolutely one of the most fun experiences in town for a great problem solving adventure with you and a date, or your and your organization. Take my word for it this is a better experience than some others, this allows for a much more personalized experience.

We loved this place and the experience. We were in town for a conference in the MPAC/Riverfront area, and our group was mostly high schoolers. The staff worked with us to figure out the best rooms to do and were super friendly. The rooms are very realistic. My group did Antidote, but they let us see a couple of other rooms and that just made me wish I lived in Montgomery so we could come back sooner. Definitely a great thing to do downtown!
