Amazing place to take the kids for any type of fun, bring a metal detector and find treasure or a fishing pole to make memories.Only side note is, is that its closed and that sucks.

I really like the park the only problem is they wont let you use it. Theyve been doing construction on it for a long time and instead of blocking off the construction equipment and letting you use the park they just block off the whole park and then threatened to call the cops on you when you want to. I like remodeling parts but I also like being able to use them.

The place is super calm and relaxed. It’s great for walking around the pond and for getting close to the river. There’s definitely kind of secret spots by the river that make for a great hideout!!! There’s also good fishing. Blue hills catfishes and even some small bass.

We took a cruise tour from south lake Tahoe around the lake. A Major point of the visit was Emerald Bay Park. It was just beautiful. The clear water and the shimmering sunlight was a sight to see. We did not get down from the boat but I understand hiking trails from this point are also awesome. A beautiful place to visit with some excellent photo opportunities

The field was pretty decent compared to others weve been to. The goal box was a little sparse. The refs were GREAT (even though we lost).

You feel like youre in the ghetto leading up to the park but the fields are well maintained and there is always staff on site. Clean, they do have a handful of portapotties for restrooms

Clean and nicely landscaped but the back area with the fishing pond looked locked up to the public. So if you want to go on a walk around a man made pond than this is the place. It also has access to the Tuolumne river which is also good for fishing.

Awesome spot. This park is great and I never knew there were walking trails behind it until recently. There is a huge pond for fishing, lots of wildlife and smooth dirt trails for walking or riding. Great place to take the kids we will definitely be back .

My husband and I went hiking in the Guadalupe State Park. The parking near the river is great and we were quite suprised that there are parking lots all over the park, that allow you to stop in different areas and hike around the wild areas further away from the actual river. There were ample picnic tables equipped with bbq stations, placed well in areas where you will have views of the river; some in very close proximity. The trees are breath taking and on a good weather day this place is a nature wonderland , you can find a sweet spot and easily have a great meditation session. The paths you can walk go along and within the forest like areas, making for excellent hiking and feeling like you can really go far within to discover nature. Its excellent that you can go in the river, just be sure to wear water shoes as the stones at the bottom will hurt your feet no matter how tough your soles are. I highly recommend this park for families and couples alike. And if youre a camper, this place is phenomenal as they have areas for campers, tents, and shower facilities . Very cheap rates, and you can be there all day with ability to come and go for the day you pay for. Love this place :)

One of my favorite places to take a walk. When the breeze is a certain way you can smell the dump located just across the river. Good catfish under the bridge.

Review №33

Cute park, but encountered some strange people (playing with dead snakes, peeing in the bushes, screaming and cursing at their children) and a plethora of various horrible smells. Chemical smells, skunk (well, cant help that one), weed, tobacco, but overall, it smelled strongly of s**t. Nope, not coming here again! If you do come here, come in a group or at least with a friend. Drive up to Jacob Meyers park in Riverbank, or up to Knights Ferry. Beautiful and safe areas.
