A beautiful, 2.5 walk on the St. Joseph River. The views are amazing. Multiple play areas and parks are a part of the experience. The fish ladder is really cool. I highly recommend the walk.

Mishawaka river walk is a beautiful place to walk and take time out of the day and watch the river run. Lots of activities pre Covid (not sure of future) peaceful and connects you to central Park as well as leads you to the downtown area. Worth the visit!

There is a lot geese poo, bugs, breezy air, wonderful views, beautiful structures, and so much more. If you like a nice walk, run, playground, or splash pad then this is a place worth wasting your time doing this stuff at. There is a donut shop nearby as a reward to counteract the energy expenditure.

Looking for a gentle place to stroll the night away? Looking for a place to get your 5 mile run in? Looking for a place to fish? Well the Riverwalk has ALL of these things and great views to boot. The paths are completely detached from the local roadways, so you can feel comfortable knowing that these paths are safe from traffic.If I was to give them a score for later at night on how well they are lit, I would give it a 7/10. There are some dark spots and if you are concerned with safety, then there might be a few areas you might not go to.The local parks department does an excellent job of keeping the paths clean of goose dropping and other trash.Give it a visit! You wont regret it.

This is such an amazing beautiful public park. It is well maintained, well lit and the flowers, seating, views, etc are fantastic. We have been going there for many years and will continue. Thank you city of Mishawaka for proving such an awesome place.

Beautiful place to go for a walk and recharge your soul.

This is a lovely place to take a walk with a loved one or simply take a morning or evening run. However it has a very unique fishy/ wet dog smell that isnt quite as pleasant and its quite busy most of the time. Other than that its a very nice place to go and enjoy the views.

Im happy the farmers market has moved here!This past Sunday had many booths with veggies and flowers, just the way it should be!Social distancing was fairly easy, made dogs and people feel welcome.

The redevelopment of this whole area is really coming along nicely. There are some that say all the new apartments/condos are detracting from the view of the river and city skyline (this is Mishawaka, dont forget) while others like myself are grateful that the area seems fresh, new, exciting.... when Uniroyal occupied that space, that area was a scary part of town, day or night. As soon as some tenants move in and the shops begin opening, maybe the locals will get off the social media and actually become social. Walk the dog, feed the ducks, listen to the water, grab a doughnut then jog it off.

This is a terrific, family-friendly, place to visit. There is parking throughout the walk and many places to rest. Two playgrounds and a few bandstands. People are usually friendly and respectful.

My family & I absolutely love this place! The improvements theyve made to the playground & the Riverwalk are amazing. Its always very clean & weve always felt safe, even later at night when weve went for nighttime Riverwalks. Highly recommend.

The Mishawaka Riverwalk is my favorite place to exercise, the scenery is gorgeous. I never get tired of that view.

Staff was very friendly and got my food out to me pretty fast, even during a dinner rush. 10/10 would come back to this restaurant.

A very nice place to visit for a serene experience but they have problems with keeping the area looking nice. Overall one of the best parks but is neglected some seasons.

We visited today. Would have loved to stay longer. The river is gorgeous and scary at the same time! Central Park was magical!! Will definitely be returning!!

Just a great place to walk

The walkways are large enough for six people to walk next to each other. Lots of dog walkers/joggers and the fountain area is very relaxing. That area is still under construction, but that doesnt seem to matter much. I havent been at night so Im not sure what the lighting situation is.

Today was my first visit here and I am blown away! I hope it stays the way it is and never becomes over run like the bigger city river walks.

I havent spent much time downtown Mishawaka for a lot of years. Recently walked a section of the Riverwalk and wow, what a great place! Clean, quiet, great views, and it looks like there is a lot more cool stuff in the works. Its definitely a great place to walk, ride, run, exercise a dog, etc. One star knocked off because the drinking fountains werent working in 75 degree weather and they didnt look like theyd been working for quite a while. Not a crisis for me, but the dog sure was disappointed.

The Mishawaka Riverwalk is fantastic. It’s peaceful and reasonably quiet considering the location. The sidewalks have been kept in good condition, the play children’s play areas are well kept, and the Riverwalk is usually clean. There is always a nice assortment of people out enjoying the weather.

Comfortable and soothing place to be. To take a nice walk and relax.

During the day, its a nice place to meet up and walk around with friends. Plenty of activities with restrooms nearby. At night it can be a bit creepy as the crowd there becomes the more undesirable type.

The best place to run in Mishawaka! A great trail that is long enough to stay interesting on a long run.

One of my favorite places to walk. The park is well kept, safe, with a beautiful view of the river. Great place to exercise or take a leisurely stroll with my wife. If you are a stair-climber, this is the best public spot in Michiana.

Great peaceful place to take a walk, ride bikes, sit on the grass and enjoy nature. If you choose to walk the full length and cross to the other side there is a wonderful picnic/pavilion and playground area!

The Riverwalk is a neat place to go walking with a number of things to see. It was fairly hot that day, so we didnt walk as far as we could have.

This place is beautiful! Worth the 20 min drive to see the scenery and the kids love the park and splash pads.

The riverwalk is beautiful and a great place for a walk or bike ride. Right now there is a lot of construction near it so parking is a little harder but it doesnt bother the experience much. Just a little added noise. The loop is about a mile.

Always a go to when I want a walk outside beautiful park and love to listen to the river flow only down side is people mess with the geese and leave the trash from parties everywhere

This place was one of the attractions to visit around South Bend. But honestly, I dont get why. It was so deserted and dirty that I kinda felt unsafe.
