Decent little park for running or cycling. Dog friendly. About half the people wear masks and half don’t. Lots of ways to get down to the actual river front and a lot of decent food and beverage trucks sitting around and doing business. And yes, true to the name, there are plenty of ruined mills to take photos of.

Mill Ruins Park is a cute park which is one side of the Stone Arch Bridge. The name says it all. It is in a location which has a lot of history. The place is nice for a walk or jog or even to hang out with family. It is also close to the university area. Summer is good time and it gets a bit chilly towards Fall.

A must see park in downtown Minneapolis! I am pretty sure if IT didn’t live in Derry, Maine then IT would for sure live beneath the ruins here. Worth a good stroll in the morning or if you can a good run out on the bridge and around the park.

Historically this place blew up because flour dust ignited and caused a explosion strong enough to completely destroy a building and bend all the metal outwards..... its very awe inspiring to think about that while walking around the ruins of a old flour mill. Great place for a evening walk....

Very cool little park in downtown Minneapolis! Easy to park and walk down to and well worth it to see some of the historic ruins from the city. I highly recommend it for anyone, both visitors and locals alike. You can hit this up itself or in addition to walking the bridge to catch some cool views of the city.

The mill ruins Park was rather informative. We went there just to kill time... My wife informs me that she had planned to go there I did not know that. My daughter says what else are we supposed to do all day. We took the tour that takes you up and down an elevator and tells you about the story bell flower tower. Afterwards we saw a 20-minute film on Minneapolis. Dot-dot-dot the history of Minneapolis. They also had a small Cafe where you could have lunch beer and wine yo. However my family would not let me stop and have beer or wine. They wanted to go have some ice cream at Izzys Ice Cream Parlor

Interesting and unique. Its not large at all (very much a small downtown park.) Basically, it is much like the other riverside parks along the pedestrian trail that follows the river, except for the mill. Still, because of the mill, its very scenic - a neat spot to stop by if youre in the area.

Not your average walk in a park! The delicate, fragile mill ruins make for a great contrast with the harsh, territorial crowd. If you have to be stuck outside walking in the cold dead of Winter 4.4 in the Great state of the Lakes and the Niceness, there should could be a heck of a lot worse. Seems to be partially wheelchair accessible as well.Word of Advice :Bring your smiles,And a knife!

There is a protected bike lane covering the entire loop. Seeing the history of the flour milling industry and how it shaped the city of Minneapolis and the Mississippi River is pretty cool. The signage for pillsbury and gold medal flour is maintained and lights up at night. If this is your first trip to the twin cities Id recommend the loop in warmer weather or bundle up. The paths are well maintained and there are informational plaques the entire way.
