Wow! I was blown away with Mike and Danny! They DJ’d our wedding this past Saturday and it was amazing! From my initial contact with Mike, everything was wonderful. He was so kind and professional and made me feel at ease (I was a little overwhelmed in my search for a reasonably priced and great DJ), but Mike called me personally within a few minutes of my first message to him and made the whole process so easy. Their online portal for customizing our music selections was great! I even had a little trouble getting it started and Mike was kind enough to walk me through it all over the phone. Mike read our crowd so well and kept the dance floor full! Danny took pictures and was so kind! Can’t wait to see the photos! Thank you Mike and Danny for helping make our wedding so special!!! DJ mike has an incredible variety of music from 70’s rock to current country to modern broadway. Always finding a way to let everyone join in his karaoke nights are something you definitely don’t want to miss!! If you hear DJ Mike Scott is in the area, I can promise you’ll regret not going!

I am disappointed to have to share this review but I think its important to share my terrible experience with Mike / TheDjsMic.I own an event rental business and I provided a dance floor for a wedding in Cambridge after being contacted last minute by the family. Mike / TheDJsMic was supposed to provide a dance floor and didnt, so all parties felt lucky that we agreed to bail them out and do a last minute job. I did a $500 dance floor that saved Mikes repuation and saved the event.The check Mike wrote me bounced, and since then Mike has completely dodged all of my extremely polite attempts via email, text, facebook, etc to get payment for our work.If I were a customer reading this I would not use these guys for a few reasons:1) despite us literally saving Mikes repuation he has now wormed out of his financial commitments without even acknowledging my requests.2) should you hire a business who doesnt have $500 available in their bank account?3) lets remember the bride / groom hired Mike to provide the dance floor, which he dropped the ball on entirely.4) all of this (failing to deliver on his promise to a couple on their wedding day, and failing to be a decent human and pay the company who came to his rescue) doesnt exactly inspire confidence... why would you want any of this for an important life event?I would be happy to update this review if/when payment is made, but until then it will be taken to small claims court.Extremely disappointed.

DJ Mic is very professional and delivers what you’re looking for, no matter big or how small the event is. The Uplighting was free. We decided to go with the photo booth upgrade and received a $250 discount.Overall I would rate this service as a A+++ for price, quality of service and professionalism.

Our wedding was really fun and the music was great thanks to DJ Mike. He led our announcements as an MC and played music inside and outside for our cocktail hour through last call.Communication before and after the wedding were pretty limited so if youre looking for a high touch DJ, Mike is not your guy. We did meet in person 1 week prior to our wedding to go through our music list. He has a detailed survey that I really liked because we could give him a list of which songs we wanted him to play (or not play).Our microphones did lose power during the reception (they didnt work for the later part of the night) and Mike kindly credited us some of his fee for the inconvenience.Overall, Mike is a nice guy who has lots of potential as he building his business and working out some bumps. One very special surprise that made me especially want to write this review is Mike sent us an engraved USB with our names & wedding date on it with all of our songs. It is a very sweet, memorable wedding gift - such a surprise and makes us very happy. Thank you Mike!
