Never got a chance to have a kayaking experience because after leaving several messages, no one called me back from the Derby location. The Milford office said there is only 1 person working there. Maybe they should consider hiring help.

Get a second phone so people can make appointments properly.REPLY TO BELOW ANSWER:1- How is it your top priority to keep your employees and customers safe when you WERE NOT WEARING A MASK? You, the guy at the counter, and the customers inside were not wearing a mask. I was the only one there with a mask.2- As I walked in no one even acknowledge there was a customer walking in.3- When I asked about making a reservation, the answer was dry and basically you almost kicked me out.4- I am not frustrated, I am just giving an honest review on a business who obviously doesnt care for its customers.

Rented a tandem kayak for the 4th of July. The staff was very helpful and the equipment was in fairly good shape for a rental. Will definitely use them again.

Great beach shop located on Walnut beach. Plenty of street parking and the staff was friendly and informative. What a fun way to spend a sunny afternoon. We rented kayaks which they helped us launch off the beach and we paddled around and enjoyed the day. Cant say enough about this cute little store. This is something EVERY beach community needs and I am so glad they have brought this type of service to Milford. Cant wait to go back!

What a perfect day I had! I had only been on flat water paddle boarding so it was a challenge on the not so flat L. I. Sound. Being 100º that day falling in over and over was a pleasure. It was a good work out dealing with the wind and the current. Most of all it was a lot of fun. The staff were flexible, professional and kind. One of the staff paddled out to me when she saw me struggling to get back towards my friend. Turns out I was doing something egregiously wrong BUT her help turned my paddle board experience around. The ISUPs are by RED PADDLE, who are top of the line makers of ISUPs. I am from Westchester County and its well worth the drive. I WILL be back with friends or solo. Thanks Scoot & Paddle.

Awesome place especially when you have friends over. Rented tandem bicycles & SUPs a few times - always a great experience and so much fun! This is a little gem tucked at the entrance to Walnut Beach. I love that they offer everything form kayak and paddle board rentals to moonlight paddles and yoga on the beach. The shop has some cute souvenirs and gear too. We live locally to Walnut Beach and always take our family and friends who are visiting into her shop to browse and rent PFDs. The owner is super friendly and really helpful. Thanks Tina for being so awesome! :)

We packed sandwiches, and with a 5-minute instructional lesson from Tina, it took the worry out and we were on our way. I won’t give away what the island has to offer but consider this tiny travel tip, wear water shoes or old sneaks for exploring! Definitely a day to remember!
