Kids love this place for private events and parties, etc. They have some arcade too. Its entertaining for the kids and parents too lol. Not expensive. Fun. And they always want to come back.

Went here on a $2 Wednesday night (6:30-9) and wasnt impressed. It may be a lot of fun for junior high school kids because thats the crowd youll find. The place is very small, so not much room to do anything. The music was too loud, but if thats something you enjoy, youll love it I guess. The music selection included country and was a variety of retro skate music and slower country. The rink floor had a small dip on one end and caught me by surprise lol.Overall, the best thing about this place is the decor...

No warnings of strobe lights, for those who are epileptic. It was jarring, I’m aware it was an event last night and just some fun on Friday the 13th but any type of warning would have been appreciated for my friend to get off the floor. Also having to pay for a green glow stick to not get dragged by some dudes in costumes is not okay. Honestly the whole place is sketch, there’s no railings protecting patrons from the floor, there’s a strip of carpet leading to the back of the rink right next to the rink itself so kids can just fly into others that are just walking to the benches. The skates glide too much, couldn’t even use the stoppers to stop, felt the bolts in my skates the entire time but did not want to keep going back to ask for new replacements. The nonstop speed skates instead of having slower skates for kids who couldn’t skate was not great, my friends felt they had to stay off the rink most of the night because of the speed skates constantly going on. If there were a few slow skates like “Girls skate” “boys skate” “couples skate” whatever mixed in would have been nice. All in all would not recommend it unless there’s some changes made.

Skateway is great place for children. I love the atmosphere and the owners and workers treat everyone as family. They are very trustworthy when it comes to your children and they keep a great eye on them and make sure its a safe environment.. I love Skateway!!

Been to this skate way thousands of times since I was a kid. Same owners and still amazing as ever. There party packages are beyond amazing and affordable. They are so friendly and funny. I love it here. My kid can have fun and play while I can sit and relax and talk with lovely employees.

We rented it out for our daughters birthday party. They only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because they had double booked our original party. We moved ours up but was still an inconvenience seeing how we had already sent out invites. We received compensation for the mix up but still a little frustrating. We had a great time anyways.

Well, let me start off by saying that I will definitely NOT be back. My friend and I decided that we wanted to go skating since we hadnt been in a while. We got to Skateway and as soon as we walked in, we were bombarded by a bunch of kids just rolling thru the place and swearing their mouths off. I looked out into the rink to see that there werent any rails to hold onto at all, which obviously is safe. Pretty much every kid was on their phone AS THEY WERE SKATING. When we went over to get some food, we paid with our debit card and the lady at the front wasnt happy at all, she gave us a bunch of attitude for paying with the card instead of using cash. Now heres the best part! When we sat down, I sat my friends debit card down to get ready to put it in my wallet. Well, as I was reaching for my wallet, this worker guy comes over and puts his hand on the card and slowly tries to grab it from me. I quickly took it back and looked up at him. He looked at both of us and said, You might want to put that away. Ive already stolen another kids phone, and held up the phone. Thats when we got up, left our skates on the floor and bolted out of there. When we got back into my car, the guy peered out of the door, so Im assuming that he was looking for us. So, if youre ever in need of recommendations for skating rinks, I HIGHLY suggest that you do NOT pick this one.

Me and my family went there on Saturday. The size of the sitting area was inadequate. The family four pack was a great price. But they cut short the time for the public skate due to a party, which I didn’t agree with. Heard some inappropriate words in some of the songs. Most of the staff was nice, but the dj was practically pushing us out the door. They won’t be getting anymore of my money.

My friend and I, both 16, went here and one of the workers took my debit card off the table. We took it back and he told us, Ive already stolen a kids phone, Ill take that debit card too. He then left but continued watching us until we ran out because we felt unsafe. The other workers were very rude, the lady at the food part was very rude and kept making comments because I used a debit card to pay, and the food wasnt even good at ALL! No one was telling the other kids to stop running in and pushing people while in the rink. There are also no railings to help people who arent good a skating. 10/10 would not recommend.

Skateway was a total shock in the best way possible. Their birthday packages are an amazing value for families. When came in and they had personalized center pieces the birthday kids, which they take home, also interactive games out on the rink, and the DJ takes your groups picture and prints it off for a souvenir. Thank you Skateway for a great party

Very nice people working here. Floor is in great shape. Lights, shoes, music. Wonderful.

For one, way too many teenagers being dangerous. They were shoving each other while skating, texting again while skating, swirling from the side right in front of people then returning right back to where they were standing so essentially doing a half circle, sitting on the skate floor and against the wall where there is maybe 18 inches of carpet between the wall and skate floor and sticking their legs out when people come by. People working there skate around and say nothing. The benches need moved or there needs to be a wall between the skate floor and the carpeted areas like other rinks.

Had a friend experience a scary situation not long ago here...his 15 year old granddaughter was pinned in the bathroom by an 18 year old boy who wouldnt let her come out. Said to her, Youre mine. Youre going to be with me., and the sad thing is when the girls grandfather came in and pointed the situation out to the worker, they did NOTHING. Said they were regulars, this guy and his friends and they didnt want to disrespect them. Not to mention the drugs being sold here. Bad bad place.

Im 42 years old this is where i went when i was a child then my three boys went there as children and now there grown up now my grandkids go to this skate way. The people are so family like very friendly this is a great place for any child to make good memories at love it .

I really didnt like skateway. I took my daughter the first time going last night for new years party and i seen where a couple kids took 2 or 3 balloons when they was only allowed to have one well the parents pop the balloon and stole the money out of couple of balloon. The workers was not paying attention they wasnt allowed to do that..

If I could give a ZERO I would! Had my daughters 10th birthday party here. My 11 year old son was harrassed and bullied by a kid named Warren, who is Skateways helper. He is a young teen who kept calling my son names, pushing him, and when my son fell, he pushed my sons face into the floor. Also, my sister witnessed her son being pushed by this same kid. Finally, he went up to my daughter and her 2 friends and started yelling at them, when they was only trying to get up off of the floor with skates on. I spoke with the referree and Linda, who said that they allow him to come help out, but that this was not the first time he has done this kind of stuff, so they was banning him from there. Come to find out, she had whispered to him to just pretend that he was leaving until we left, then he could come back in. We spent WAYYYYY too much money for the birthday girl, her friends, my nephew, and son to leave crying!!! This was totally unprofessional and thanks to them, she had a bad birthday party. I will never take my kids here again. Nor will any of my family memebers or friends. Oh, also, we all witnessed employees allowing this teen to grug deal by the desk for the skates!!! They condone this kind of behavior and turn a blind eye to it. What a shame!
