Clean facility, friendly and helpful staff! My family did the escape room and hatchet throwing and thoroughly enjoyed it...top notch all the way. My only suggestion is if you do an escape room, ask for a starter clue which will save you valuable time. Another plus is the fact that the owner takes health and safety seriously, all employees are masked and they use UV sterilization. Great fun!!

We went for a work outing so it was not open to the public at the time. The two camp counselors were great with explaining how to throw the axes and running the tournament for our group. It was a lot of fun.

Many visits to Camp Adventureland in the last couple months and holidays. The atmosphere is fun and the space is open. They give you plenty of room with wide throwing lanes. It’s easy to accommodate a group of ten in a cabin. The large picnic tables allow you plenty of room to spread out. They think of the small things like a place to hang your coat. It didn’t really occur to me until I had the convenience that it’s not something other places I’ve been to around the country think of. The rest rooms are all new and clean. Just hate a place that doesn’t clean. This place is clean. The “Camp Counselors” are incredible. What fun staff. I’ve thrown before but watching them with first timers was impressive. I certainly don’t have that kind of patience. I watched them teach techniques that turned throws into the floor into point scoring bullseye’s in 10 minutes. They have an array of fun games to play and guide you through them. Obviously service minded they teach you to score or will do it for you, help order your food and fetch drinks. My Counselor Laura even made us a bag of fresh pop corn. She was tipped well I must say and worth every bit.Unfortunately they don’t have food on site. It would be convenient to just grab a hot dog or hamburger but no dice. They do supply menus from a couple local restaurants though. I’ve ordered from both Luna’s Pizza and Rebel Cove while there throwing. They were both quick to deliver and both superior quality. Wings and pizza from Luna’s and steak sandwiches and sweet potato fries with this amazing coconut dipping sauce from Rebel Cove. It certainly made up for having to order in. CA has Jason’s Tavern adorned with props from Jason Vorhees of Friday the 13th. A creative extension of the 80’s summer camp theme. Jason’s is well stocked with 25-30 types of beer, malt drinks like twisted tea and Corona Refresca and a dozen or so wines in single serve and full size bottles. They could use more snacks though. The Escape rooms are a cut above any others we’ve been to anywhere. The prop work is very detailed and the puzzles are varied and well thought out. Not just a room full of pad locks. I’ve done the Blind Tiger Speakeasy. It’s a 1920’s prohibition era themed room. The back story we got was a local gangster Mugsy Molone or something like that was running illegal gambling and a speakeasy. The FBI busted the bar and closed it down but are unable to find Mugsy’s stash of booze, gambling stuff and the ledgers needed by the DA to prosecute. We had 60 minutes to find the ledgers before the case was thrown out of court. Poor Mugsy went to jail that day. We did get 2 of our 3 allotted clues but still finished with 2 minutes to spare. Can’t wait to do the other rooms they have.Locating Camp Adventureland was a challenge as it sits in a business park and is not well identified. There are no outdoor signs to identify it’s there. Make sure you use your gps. It’s worth the adventure! Our suggestion is call ahead to book. They are very accommodating and even answered the phone and booked us on a Tuesday morning even though they were closed. I figured I’d get a voice mail but they picked up. Just blew my mind. Evidently they call forward to an on call employee so you get to speak with a real person. How very 80’s of them.

A fun place to hangout with friends! Camp adventure land has axe (hatchet), knife and tomahawk throwing as well as very intricately designed escape rooms. For the kids, this spot has mini axe throwing where each plastic axe is covered in suction cups in order to stick to the target. The counselors there are knowledgeable and fun and do a good job of making sure everyone is armed with a few good techniques before starting each game. Super cozy camp setting to chill with friends. Havent tried the escape rooms yet but will definitely be back for more!

We had a great time in the Jade Skull escape room. It was our first experience in an escape room and we cant wait to try the Save Santa escape room next! This is definitely a great place to enjoy a night out with family. I also really appreciate the 80s summer camp theme! The little lit camping cabins are so cute!

The environment was such a fun place for a new timer and the staff did a great job with their customer service, especially Brian. Brian was very patient with teaching us the correct techniques and mirrored our excitement as myself and my girlfriend caught on fast. He was always available and was an open book for any questions! Great experience and I will definitely come again another time! Great job and keep up the great work!

Camp Adventureland is a great place for the family. Whether its a escape room or axe throwing you have a great time. They even have some cool things for kids that cant do the axe throwing but still want to join in on the fun. They take the time to teach you how to throw. We love this place ️

This place is surprisingly fun. We purchased a combo deal, one escape room and 1 hour of axe throwing. The escape room is what was surprisingly fun. I thought it would be gimmicky, but it wasnt. The secret doors, puzzles, and analysis it took to defeat the room on time were quirky and fun to solve. The room we did required logic, reason, good ol fashioned work, and was enjoyed by all.Axe throwing is axe throwing. I thought I would be better at throwing an axe one handed, but I wasnt. Two hands over the head and bullseye. Who knew? If you enjoy the rush you got from doing things as a kid your parents would yell at you for, then youll enjoy axe throwing. My wife and daughter enjoyed the thunk of an axe hitting the target and were also surprisingly good at hurling axes. I highly recommend this place and know we will be back.

Have been here twice and done both the Speakeasy and Jade Skull escape rooms plus an hour of ace throwing. Soooo much better than Stumpys! Love that you can play games like tic-tac-toe and points! Escape rooms are SO much better than any other ones I’ve done. Would definitely recommend for a fun night out with friends or date night!

The was our first time and we initially purchased a Groupon online. Upon calling to book a time we discovered that Groupon was advertising false deals. The establishment still allowed us to purchase a 2 hour session under the Groupon price, and informed us to contact Groupon for a refund of monies paid to them. When we arrived the counselor was very attentive to our needs and explained everything thoroughly. Colin went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed ourselves and learned a throwing technique that works best for my husband and I. We will return again due to such immaculate customer service and how much we enjoyed ourselves! 5 ***** Star!

What an EPIC evening of fun! I cant put into words the level of customer service our group received from Camp Adventureland. We all purchased tickets on Groupon, and didnt realize we had to make an actual reservation at Camp Adventureland for a time slot. Turns out they had no availability for Memorial day because it was closed in observance of the holiday. Since we had so many people committed to coming, we reached out to Camp Adventureland on Facebook, praying they could accommodate our group. Low and behold the Manager responded, and was so kind and helpful. She affirmed vouchers and took our reservations. When we arrived, we were astonished that the manager opened Camp Adventureland just for us, which means she had to gather employees from New Jersey on their DAY OFF! Mind blow, that a business owner would go above and beyond to give us busy moms an opportunity to have a fierce axe flying good time. I hope that Camp Adventureland will have much success! Your generosity was a game changer, thank you so much again! Check out Camp Adventureland in Middletown, DE it was excellent!
