Great place to social distance. Had a family birthday, party of 6, great music and sports on the tele...service good... food not so great, cold, and lots of items not available, but we were glad to be out together for a few hours

Very great place. Menu is quite varied, even through these trying times. The have worked hard at adjusting to new rules and guidelines making their restaurant and grill very cosy and appealing. The food is very presentable and tasty. Portions are generous and pricing is respectable. We will definitely return.

Very disappointed. Second visit to Mezzos. First visit a few years ago we were pleased, but this time was a disaster. Server misordered our meals, loud and obnoxious environment, filthy bathrooms and way overpriced “Pub food” at best. Definitely won’t be going back there!

I went here with a group of friends on a Friday and found this place pretty good. The food is nice and the cocktails are very delicious!! Live music is good . Servers are nice as well

Went to this place last nights with my buddies, and we waited for good 45 minutes to get in. In the meantime, other people that had connections and girls were entering with no problems, and without waiting at all. By the time we got close to the door to go in, they shut the doors right in front of our faces. The owner is very unreasonable and doesn’t care how his customers are treated. I do not recommend this place, unless you are a female or have any connections. This is not how businesses run in CT, and should be illegal. Very unfair!!!

Large outside patio for dining. Bar outside was busy when we had dinner. Good selection on the menu, both my wife and I found items we enjoyed. Watch for Happy Hour specials, too. Can definitely recommend. Will definitely return.

Waited in line for about 40 minutes outside to wait for a table to open. However, young guys were walking right in without a problem. Employee named Steve at the door was very rude, unprofessional and sexist. Someone like that should not be hosting, rather someone welcoming and friendly. There was a whole line of females waiting outside to be seated while the males walked right up and had no problem getting a table. Would recommend going to this place as your LAST option based on their poor service and treatment towards females.

Work Sunday hip-hop patio night

For a Wednesday night it wasnt very busy, except for the (shootout to) Paint Nite group that was putting on a great display of their skills.But were not here to hear about, let talk about the food. The appetizer for prime rib Wednesday were the fried mozzarella. They were the perfect size. While I didnt find them all that flavorful, by no means were they bad. Having been here a few years back, I was hoping that I wasnt paying attention that day and will be blown away by something this day. The menu is more on the bar food side than fine dining or some unique plates. I thought I would start with one of my favorite stand bys in this case, fish & chips. If you cant get this right, what can you do! They did not disappoint here. The fish, which was haddock, was nice & flakey. The pumpkin ale batter added some nice flavor. The fries were cut in a wary Ive never seen before. Nice touch with the fries. For me portion size was more than enough fish n fries. The prime rib, while it was enough to feed a small village, certainly could have benefited from the paint group in presentation. Cooked to order, bloody, it was described as oh my God.Desert was a little anemic as for choices. Of the two options the lava cake won. It was fine enough. With vanilla ice cream it was rich as youd expect.Did I mention there was about four people in here? (Not including the Paint Nite group) It probably took 20 minutes before placing an order. Now the food did come out at a good pace. That was great. But there was hardly any checking on for water or anything. If we didnt ask for things, nothing would happen. In fairness Im not sure who was actually a server and who was there just to bus tables? If youre in a hurry you may want to think twice.....Blown away, maybe not but above all I really have no complaints. I guess I was expecting something that this place isnt. The food is worthy and are definitely on the more reasonably priced side! Would I go here again? Yes. I think im just unhappy with the lack of service?

Food & environment was very good. Tap list was disappointing, nothing exceptional & lopsided on IPAs. Service was comically bad, the staff was so poor we just had to laugh. Sadly, they werent even that busy on a football Sunday afternoon

This is a great place to come as a group and enjoy a really cool outdoor patio, or sit inside with the TVs and nice indoor atmosphere. Food was good. The buffalo chicken wrap was a little harsh with the sauce, and the pesto wrap didnt have enough sauce. I would definitely come here with a group for happy hour and just order apps and drinks. Live music and DJs too!

Two weeks ago, the bartender sold me a can of corona and a well vodka drink for $9. Twenty minutes later, they sold me one well vodka drink for $9. Weird, but okay. Maybe they messed up.Tonight, after waiting with no service at the outdoor bar and having to go inside because a drunk employee kept blowing on my hair and messing with me while I was waiting, they sold me one well vodka drink for $10. Same drink every time.Get some consistent pricing and stop overcharging for WELL vodka. This isn’t the kind of place that has Tito’s or Grey Goose in the well.

Always a great time here and their patio is great. The only problem is the patio wait stuff is a hit or miss. You would be very lucky to find one that is consistently serving drinks/food. Management should definitely do something about this

We love this place! The outdoor dining is superb. Live music and deck games. Great atmosphere. A little annoying to deal with the yellow jackets but it didnt ruin our fun.

The sign says Pizza is available until 2am except for when you ask for it. Suddenly they only have 1 slice and its not even midnight. Look at the pics; nobody was there eating...and the pizza is gone? Lazy.

I had the Mac and cheese bites, bacon knots, pulled pork spring rolls, a long island iced tea, and a tequila sunrise. All were great and we had a blast at the paint nite that they hosted.

Food was good (and I never liked Brussels Sprouts)! Atmosphere is very nice, clean, airy and open. Couldnt get anything from the bar, the bartender kept forgetting me with all the other people streaming in. She seemed young and fairly new. Be that as it may, it was a good place to visit and grab an appetizer at Happy Hour.

Stay away. Took over an hour to get an order of fries, a pizza and two sandwiches. Then when the pizza came out, it wasn’t even the right pizza. Server kept making excuses, rather than owning the screwups. In the time we were there multiple tables sat well after us and had food on the table well before we did.Server tried to make it better by giving us a gift card, but it was so bad we’ll never go back.

Great food and good music

Great casual place to meet up with friends and relax. Their appetizers were incredible (bacon wrapped scallops!) and they have an extensive beer and drink menu. The back patio and tiki bar is surprising because its hidden from the street, but they have a small stage as well so its an intimate place to listen to some live music. We didnt eat from the dinner menu other than apps, but if its anything like the apps, you wont be disappointed. We expect to eat dinner there the next time we go.

Good vibes, great people.. I dont like that you can not wear shades or necklaces there. I should be able to wear shades and a necklace, specially if women can wear them.. they should really change that

Slow service. Food is adequate and overpriced. The shrimp stir fry was an embarrassment. Shrimp looked old and dish was inedible. Appetizers took for ever then came out with our entrees as did the salad. Garlic knots and cheese fries were okay at best. Told me they werent going to charge me for appetizers but when the bill came they did. Noone seemed to care. Too many other better options on Main street to go here again.

A little expensive but in reality, these are regular prices for a nice place. So youll easily spend $50 after food and two drinks. What made me knock off stars were, we had a large group people, so when it came down to pay for our food, our waitress said their can only be 6 bills or less amongst the 12 of us, that they couldnt do individual bills which is the weirdest thing Ive ever heard. That alone made me not want to come back. For a nice place the bathroom sure wasnt clean. Overall, I did enjoy the live music. He had a nice voice and the outside patio was nice too. After 10p it pretty much turns into a night club.

Food and service were good. Just a suggestion, include roasted green peppers in the sausage grinder for better contrast the authentic Italian way. Red peppers get lost in tomato sauce. A little thin on the cheese too. The reason for three stars is the noise level. So high. We wanted to sit outside but the band was a playing at rock festival level during dinner time...too much. Couldnt hear the waitress. But we liked the place .

Had the Wednesday night special, Prime Rib with baked potato and asparagus, out of this world . Prime Rib cooked just the way I like and a huge cut. Waiter was fantastic and very efficient. Would definitely go back and try other dinners.

I met a few friends for happy hour a few weeks ago. The food portions were super skimpy and the service was slow. We tried to flag down our server for about 20 min to order a second round before we got up and left and went to Lay Boca.

I was there 2 weeks ago and with a friend of mine. We stood by the door and waited to be seated no one came so we picked a table. We were there a good 15 to 20 minutes and no one came to ask us if we wanted a drink or order some food. My friend and I felt so out of place and embarrassed that we just decided to leave. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone shame on them.

My first time there, it was great. The food was so good. My drink was good. The live music was nice. The waiter seemed really busy but still very attentive and didnt make a single mistake. The manager Al was fantastic. Came over, checked on us several times and really showed he cared his customers were happy. We left before it got jam packed with club goers.

Vary nice hot spot for collage kids and parents alike. Could be very busy on Friday and Saturday nights.

Me and a few friends drive from Hartford to enjoy my sister birthday but that wasnt the case at all when we got there. The waitress on the second floor was very nice and made amazing drinks even tho it was on the pricey side . Our intentions was to have fun but unfortunately the securities are so racial towards us and disrespectful . Second time we encounter racism at this bar and we wont be going back

The service is a problem at this place. Takes forever to get a drink or food. Drinks are weak and the food is average at best. The only thing that keeps me going back is the music. Always hopeful that the service will improve but it never does.

We have gone here several times and enjoyed the food but not tonight. It took over 20 minutes to get our appetizer and then before we barely started our meals arrived. Lobster roll was not buttered and toasted and lobster was over cooked. New menu and new chef ... Restaurant needs to get act together. Well wait until we hear better news from place before eating here again.

Bathrooms are gross, always have pee all over the floor. Service is terrible and they overpack the patio in the summer to the point where you just cannot even move and get drinks spilled all over you. Last summer I got glass in my leg because someone smashed a beer bottle right in front of me and it splattered everywhere. They did it on purpose. My husband notified the bouncer about the broken glass and the patron who did it, they didnt even clean the glass nor care. I used to like Mezzo, but it tried too hard to become something it is not.

I have visited many times for the Prime Rib special. I took my elderly mother (who is easily confused) and I found the folks to be very accommodating and helpful. Food was terrific. We visited this favorite many times.....it was all excellent...and staff were helpful.

Good atmosphere, burger was excellent. Would definitely recommend. Will go again. Only been once, will need more exposure to get to 5 stars

So this place... Ordered a margarita, simple ask really - dont dont have high expectations but difficult to make terrible...Fast forward to the drink, was pretty bad. Then got the check, 11 dollars, was explained to me that since I didnt want it blended, instead on the rocks that the on the rocks button adds 3 dollars to an 8 dollar drink. This is an outdoor patio party place, somewhere and sometime you may not look at the bill vs. what you got. This time I did and I wont again...

Decent beer, solid American fare. Have a half price wine night too. Summer weekends here are great though. They have a sweet tiki bar and gorgeous courtyard. Hot spot on weekends. Big tvs in bar for sports too.
