If you in town from another state & wanna purchase authentic Cuban American gear (cigars, Gamboa, fedora hats, shirt, shoes) Calle Ocho walk of fame is the destination. Hand made & expect to be serviced properly & patiently. Learn a littl Spanish.

Its a Miami MUST! You have to visit both day and night, daytime you can find mostly elder people to play domino and chess and authentic souvenirs to buy, nighttime latin music comes out of the restaurants, and a lots of people strolling on the street. Beautiful old-timer theater, a Cuban walk of fame, authentic ice cream shop and an American glassed barbershop with the downtown skyscrapers in the background. It was an unbelievable experience to us!

Located in Little Havana, Miami a must visit fir any visitor. Lots of food and shopping with architecture that will transport you to the island. Everyone is friendly and the prices are quite friendly. Plenty of parking is available even street parking that I was able to get. The parking on the street requires you to download a phone app to pay but the app works great. An added bonus is the app alerts you when you spot is about to expire and you can add more time. There is a visitors center where they sell both walking tours and double decker bus tours with the open top deck. A great time to be had for adults of all ages.

Visiting Calle Ocho Walk of Fame in Little Havana is like strolling in an open air museum. Everywhere smiling faces , everywhere helpful people ready to answer questions of a curious tourist and , of course, everywhere beautiful paintings. I loved discovering the traditional way of making Cuban cigar and the flavour of Cuban coffee served in small cups as well as the music. I definitely recommend Little Havana as a must visit in Miami

Calle Ocho was exactly what I expected, a busy street full of life, music, great food and above all culture!! As a Latina I felt so proud and so welcomed, it was like being home...all the street art and monuments in honor gave me a sense of pride and the people are all so nice. My husband and I tour on our own but I did see lots of interesting tours. Either way is definitely a fun place to visit!

Go for the experience but dont need to spend more than 1-2 hours there. The walk of fame gets no love. Just dirty stars on the floor with names scattered about in no particular order. Just a strange mishmash of random Latin actors/singers of yesterday. Time for a renovation and revitalization of the walk of fame, new artists, better location of the stars and make them nicer.

Held once a year in March the famed Calle Ocho festival definitely lived up to its name! This is the Mecca of all different cultures from ages 1 to 100 coming together to celebrate and represent their heritage and also embrace others as well. It was absolutely amazing and beautiful to see all different blends of people... the biggest block party I’ve ever seen. 10 blocks in Little Havana filled with music, food, and fun! My only tips is be prepared to pay for parking ($20) if you don’t want to walk miles to get there, because once you get in bathrooms are far and few in between and you literally WALK everywhere. The aroma of grilled meats from every culture immediately hits you as soon as you walk up, on every corner for 10 blocks you see Puerto Rican, Dominican, Cuban, Honduran, Mexican, Jamaican, even a few American flags being waved and worn by many. I learned from my husband whom is a Miami native that street tacos aren’t really big in Miami I was appalled! Being a Texas native myself that is a common thing where I’m from ( Denton 30 min outside Dallas) so I was so excited to see Mexico representing and getting the opportunity to stuff my face with tacos! Most Latin American artists get their first start at this very festival, during the day it’s SUPER hot and that’s not an understatement! They have a few performances going on but mostly the big headliners are in the evening when it cools down. Overall I throughly enjoyed myself and definitely will come back again next year!! *** please bring a few water bottles , a light tote to store things, sunblock, hat, and most importantly comfortable shoes!!! You will thank me later
