Ax throwing my first time at this spot was a cool experience! “Hurricane” helped our group out and made everything easy to understand. Highly recommended! COVID precautions were taken and would definitely come back!

Amazing time, incredible staff with a great selection of local craft beers. Had a great birthday there with my friends and family. Our hostess was knowledgeable, fun and extremely sweet! Will definitely visit again, great place to release any aggression or just test your skills. Harder than it looks, fun and impressive to see the skill level of your group and yourself.

Amazing experience!! Axe throwing was intense and fun! A unique experience everyone should try. And their Viking escape room was extremely challenging and fun. Definitely will be coming back! And Andrew the Hurricane made this experience unforgettable! He is THEE best host Ive come across in a long time. I absolutely loved my first time of throwing axes at Palmetto Bay’s Extreme Axe Throwing. I was a little nervous at first but with Mike and Jeff’s instruction I was able to get over it quick. They helped a lot with making it feel like a safe and fun environment. They were helping us until it seemed that we got the concept of it. Friendly staff and welcoming environment! It was fun and I can’t wait to come again honestly!

Ill admit that we originally went just to be able to say we went axe throwing. However, it turned out to be a blast! We went during an off peak time, which turned out to be a very fortunate, as we got tons of help and attention from Amber and Quincy, and we got to spread out and try the different types of throwing lanes. Going off peak let us throw a lot more than would have been possible if we had to share a lane while it was busier. The staff was GREAT! The price is $35 per person, which I originally wondered about. However, once we got into it, it was a hell of a lot of entertainment for the money, and reasonable considering the Miami rent they must have to pay. You can throw for about an hour and a half, which is basically all you can throw, and they have a bar and offer the throwers drinks -- mostly after you are done. There is a lounge and a really cool balcony area for hanging out. I hope they do well because I would like to keep going back. We parked easily on the side street. Its on the second floor, so look for the sign.

I went yesterday with two of my really close friends & we loved it! Unfortunately, I don’t remember the instructor’s name but he was so nice, funny, & patient. Although we didn’t make a reservation, they were willing to squeeze us in last minute. I will definitely be going back & recommend my friends & family to go. If I could give this place ten stars I would!

ZERO STARS! UNACCOMMODATING! DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE! Birthday trip with a group of 11 and this is our first activity for the day. We’re all excited, ready to get in and get active and we are told that we don’t have a reservation. The host of our group called the day before and specifically spoke with a staff member (Mark) who said he’d write down our party in the books and to come in at a specific time. We were told that maybe we booked with the other location (Palmetto Bay). We proved that we did speak specifically with THIS location and were told by the manager that she highly doubts that her staff member told us that, because reservations cannot be booked via phone. INSTEAD of trying to find solutions and accommodate us, we were given empty apologies. Not to mention we were told that they received a call from the “party that they did book” that they were parking, however, WE called prior to walking in to ask about parking. When we explained that we called about parking as well, we were told they received 2 calls. Nonetheless, after waiting around for a while, we never saw the ”party that was already booked” walk in. At that point, we all felt as though we weren’t receiving service for another reason. I will never come back or refer this place.

The axe throwing is great fun. Not sure the interactive targets are worth it though. Next time Id rather just go to to a regular target lane. Food is ordered from another place so would definitely be better if they had a full menu right on sight.Definitely worth a visit.

We had a great experience at Extreme Axe. it was easy to make a reservation online, I called to confirm and everything was set. When we got there the host was very nice. We had very good lessons with the AxePert. We went for a team building, we were 10 people and it went great, I highly recommend it!

Fun staff, great locations, they can customize games with photos of people and many game types. Lots of stalls for throwing and they play games/sports events. They also have an escape room and reasonable prices. Come with a large group to have more options.

Great place to go for a fun night out. A group of 4 of us went here on a saturday night. We made a reservation online cause we noticed the place gets full quickly. For $15 more per person you can get an interactive game where you can throw knives, ninja stars and axes onto a projected screen that helps keep track of your score. There is a bar that serves wine and beer. Water bottles were free. In addition to axe throwing they also have two escape rooms which we want to go to when we return to Miami. The employees are courteous, helpful and professional. After you sign a waiver they take you to your lane and teach you how to throw. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for something different to do on a saturday night.

Extreme axe throwing got its name for a reason. It’s extremely hot. That’s the only thing extreme about it. On top of the temperature, our axe got caught behind the board. About 25 mins passed without us being able to play. And then they were “extremely” rude about when we asked for a discount. Saying it was “our fault,” not for a faulty design. Classic “extreme” axe throwing!

Had the absolute best time here. Can’t say enough good thinks about Mike. He took the time to help us out, give us an Axe 101, give us pointers on how to hold and aim for better results and even took several group pictures for us while we used all the mid evil props they provided. I think he made all the difference in our experience! Went in a group of 5 women ages raging from 30 -67 and we all had a blast. Must try! Thanks Mike

Had such an awesome time at their Miami location! My friends and I had never done axe throwing before, but with the careful guidance of Amber, an employee, most of us were throwing like pros at the end of the night. Amber recommended we try the interactive targets, which we all loved and enjoyed as well. We definitely will be back!We also tried out their escape room which was so much fun. I have done a lot of escape rooms in the past and I thought this one ranked up there with some of the best of them. The difficulty level was high, but everything followed logically and was well done. We were able to solve it well within the allotted time of an hour.

2nd time back! Service was amazing, always is! Everyone should try this at least once! You get to not only throw axes but you can try throwing knives, ninja stars, and cards!

Its a unique experience, time just flys by here. Do it, you wont regret it.

We had a great time celebrating our friend’s birthday. It was super causal and fun! The 2 ladies that work there (can’t remember their names) helped us so much. One of them stayed with each person ( there was 10 of us) and made we sure we knew how to properly and safely throw the axe. By the end of the night we all hit a bullseye! They also politely reminded us about the cake we brought in and had all the utensils and plates to serve it.

Went on a date with my husband and we had a blast. The staff was great, showed us how to properly throw the axe. It was some fun competition between my husband and I. Such cool vibe and they had great music. Definitely will go again.

Great experience overall we only did the axe throwing this time but they also have escape rooms which look interesting. The staff was very nice and professional, they teach you the correct way of throwing the axe and give you tips. Would definitely go again!

Most of the staff is nice but my experience was completely ruined by one of the staff some older Russian man I believed named Eugene . I was completely mislead and ripped off and was also a little insulted considering I have been a regular customer for a little while . Every time I go there is new management . Seems like incompetence from owners riding the coattails of a fad. Would love to go to another axe throwing venue in Miami soon . Don’t let these people steal your money .

Spontaneous Miami down pour, found this cool place trying to get out of the rain. Absolute surprise. They took the time to get me started and throwing straight. Within 15 minutes was pretty consistent. Beer.

I had an amazing time with my girlfriend at my friend’s birthday party. Special shoutout to the manager Ashley for being amazing and making the night so special for my friend. I highly recommend this place it’s bring your own booze and axe throwing. What more could you want?

Staff was really amazing, helpful, and joyful to talk to. This was my first time throwing axes and doing an escape room and they were as helpful as could be. This is really a fun thing to do with a group of friends if your looking for a cool activity to do.

We had the BEST time at our corporate event!! Amber, the bartender was so nice and helpful! David, Eugene, and Michael gave us the rundown on how to throw the axes. They allowed us to hang out in their lounge for a while to eat and drink... we brought in catering. The whole event was really awesome and wasnt that expensive either!!

Excellent place to drink and have fun. Quincy and Eugene were excellent teaching me how to play with axes. I became nearly a professional in just 2 hours while drinking. Cool new venue, worth the trip to downtown. This place is intoxicating and the experience addictive. I’ve also been to their Hollywood location and both had friendly, attentive staff who assist new and returning guests master throwing two-handed axes and hatchets. There is beer and wine but the food menu is limited. If you get a chance, opt for the “games” version. You’ll thank me later.

I am in Miami for the weekend and this was a suggestion to do. And this is a must thing to do while in town. So much fun, the hour and half fly by and you get great instructions to keep hitting that mark. Great atmosphere, and all around enjoyable experience. Would visit again when back in town!
