Great scenic view, never really packed, great place to reflect or think, & even better stage for intimate convo with the hunnies. Playset & doggie park included- you couldnt ask for a better place to unwind or windup family, friends, or special acquaintances! ^^TWO FANGS UP

Fairly easy to get to and the launches Ive used have all been in excellent shape. This is a great public launch. It has spaces reserved for trucks with trailers so parking hasnt been an issue. Its part if a nice park and trail system too.

Great little spot to park and walk around by the water! Kids love to run around and play here. Be here on the right evening and that fireball in the sky put on a great kodak show!

Probably the best sunset views in the city. Very long running/walking path, good size playground with enclosed fence, and ample parking. The west end of the landing recently had a scenic bridge built. It doesnt have an official bathroom structure, but several portable bathrooms are available. Overall, a clean and well-maintained place to enjoy a nice walk or run.

Great place to take a break and experience some calm in the middle of the day! Grab a bag lunch with your gal and have a picnic.

Beautiful place that I had no idea excited until I just stumble open making a wrong turn. This is amazing, beautiful, quit pier and water lunch with a huge parking lot. Dog park, big slide kids playground. This may be my romantic place for my next date!

I went here for July 4th, 2020 to see fireworks. The location itself was nice, but the pier had more lights burnt out than actually working. Not a very welcoming place at night lighting wise. They should replace burnt out light bulbs, especially when a holiday is coming up.

Great spot for walking, running and biking. But take care, the seagulls are gangsta! One minute, Im enjoying a delightful and delicious BLT, the next minute, my sandwich get jacked by 30 seagulls. Hope they enjoyed it as much as I would have liked to.

This Is A Great Place For Fishing out of the pier you can catch redfish sheephead catfish when it Is Best to purchase you some live shrimp or mookie bait to fish with.We Always Have Fun Here..If you dont want to fish and you just want to look at the water or sit at the picnic tables or have lunch thats cool too or just walk around they have a place for that also...

Clean for the most part. Can get a little crowded on the weekends.

I enter the walking/bike path on Homestead where they have a nice easy path to walk over the levee with a stroller. You walk along the pier to catch a nice glimpse of the sunrise or sunset.

What a wonderful day spent fishing with a group of 30 friends, many of whom I had not seen in over 10years. The boat was more than large enough to accommodate all of us. Fishing was something more than we all expected. Every one got their limits and enjoyed the day and each others company. Most beautiful sun rises I have seen in years

Lovely dog park

Was one of the best times I have had in a long time. Got to spend the day with so many friends, some of them its been 20+ years since I have seen them. The fishing trip was so wonderful. The boat was more than sufficient to hold all of us and let us fish. We left before the sun rose and caught so many. Let me just say how wonderful it is to catch up with old friends and reminisce. Life is short time is fast, use what you have and grow with it. Friendship, love, experiences, and living life to the fullest in a safe manner equals happiness. Such a pretty little spot! Just right for a walk by the lake!

Well, first, when the tide is really high the launches go under water. Otherwise its ok. Theres plenty of parking and a small dog park. Its centrally located at the end of Bonnabel, so boats can make fairly short runs to the causeway or New Orleans.

Very quiet and peaceful! Enjoy listening to the rush of the waves on the seawall. Very nice.

Super boring and lame stinky air and everything corona

The playground is great. Its gated and has tables with shades. There are no shades over the play structure, however, so it gets very hot during the day.There are port-o-pottys, outside of the play area, but they are pretty gross. Bring wipes/hand sanitizer/Lysol. There is also a gated dog park, across the parking lot. Small but double gated on either end and there is a water fountain for the pups.

This place is simply beautiful. Jefferson Parish has totally remodeled the entire park. Theyve landscaped the park with a new raised parking area for cars, added a big park with gazebos for eating & having picnics or family functions. Theyve also built a new huge, lengthy pier. Everything has been transformed including brilliant night lighting. Its so beautiful & inviting. They have created a beautiful walking path that begins at Bonabel & goes to Causeway.

Its clean. At night they have those cool kids in car clubs that probably sell meth out the car there. If they keep it open 24hrs they should really have it detailed too. Oh yea! The only time I was ever red offered drugs was here. A girl came up to me with a hand full of pills. So that was neat.

I absolutely love this little spot. Maybe its due to so many memories from when I was a teenager. It is beautiful, safe & well taken care of. Everytime I visit La I take a pass through.

I love this place. I love to go there to relax. There is a boat launch, kids park, dog park, ample parking, trail to walk, jog or run, a pier to fish or take pictures. It isnt over crowded. Theres something for everyone.
